I had a wedding there and was very dissatisfied with the service after spending so much money. The bartenders and servers they provided had a field day with the food and expensive liquor. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

The Sunday Brunch is worth every cent. Excellent variety and a decent blend of international breakfast with local offerings.

It's a boutique style hotel that's located just near the city (great location), the hotel is new and clean and provides great hospitality. The hotel staff is very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend this hotel to every couple, family, single, individual, American, everyone! We're already contemplating our next visit. The Sunday brunch was excellent, loved everything on the buffet. When I say the food was great I really mean it!

Staying here for my wedding. We rented out all the rooms in the complex and had the place to ourselves. The place was very clean and have people to keep the place clean and orderly while staying. They also have staff to cool breakfast and if needed lunch. Sunday's there is a brunch in there main area. Complex is gated with 24 hour security onsite. There are some maintenance issues that needs to be addressed like closet doors having loose knobs, and other minor items. For this not being a branded hotel they do a good job, not on par but it is respectable. I would definitely use this place to stay again.

My fiance and I visited Guyana during the month of September. We were having trouble finding accommodations at the main hotels (Marriot,Pegasus) due to the Cricket Carnival. We ended up staying at Parc Rayne and were pleasantly surprised. For some context - my Fiance is originally from Guyana and hadn't been back in over 15 years so we were just exploring and seeing what Guyana had to offer. The grounds and room - Parc Rayne is about 45-1hr away from the CJIA airport. The hotel was able to arrange for someone to pick us up, so that was convenient! The hotel is a quaint little hotel with a modern look. It appears they host events, such as weddings and other gatherings. However - when we went, it appeared only a few individuals were staying at the hotel. The room was spacious and modern! I will say - the bed was not extremely comfortable, but we were exploring most of the day so did not mind. There were some tiles in room #22 that were a bit loose on the floor, but again - we were too busy to bother with that. However as a suggestion - The grounds should fix this because better to fix before it breaks and causes or someone gets hurt. The grounds also had an area where you can relax outside with patio tables, chairs, and a bar area! The Staff & Amenities provided: Staff was great and very attentive! Miss Antonia and all the front desk staff did a great job making our stay enjoyable. The hotel works with reliable cab drivers which they can call to pick you up and take you wherever you need! That was a big thing for us as we did not know anyone there. There was also complimentary breakfast provided every morning. It was very tasty for a complimentary breakfast so I appreciated that. The hotel also offers lunch and dinner for a charge, but its a nice touch when you don't want to go back out to the city center for food. It was nice just ordering dinner at the the bar and watching the games! They also provided free money exchange services and laundry (2000 GYD or approx $10 USD, on site if needed. Overall a great stay! I am very glad we chose Parc Rayne as its not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Georgetown. I would definitely stay here again or recommend to family/friends. Like I mentioned - some suggestions would be for them to fix the minor fixture issues in the rooms because small fixes go a long way. Another suggestion for the hotel would be to market their hotel grounds a bit more on social media platforms and on the online presence. I was a bit unsure of what I was going to encounter upon arriving due to the lack of photos, but definitely surprised when I got there! The hotel would definitely get a lot more bookings if people saw their grounds. Thanks Parc Rayne for a great stay!

Quint little two story hotel with a homely feel. This is usually a venue for weddings and large gatherings. With only 6 rooms, space is very limited. It’s about 45 minute ride to or from the airport with little traffic. About a hour in heavy traffic. A bit pricey at about $120 per night. There is free WiFi and Satellite TV. The service is good and staff are attentive and professional. Breakfast is included on Sundays. The breakfast included pepper-pot, bake, curry shrimp, eggs to order, chicken sausage, coffee, tea, home made cherry juice, rice and salt-fish. Check-in/out can flexible depending on availability. We had a great time staying here. The do have a bar onsite with limited hours. The one con is Friday night is a dance night and the music is only feet away so it gets very loud until about 2AM. The dance is open to the public but they are restricted to the first floor. They can also call a taxi if needed.

I am a birding tour guide and had a group of 6 people stay here prior to going into the interior. It was a great place to stop! The staff are amazing and did whatever they could to help us, even though they were sometimes understaffed and it was quite busy! The staff were the best part of my stay and helped me with my group which had some food restrictions and certain demands.

A very great place to stay. It was nothing less than a homely feeling. The Owner and team are very caring. Great team work and keep it up.

Really nice place with excellent staff, very small and cosy. No swimming pool but they do have an outside bar with pool table. I would say it’s better for adults as nothing for kids to do there. The housekeeper could be a little bit better with cleaning the bathroom but apart from that it was all good. Things are not in walking distance but if you organise a taxi your self or with the hotel then you will be fine. They do a nice breakfast every morning with roti or bake with some eggs and sometimes saltfish or chicken sausage. They also do a big brunch on Sundays which is free for guests. All office staff and the girls who work at the bar and restaurant are great.

Unless you only need to spend one night here please avoid this place. The staff (with two exceptions) is unprofessional. They presently are doing reconstructions so expect some noise. The breakfast for a 4 star hotel is nothing but a bed joke. I had bread with butter, eggs and coffee. The rest was some sweet choices and leftovers from yesterday. Important to know that this is the ONLY 4 star hotel I have been in my life that has the front desk CLOSED from 6pm to 8am. If you come back late, you have to enter a specific code to enter. If you forget the code, well than good luck trying to find someone. Location is TERRIBLE. Surrounded by warehouses and next to the main entrance rode to the city. Note that city centre is 10+ minutes away with the car. I have checked out one day early, because I couldn't handle it anymore. There are minimum 3 tables with staff in the back of the reception and not a single one asked me what is wrong. Keep also in mind they charge 4% extra on credit card payment. At the end (with some food and drinks) I have paid 480$ (US) for the 3 nights. That is a complete rip-off.

The service was terrible. Internet always giving alot of trouble. Tv in bedroom wasn't working. There was a facial soap to bathe whereas hotels u get a bar of soap. Limited selection of food to choose from and small portions. Wouldn't recommend at all.

My husband and I had a horrible experience with Parc Rayne. We used them for our wedding, including catering (DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE!) Everything was nothing short of a disaster. Our food, drinks, ice, ice cream and many more things were missing. The service staff was mostly ridiculous. The bride and groom had to beg for a table to eat on, we didn't have a plate to stick our cake, we didn't even receive our dessert and many more mishaps. Half of the lighting was unserviceable, so our guests had to make out in the limited lighting available. The fish was spoilt and many of our guests complained of vomiting and diarrhea after eating. There were no pepper and ketchup with the food. The menu wasn't even what we had discussed. Additionally, the amount of times that the dessert was changed last minute because of "missing ingredients" did not help the situation one bit. To top it off, the service staff chased some of our guests off the venu even before it was time to close off. Everything was clearly communicated and planned with Parc Rayne way before the wedding day. But that was all in vain. Oh, and the cost for all this disaster was over a million dollars (just so the readers can understand the pain that we felt). Imagine being excited for your wedding day, only to leave the venue crying afterwards. The only thing that I would recommend about Parc Rayne is the spacious hall. If anyone is planning to host an event at Parc Rayne, I strongly advice not to depend on them for anything besides the space. One star because of the space

Attended a reception a few week ago and the service was horrible. The food was horrible, the fish I was served was spoilt and the chicken wasn't even bigger than my thumb. The service staff were very unprofessional and rude. They couldn't even served ice with the drinks. The reception staff had poor communication skills. I do not know who hired them. For the kind of money they are asking for I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. The 1 star is for the space.
