Today, after almost 10 years, I visited the temple — and I was honestly disappointed. It didn’t feel like the same place I once loved. The serene vibe is missing. There are more security personnel than actual visitors now, and most of them seem more interested in blowing whistles and scolding people than maintaining peace. What was even more surprising was that there are benches placed under the shade of trees — yet the guards don’t allow people to sit on them. What’s the point of having them at all, then? It feels like the place is being managed more like a restricted zone than a public spiritual space. I understand the need for rules and maintenance, but there’s a way to do it without making visitors feel unwelcome. phones aren’t allowed anywhere on the premises. Which, in a twisted way, is probably for the best — otherwise the internet would be flooded with videos of the rude staff.
