There is a wooden bridge in the middle of the lake. You can even feed the fish in the lake. Boating is also one of the activities that can be done in the lake. There is a beautiful cafeteria with a variety of refreshments and beverages Cool and calm, excellent variety of flowers in the ward's lake. . It is also known as Pollock’s Lake (Nan Polok) because of a popular engineer during the per-independence era. It is said to be around a 100 years old. The establishment of this lake was planned by the then Chief Commissioner of Assam. It lies in the middle of the city of Shillong and the lake is surrounded by a lush garden with flower beds and cobble-stone footpaths and a mesmerizing fountain.

Small but beautiful lake, specially famous for the cherry blossom 🌸 Everyone comes here for the cherry blossom 🌸 festival and to enjoy the nature. Entry ticket is Rs 20 per adult, Camera charges are extra! Boating rates are Rs 280 per 5 seater boats. Personally felt like a bit overhyped place, but yeah that's a personal opinion! Though one should visit this place if you are crazy about cherry blossom 🌸🌸

Nice tourist place of Shillong, Meghalaya. It's near Shillong main point Police bazar, 7 - 10 mins walking distance from police bazar. It's open till 6:30pm in evening. Tickets per head Rs.20/- for adults and you can't carry any plastic bottles within the park. You can boat here, in the lake of this park. You can dressed up here like traditional Khasi dress against Rs.100/- per head. Nice place for tourists, must visit place in Shillong.

A great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. You may drive up to the lake and park your vehicle on the road outside. Feed the fishes, take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside pathways or have a boat ride. Must visit while in Shillong. This is a litter free zone- carry bags and plastic wrappers are not allowed.

Good lake with scenic beauty well maintained by Govt. The center bridge over lake was under repair. The boating was good The flowers and the scenic beauty near the lake was very attractive. Being tourist they charge you minimal Rs. 20 per head for entry and Rs. 200 for 4 people for boating for 25 minutes and it's worth doing.
