5/5 Stephen P. 10 months ago on Google
My
first
time
to
Zimbabwe
Africa,
Gweru.
I
found
this
hotel
when
searching
for
a
hotel
in
Gweru.
There
weren't
any
recent
reviews
and
none
of
them
were
very
thorough.
Since
I
was
limited,
I
decided
to
book
the
hotel
for
10
days.
I
was
in
Africa
to
do
missionary
work.
This
hotel
is
a
good
choice
for
a
long
term
stay.
I
can
only
testify
to
my
experience
here
and
my
needs
as
an
American
traveling
abroad.
This
hotel
welcomes
you
and
wants
to
take
care
of
you.
Now
you
can't
expect
the
hotel
to
look
and
feel
like
a
3
star
hotel
in
the
United
States.
They
simply
don't
have
the
resources.
It's
nice
and
is
100%
safe.
I
never
felt
unsafe
or
unwanted.
Safety
is
a
priority
when
traveling
abroad.
The
employees
are
loving,
kind
and
would
not
consider
stealing
anything
from
you.
Your
property
is
safe
in
your
room.
People
from
Parliament
regularly
stay
and
eat
here.
They
do
not
have
shuttle
service
to
and
from
the
closest
airport
in
Bulawayo.
They
will
arrange
a
ride
for
$150
US
dollars.
Gweru
is
about
150
miles
from
the
airport
and
a
two
and
a
half
hour
drive.
We
had
our
own
arrangements
to
and
from
the
airport.
They
have
24/7
room
service
and
restaurant
service.
Breakfast
is
included
in
your
stay
and
it
was
great!
Plenty
of
American
choices
and
meats.
The
overall
menu
is
pretty
extensive
and
the
pricing
is
good.
The
burgers
were
delicious
and
the
steaks
were
wonderful.
Breakfast
for
any
non
guest
is
$20
US
something
I
did
not
like.
I
think
a
guest
with
someone
staying
should
be
discounted.
This
way
I
can
invite
them
to
meet
me
at
the
hotel
and
have
breakfast
with
me.
But
at
$20,
no
way,
it's
too
much.
They
grow
their
own
vegetables.
Wifi
is
available
throughout
the
entire
property.
Something
I
found
to
be
amazing
considering
the
size
of
the
property.
No
matter
where
you
walked,
you
had
WiFi.
The
speeds
are
slower
but
manageable.
I
was
able
to
video
chat
with
family
and
friends.
Technology
is
not
the
same
here
as
it
is
in
the
US
but
it
works
great.
If
you're
a
TV
bum,
the
channels
are
very
limited.
They
house
and
take
care
of
their
own
workers.
They
take
care
of
their
employees
and
the
employees
take
care
of
you.
Linens
and
cleaning
of
your
room
is
daily.
I
had
no
issues
with
mosquitoes
or
bed
bugs.
Laundry
service
is
expensive
and
they
do
not
have
machines
for
you
to
use.
Everything
is
hand
washed,
dried
and
ironed.
It
cost
me
and
my
friend
$100
US
total
for
two
small
piles
of
laundry.
Management
was
going
to
address
this
issue
and
come
up
with
a
solution.
I
suggest
you
bring
enough
clothes
for
your
entire
stay.
The
area
is
quiet
at
night
and
safe
to
move
around
on
their
grounds.
Their
grounds
are
pretty
large.
You
have
covered
parking
at
your
room
for
a
vehicle
if
you
rent
one.
There
are
security
officers
working
24/7
at
the
entrance
and
they
walk
around
the
property
multiple
times
a
day.
It
feels
like
one
big
family
taking
care
of
you.
They
do
have
multiple
room
styles
and
even
a
large
suite.
I
purchased
the
cheapest
standard
room
for
myself
and
my
friend.
They
are
a
great
group
of
people
doing
the
best
they
can
with
what
they
have.
I
highly
recommend
staying
here
for
any
length
of
time.
This
is
definitely
a
place
where
I
will
bring
a
large
group
of
people
to
stay
for
missionary
work.
They
can
accommodate
and
feed
any
size
group.
Thank
you
Fairmile
for
a
wonderful
first
time
stay
in
Gweru
Africa.
Your
hotel
is
an
excellent
place
to
stay
and
eat
at.
I
will
return
and
wish
you
much
more
success
in
your
future!
