Terrible, terrible service. I was visiting guyana for business and had to see their gynecologist for an issue. First of all, Dr. Gobin was on vacation so Dr. Martinez had to see me. She barely knew a word of English and never asked any regulatory questions about prior conditions etc. she just gave me a tablet to take home and come back. Also, there’s one general ultrasound section where you have to wait all day to get one done and the ultrasound doctors are VERY ROUGH and unfriendly. I don’t know any gynecologist without a personal ultrasound in their office. POOR service and the people only care about money, there is no customer service and this is supposed to be one of the β€œbest hospitals in guyana”. Absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend to ANYONE. In fact, I think you all have a load of lawsuits coming soon with that type of patient care.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Dr. Gyan who has treated my father at the Woodlands Hospital. I can attest that Dr. Gyan is a beacon of hope for patients battling diabetes, and my family and I are eternally grateful for his extraordinary care. From the moment we stepped into his office, Dr. Gyan established a warm and reassuring environment, alleviating any apprehensions we had. His deep understanding of diabetes, coupled with his ability to explain complex medical concepts in a relatable manner, empowered my father to take control of his health. Dr. Gyan's dedication was evident in his meticulous approach to crafting personalized treatment plans, tailored to my father's unique situation. Thank you Dr. Gyan.

Generally you will receive good service for your money's worth. The local doctors are very good and once they are in will give good health-care. The newer Indian nationals - it is very hard to communicate and I have found the ones I have dealt with to be very standoffish.

Shouting out and recognizing Dr. Vikas Gyan of Woodlands Hospital. Dr. Gyan is not just knowledgeable in his diagnoses but relatable our everyday life and stories. Dr. Gyan takes the time to explain his thought processes, i.e. reasons for conducting tests, details about the ailment, and even the expectation of the treatment. He truly makes you part of the process, so you understand what is being done and why. He listens to any concerns you may have and works with you to find a mutual solution. More so, we can have healthy conversations about anything. Dr. Gyan is experienced in medicine, and in life, so he is easy to talk to. I have seen Dr. Gyan many times already and will continue to do so, whenever the need arises. Thank you, Dr. Gyan.

based on my mom’s request to see Dr Gobin who was her doctor years ago. I read the reviews cause I do give reviews on services I received. First I was worried because the front desk receptionist was very unpleasant and unprofessional in handling phone calls. However I decided and I go to see Dr. Gobin, the day I want there he was really busy but when I do got chance to see him I must say he was very lovely gentleman, he asked me questions and he was ready to rendered his service. Although he have busy day he make sure he take time at the end of his day to meet all his patients, have a chat, find out about your concerns and give a little comfort and assurance that you are going to be okay. Before his busy day began he always find the time to greet all his warded patients, this is really admirable and shows he cares for his patients and love his job. His assistant Dr. Rattan was very informative and caring as well, but it’s no surprise there I see she’s learning from the best. His receptionist Natasha is a very lovely person who smile with her eyes, I say this because I could see her smile although she was wearing a mask 😷😊 The treatment at the hospital and from the ward nurses was amazing, they were all caring , professional and treating like familyπŸ€— I will definitely return to do my annual check up and also recommended this hospital Bathrooms are always clean, cleaners passing quiet often to make sure all rooms a kept clean. Kudos guys.

When you have money and don't want to die. Rush down to Woodlands and they'll save your lives. But seriously they are helpful and always trying to fix up. Had one issue before with a wrong diagnosis but it was fixed.

First impression counts came in with an emergency case the guard began scolding me because I stopped in the wrong entrance .... the gentleman with the wheel chair continued. He offered no assistance in helping me to get the patient into the wheel chair im 5 feet tall and weight 85 lbs, the patient was twice my size. I received another scolding because i was having a difficult time. I went there because I thought that I'm paying my money and will not be treated as if I'm dumb

Every department is slow and customer service is atrocious. As much as its sick people they should be treated with respect. Better yet, be kind because they are sick. Sitting in the x-ray department for about 1 hrs 30 mins. Communicate with your patients. Let them know whats the process or whats happening. Not just sitting around clueless or depend on other patient to figure out what you should do.
