The worst staff and hotel I've ever encountered in my life. I'm so surprised that Marriott allow such rude people to represent their Hotel as staff members. The rooms have a mildew smell and the food taste as if it's uncooked. So please be careful if you choose this place to stay. Please take your money to a better hotel and you'd thank me later. Don't go here!!

This hotel had the best customer service I have had in a LONG TIME!! Genesis was more than helpful by naming the local restaurants and very knowledgeable about the area. The complementary breakfast was good as well. I will go out of my way to come back to this location for the experience alone. Very quiet place to catch some z’s.

This place is very questionable. Outside looks okay. Inside lobby is dated which is to be expected from an older Hotel. But, the cleanliness of the rooms are more than suspect. I stayed in this hotel two different times. April 19 and April 24. First time, you think it's just that room. Then the next stay was even worse. And you can't even be sure the locks will stay engaged or engage at all. They made the locks supposedly automatic when you shut the door. But, it doesn't always work. And if you are a single traveler. That is not reassuring at all. If my company hadn't made this reservation and already paid for it. I definitely would not have stayed there. And don't get me started on the charges they had pending to my Credit card that never should have been there. And should have fallen off my account.

I would give it more stars because the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the rooms were pretty bad. We stayed on the first floor and we quickly realized the reason the AC was on blast was because our room smelled strongly of mildew. We even went offsite to a pool and came back with wet towels, and after two days of being hung up, were still damp and starting to smell. This can be very dangerous for people sensitive to mold and mildew. The sheets and room looked clean, but you could tell from looking at the base of the toilet that it wasn’t a detailed clean. The kids tried to go in the hotel pool, but the chlorine was so strong it was hard to breathe. The double beds are full, and they weren’t super comfortable to sleep in. They felt very small. Lastly, my curtain rod was bent, so I never touched the window. Breakfast was not terrible. At this kind of hotel, I wouldn’t expect anything more than microwaved eggs, bacon, and vegan sausage. They had fresh bagels, cereal, a waffle maker, and prepackaged frozen breakfast sandwiches with a nearby microwave. The coffee was decent. We could have sought a room elsewhere or complained but since we had such a packed itinerary, it was more trouble than we wanted to put effort in.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at before. I’m a frequent business traveler and stay in over 30-50 different hotels a year. This is the first hotel that was so poor that I felt the need to warn off others. As you pull up, it looks alright but when you get inside you’ll find it’s very dated and in poor upkeep. Beware the undercooked breakfast meats or you too will get to spend a bunch of your trip in the bathroom. At night you’ll be greeted to the public arguments and fights that fills their parking lot and front entrance area. I’m pretty sure that the woman yelling until 1am last night was an employee. The previous night it was a guy who was beating on his car trying to get a window to roll down not sure why the cops didn’t get called when that happened. The room smells of mildew and there had been an obvious electrical short in the outlet near the sink that resulted in a burn up the wall. Neither the melted outlet or the burn stain were addressed after mentioning it to their desk staff. You’d be better served finding a different hotel. If you stay here, you will be disappointed as well.

Firstly, I want to say that the lady at the front desk when we checked in around 11pm was wonderful. Our room was humid and musty, and she was very understanding and happy to move our room. She took me to check out another room to make sure it was better before moving us. Other than that first experience, this hotel did NOT meet our expectations and did not live up to the Marriott experience that I know and love. The rooms are outdated and don’t seem fully clean, but it is an older hotel. My biggest complaint is the breakfast. There were minimal options and the food was very bad. The eggs were so salty that they tasted like ocean water. Why not let people salt their own food? There were no milk alternatives for the cereal, just skim milk, which seems crazy to me because so many people can’t drink milk. And the lady who managed the breakfast area was a little rude about us putting our bags down at a table that hadn’t been cleaned yet. Additionally, the little device that scans the room key on our hotel room door died (I never realized they needed to be charged!), and we were locked out of our room. This happened twice and we were locked out for about an hour each time. At the end, they gave me a 2000 point bonus to my Marriott account for the inconvenience, which isn’t much ($20), but it was a nice gesture.

This hotel is great if your looking for an inexpensive place to stay. Rooms are clean and modern. The only thing missing was a microwave. I had to leave my room to go downstairs to heat my food. A little inconvenient.

One of the worst Marriott properties I’ve ever stayed at, and the first hotel I’ve ever checked out of within 30 minutes of checking in. The parking lot was dark and sketchy, the hallways had stains everywhere, and the room smelled horrible! At first I thought it was coming from the heater, but it turned out to be the beds. Unless they do some major renovations, HATD PASS! I was traveling with two small kids and felt so uncomfortable sleeping there, we booked another Fairfield 5 miles away, and immediately left. The front desk attendant didn’t seem surprised that we were leaving and said I’d have a refund in 3 to 5 days. We’ll see…

Rooms are old beds are horrible. Convenient to alot . The pool was super bubbly which usually means something is not right with the water. The heater in the room was broke u couldn't read the numbers so u had no clue what the heat was set at. Then the t.v was turned up high as it would go and u could barely hear it.

