Doctors and some nurses have no manners and needs to understand people visit here to get better. They need to value lives here and stop acting as if citizens are begging for medical assistance. They are very unprofessional. I've wasted money doing alot of unnecessary tests and examinations.

This hospital needs trained doctors, my niece had c-section after 2!weeks she had to go back because the doctor cut too deep and she’s in a lot of pain. Now she’s in there they said they can’t stitch it back so they leave it open and cleanings the cut with vinegar. What is wrong with this hospital and doctors and nurses how did these people got their degree??? Messing with people life. What is the government doing about theses kind of situations MR PRESIDENT????? You need to do a better job and start looking into these doctors. That is someone child OMG

Imagine the security are the kindest and most helpful people in the entire hospital. Every time I go there, it's a bad experience. Had a really bad allergic reaction and literally got turned AWAY. Went there with a referral from my local health center and the receptionist at the xray and ultrasound section directed me to another health that doesn't even do ultrasounds any more!!! What kind of communication is this? Why is it some nurses and other workers there act like you're begging them for help and they always make you feel bad for simply asking for something? It's clear none of them like their jobs so why choose the profession?!

This hostipal is the worst place u could ever go it's so sad that people in guyana who can't afford a private hostipal has to go hear .these doctors killed my uncle and wrapped him up ,with out any concent or and family members knowing what happed to him .I have requested for his chart 5 months now and upto now our family did not receive it.theses doctors are taking money from the government and the government is paying them to be unprofessional doctors .they have no idea with what there doing .

Thank you to the staffs of GPHC for saving my grandmother's life. The hospital is very clean and provided great healthcare services. Thank you once again for treating and accepting all kinds of different patients.

07.09.2019.This place is horrid! They gave my mother insulin that sent her into cardiac arrest now shes on life support. I was on the phone when a nurse gave her insulin against her will telling her its low active, mom said no I heard her, later on that night again, now we may lose her. Only in Guyana, Guyana is not American ( where I live, just sent mom home for her 6 months.) we can't sue or complain we become the target cameras and cell phone for recording is not allowed the nurses say no FBI OR CIA BUSINESS IN HERE. A shame how they treat sick old people such as my mother how will I be able to help her now on a breathing machine. My heart is breaking I just sent her home in April. I'm so sad and hurt. she has trouble sleeping I don't want to wake her up so, she calls me every morning to say good morning and sing to me you are my sunshine my only sunshine, I'm dying. Someone please help me.

Some of your staff need some serious in-service training on customer service. There is a young Indo-Guyanese receptionist who is very unfriendly and irritable who works in the lab next door to the chest xray room. I understand that she is pregnant and perhaps uncomfortable, but that should not excuse rude and unprofessional behavior, such as rolling one's eyes and exclaiming "OH MY GODDD!" when a patient asks a clarifying question. I had no issues with the other staff, they were very nice.

Great service from overworked staff December 26th 2019 after I was wounded in an attack in the botanical gardens. The young Indian doctor did great sutures and I can hardly see the scar! Thankyou so much!

I just called the hospital get some informations about my brother because he was admitted today, they told me " i dont care where you're from, you have to come to the hospital. I was caling from the Netherlands, which i told them. Anyhow, just poor service.

The hospital have no blood , no iv fluid ,no medication and three person to a bed . I won't even call this a hospital.

I am an 11 year old . My parents and I’ve been to Dr.Balwants Singh hospital and I’ve been treated kindly and respectfully unfortunately I have been referred to the you all disorder hospital for an blah blah the nurse that is newly ther can’t even read a scale at the peadiatrick center then they sent me to another room if u see the dirty ( dutty ) bed I was grossed and wanted to go n pay my $ 12000 at balwants singh ( don’t mind my words )

Volunteer medical team often deployed from various international countries. Is a central...medical hospital that houses many modern and conventional services to our people . They provide good opportunity for training of medical students and related studies. Some conflict of interest had been aired about its general operability.
