Wouldn't have been a trip to Gweru without a stop at Steers. The outside dinning, with chairs on the terrace, makes it a beautiful experience always.

Eat here at your own risk. Watched as they prepared food on the grill while attempting to 'clean' the grill at the same time, splashing dirty water on to the food on the grill and into the sauces. Disgusting.

The Greek salad was great but the chicken didn't taste good at all.

I always love the food & service. Parking space is always available and its not crowded.

There is limited space available for sit in and the service is some what slow. The food is enjoyable though it is not of consistent quality. The place is generally conveniently located on the harare-Bulawayo highway just on your way out of gweru. You can use the opportunity to refuel whilst you grab takeaway or if you are comfortable with the sit in space available, have your meal while you refresh and refocus on the journey ahead of you.

Baffled why they don't employ more staff. The service is just atrociously slow. Cashier doubles up to serve orders and also serve ice cream. Avoid the place totally if you're in a rush

My second visit to the caves. We were able to enter the dark cave as well. Quite scary if one does not like closed places. It's beautiful and serene and one can sit on the benches as they go down or come back up. Recommend that you were walking shoes such as tackies as the path can be slippery and wet. There is the Lion park about 2 km from the caves. Has 2 lions as an extra site . There is a campsite on the premises with serviced ablutions

Very little flavour. Chips were oily and partly raw. Service was slow.

Steers was great, but I just wish they had a vegetarian burger option like they do in South Africa and Eswatini.

I express great disappointment. The attendant serving me (Keisha Sibanda) was very rude, she wanted me to spend more money than I intended then on top of that wanted me the customer to look for my own change, yet buying from the snack store right next to steers the gentleman literally runs to find you that change same with chicken inn. This wasn’t the first time she’s done it, I thought maybe she was having a bad day or something other tunes when I passed through but this time I have decided not let it go. This is my go to place for food when traveling to and from Harare Bulawayo. To make matters worse she even rolled her eyes and wasn’t even friendly. I was so close to cancelling my order. Then I thought to myself customer reviews are always important... But anyway another issue....big and a health hazard..... I saw a baby cockroach roaming the steers counters. A baby cockroach means the mother cockroach is there and the place is infested. Mapete anosemesa please keep your environment clean. On my next trip again I’ll be reviewing the serving staff and these little bugs. A word of advice for the non-rude service ask the manager to serve you instead. He seemed very nice compared to Keisha

Popped in for a king steer burger and they didn't have cheese

There is no pride in the product. No upswell on g that is usual in the steers outlets, not that l like it. Wanted a small meal for breakfast the guys were still cleaning and all so l thought chips and a salad would be quick. Should have kept my money chips not fresh or badly cooked can’t decide and they didn’t have greens yet to make salad. The location is great when u traveling to get beverages and fill up your tank though. Bathroom is average but there is room for improvement.

Always impressed by Steers, staff was helpful, food was hot and tasty. Recommend the pork ribs they are quite good, fries are great (not as good as Chicken Slice😅), burgers were decent (patties were ordinary though sauces were excellent). Recommended when passing through.

It was good to reconnect to this brand that seemed to have gone dead in Harare. It offers something different from the usual chicken inn and chicken slice joints that are now common place. We were pleasantly surprised to find the service real fast despite the moderately long queues and the joint is generally clean. Ribs were good and the salad was decent though now the famous chips/fries no longer come with the famous crunch as the spice mix now comes in watchers and not fried on the chips:(

Is it a great place if you're a fan of flame grilled chicken, they save the best.

Very long queues and service was rather slow. I waited 36 minutes before I got my food. It was worth the wait though I loved the fresh food and delicious taste.

Chicken inn, creamy inn and steers in Gweru Total Garage today offered me and my school children the worst experience by refusing a 50usd note that was not torn.

Nice place for lunch and also it has nice chicken no dip fries
