Absolutely great food. Pastries in particular. Extremely popular, very busy in the morning and lunchtime. The cakes can run out early so definitely get in by 1400hrs to avoid disappointment. Be aware of the ticketing system if during peak times.

Popular shop with pastries, cakes, and treats. Usually a line of about 10 people waiting to get in. Everything I've tried has been fantastic--and I love knowing I'm helping support a worthy local business. A must try if in Georgetown.

Hands down Maggie’s got the best tasting pastries in Guyana. A great selection of sandwiches, salads and lunch special which makes getting healthier meals easier, especially when you are on the go. Also serves a great mauby drink. Only down side, due to the demand there is always a long queue but definitely worth the wait

I highly recommend Maggie’s cakes. I came to Guyana for a few days and it happened to be my mother’s birthday. The chocolate cake we ordered is the best chocolate cake I’ve eaten recently. It had a particular taste that I haven’t even tasted in the United States. I am happy to leave a good review for Maggie’s cakes.

Maggies is definitely my favorite bakery. They have the best cheese chicken foot (a fried seasoned dough). It's super delicious. I recommend buying it earlier in the day because it's usually sold out by lunch. I also enjoy the chicken and beef patties as well as the cheese pie. They also have some pretty good desserts as well. My favorite so far was the passion fruit cake.

Simply delicious, I just wished all of the items were labeled so I didn't have to keep asking what things were. Also, the check-in process could have been a bit smoother. I would definitely recommend.

I was anxious to visit Maggie's since I had heard such good reviews. The ambience did not disappoint. There was definitely a line out the door which heighten my expectations. They followed strict covid procedures and the establishment was very clean. We were served by one person, paid another and picked up from a third. Organized fa sure. BUT my sister-in- law who was especially excited about sinking her teeth Into those Pine tarts couldn't finish hers because she found a string and a strand of hair about halfway through hers. The salara was a bit dry even though the flavors were there. I suggest that they not precut them and have them sitting in the case. My sister loved her bun. The cheese rolls could use some more cheese. Even though I did not purchase any the cheese cakes looked tempting. I would like to giv them another chance inspite of the rating I'm giving them.

Had some nice pastry at Maggie's recently, and I enjoyed then. Pinetarts were the best I had in Guyana, better than Oasis. A little less crust, I could give it a 5. Cheesrolls, Coconut Red Bread is delicious but man, big and ugly and not like the old ways. Lack spices such as Nutmeg, vanilla or , ginger. Poor organization and system to line up and purchase. No law ans order. Guyana needs some cafes where people can sit in and that are upscale like Maggie's. Maggie is only taken out and lack fruit and black cake .

Maggie’s is a fantastic snackette with an assort of amazing food. You should go early in the morning as they run out of things by noon. Definitely recommend their egg ball, black pudding and chocolate croissants!

Really good food and very affordable prices. I especially enjoy their mother's day and valentine's day packages!

Very operated and overpriced.always get pastries there but it's not worth it anymore.started buying cheese sticks there a few months ago now they're selling half the amount in a smaller container that you can see the bottom of the container.its robbery.never again.

Great place for lunch. I got served very quickly and the food was well presented, tasty and fulfilling. The grilled fish with cook-up rice was great and I was surprised with a little complementary cookie for dessert. I would recommend extended lunch hours as not all customers eat between the hours of 11:30am and 12:30pm. However, I'd recommend them for a quick lunch if you work in the area or just looking a great meal.

This is the only place to get pastries when you're in Guyana. The cherry juice 😋 OMG was fire and the customer service that I received on 9/30/23 was the best. Guyanese are not known for great customer service especially at these type of business but this young lady was awesome. I wish I could remember her name (short, young, dark skin and very pleasant)

Great tasting cakes and pastries. However the hassle and confusion in simply picking up an order is not worth it. I found some of the employees are will to help, but they are reprimanded by management for doing so.

👍👍 We had dinner at Aagman’s last night and what a marvelous experience it was.
