Great location. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. However it is not so easy to get there because you have to use a dirt road that is run down by heavy machinery. Also there is a minor trash problem but it's nothing that couldn't be solved if the interest is there.

Very nice location that could lead to a boost in tourism for the area. However it must be kept clean. If owned by the government, turn it into a park. An entrance fee would pay rangers to clean it and keep it clean.

Beautiful lake but trash is visible everywhere. Take your trash with you! There is a garbage dump close by, so you get a lot of crows.

Lovely open area. Which high and low vantage point. Views from above are breathtaking with a prestine, green blue sheen to the water.

(Translated by Google) Large area of deforestation used for mining, now deactivated, but if you look over it you will be surprised how much has been destroyed. (Original) Grande área de desmatamento usado para mineração, hoje desativada, mas se olhar por cima vão ficar surpresos o quanto foi destruído.

The view is breathtaking. If you love nature and photography or even a simple relaxing day to chill in the sun with a view, then this will be ideal. I was also informed that there are fun activities that can be done through a tour guide which includes kayaking across the lake, jet skiing etc.

The blue lake is beautiful! The water was warm, and it wasn’t overly crowded. You must be a strong swimmer because there is quicksand in steep declines when you first enter the lake in some areas. It’s a man-made, lakes, and old mining site. Unfortunately, there is a lot of trash around the vicinity of the lake and a dumpsite nearby.

Nice place to visit in Guyana's interior to see some blue water plus mountains that you can climb up. Should not swim as the water can get up to 300 ft deep. There is nothing else there to see or do, and it is a far drive from Georgetown.