First room they put me in smelled like cigarettes. They quickly changed my room but this property is generally just outdated. Needs tome general updating and TLC. Staff was great but the hotel as a whole could be refreshed. At least everything was clean and the staff were great. Plus the breakfast was yummy

Similar to other reviews I've seen, this location needs a facelift. The staff was wonderfully pleasant, especially when we arrived so late at night. We had a standard king room. It's not a huge deal to me that TVs, desks, or sitting chairs are aged and aren't fresh from the warehouse, especially for a short stop like this. What I go for - like many, I'm sure - is the bathroom situation. Cracked tiles? Whatever. Loud fan? Ok, I guess. The undesirables we encountered: - Yellow, brown and black soap scum, stains, and/or mold spots in the shower. - Glass shower door with no splash guard. Two towels needed to soak it, and you could see evidence of this damage over time on the tiles and grout. - I appreciate high pressure showers, but the knob to adjust it down was broken, so I can see others having issues with this. - The closet was "open concept" immediately outside the shower/toilet room. Georgia humidity + shower humidity = very rusted shelf and rails. - A/C was only an under-window unit. Thankfully we were able to adjust the temperature and speed. But this guy struggled all night to keep the whole room cold and dry. Overall, I'd say"fine" if you're just going to be in and out for a weekend. These things are not daily cleaning tasks that the staff are responsible for; these things are just wear over time without Marriott keeping things relevant and refreshed.

They really need to update this hotel. Rooms are okay. Really missed having a microwave in the room!! I would not stay here again, unfortunately. Felt like a upper motel 6 vibe.

My sister and I stayed here overnight but room a/c WAS NOT WORKING AND LIKE A SAUNA IN OUR ROOM ALL NIGHT!!!!! Britney, night clerk, was made aware of situation but said maintenance wouldn't be there till morning and hotel was sold out. A subcontracted man was there the next day to clean all the a/c units so we asked him to come verify our problem. He could tell how hot our room was as soon as he entered! He looked at our unit, tried the breaker, and nothing still happened. He said to make sure we let front desk know so they could replace the unit (which we did). Clerk told us since we booked through a 3rd party, they could not refund us our money. We asked if we could get a voucher for a free night's stay later on. He said he would make manager aware of our situation and have him call us the next day. WE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE MANAGER NOR ANY RESTITUTION FOR OUR INCONVIENCE!!!!!!!! Only reason I gave it a 1 star rating is Britney was great to work with!!!!!!!

Read the reviews. They are not lying. Why Marriott has not renovated this hotel motel is bizarre. Felt like I was walking into a scene off Booty Talk #45. Very outdated. I was trying to be optimistic. The entrance to the room got worst. The smell, mildew, mold, cigarettes, cracked tiles, rusty elevator, rusty poles in the room, old stank carpet, peeling paint and last but not least ROACHES. The front desk was nice about the situation and let me check out minutes within checking in. Whole situation was sketchy.

The carpet in the hallway was never vacuumed. Always had dirt and paper on it. Our room had a shower that leaked all over the floor every time we used it. The sink was badly cracked. There was a hole in the bathroom wall that was badly patched. I did love the lemon water next to the breakfast bar. The staff were very friendly.

horrible hotel! I booked a month in advance and I drove three hours only for them to tell me it’s cancelled due to “over booking” in Expedia. They sent an email during check in time that day! I had a reservation for weeks! Why wasn’t it cancelled back them if your aware to be overbooked for weeks? No decorum’ such a horrible way to manage a business and won’t keep guests with that attitude!!!

Worst staff experience I've ever encountered. They were all unbelievably rude. I could barely believe these were the front desk people and not just some random individuals who had never had an intelligent or professional conversation in their entire lives.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I've stayed solo & I've also stayed with my family and every single time they have exceeded my expectations. The general manager is ontop of his game here & really cares about your hotel experience. Even the assistant manager is lovely! It is extremely clean and welcoming, the rooms are always in top shape & if they aren't they are ontop of getting you what you need for a comfortable experience. Best hotel in Gwinnett, hands down.

A well lit shower stall instead of the dark bathtub was a great surprise. The room was clean cool and quiet. No traffic noise

I love this chain of Marriott properties. Fairfield Inns usually covered everything I need. The front desk attendant who checked me in was so friendly. She smiled the entire time we was checking us in. Floor we were on (3rd and BTW there are only 3 floors) tje hall smelled of a flower garden. The air freshner was inviting and not overwhelming. Room was clean. Our shower, the water pressure, out of this world and the hot was actually hot. I loved it. On the not so satisfied part, the breakfast was terrible. No juice available just water and I think they ran out of that. The bread was hard so the only way to eat it was toasted and there were no condiments. Very disappointed. Their internet was down so we didn't get charged upon check in or check out. They had my card information written down so they could put in once system was up and running. Was not happy with card number on some random paper but she reassured that she would shred as soon as it was posted.

Dirty walls in bathroom. Could see hair in the bathroom as it had not been cleaned properly. Bed had dirt in it. Disappointment as it’s not up to Marriott standards. Moved hotels. However, spacious room and nice desk.

GM Saraphina Curtis and her staff(all) were the most professional group of individuals I have come in contact with in the hospitality field in a long time. Ms Curtis and her staff always greeted me with a smile and accommodated my extended time there!! Kudos to the breakfast staff ;housekeeping; maintenance and most of all the individuals at the front desk!!! Five star hotels need to take a page out of this hotel’s is book!! Great customer service!!

Absolutely adore this place! We had to stay two weeks, one week over our planned time due to a car issue. We are from Ohio. Management is great! Saraphina was so accommodating and worked with us financially to make sure we had a place to stay. Clean, fresh and food was wonderful. The hotel is right in the middle of everything. Quite area. Recommend! 5 stars!!!
