Nice place to stay for couple of nights. Ample size site with a few drive through so can stay hitched up overnight. Large amenities block, hot showers . Power and water at all sites ....,,, A few trees for shade in the middle of summer would be good . Yes I would stay there again when passing through.

Plenty of parking spaces for caravans. Power and water for 30$ a night. Amenities are old but clean. No on site laundry facilities but there is a laundrette few minutes drive away.

True value for money, stay. Plenty of space, quiet, power, water, easy access. Drive through, back in, front in, your choice. There was a horse event being held, but didn't effect our overnighter stay. Didn't hear a thing. Aircon on and 37 deg, so inside was a treat overnight.

Brisbane to Rocky, we were staying overnight ended up two nights! This place is clean, big spaces, so quiet, amenities were spotlessly clean, hot shower was fabulous plus power included for just $22 a night! We will definitely be back again when in the area! Whoever running this place, big thumbs up👍👍😃

Love our brief visits to this campground. Spacious clean sites, lawns mowed and ready for campers. Nice peaceful spot surrounded by huge gum trees.

One night stay on the way to Brisbane, camp grounds where easy to find and a great set up,bathroom amenities were clean and sufficient but the noise from the highway was very disturbing at night. Also woken up by construction machinery at 520am...don't stay here if you want a good night sleep.

The Maryborough Showgrounds have powered sites, toilets and showers that were extremely clean and well looked after, I would recommend this place to all. I would like to thank Ros as she could not do enough for us to make our stay so enjoyable.

Amenities really need to be thoroughly cleaned, they are very dark and look unkempt, the floor is very dirty and the mop provided to dry the shower area is absolutely filthy. I would really suggest the area have a power washer/gerney used to clean the entire space, and perhaps some sort of fragrance solution used. The toilet bowls seem to be clean enough, but the dirt on the outside of them near the floor makes the space look like it has never been cleaned. The value for a site with power is very good though. The only down side to the grounds is lack of shade.

very good clean facilities - good prices $45 for two people for two nights - SADLY RUINED BY MEAN RUDE AGGRESSIVE ADMINISTRATION because we stopped 100 meters short of the camp area and facilities to answer the phone for work and for better recption and were harassed twice in 5 minutes yelling "you can't camp here" (weren't camping in that spot just talking on the phone) accused of not paying - threatened with a security guard - all totally unnecessary - in their defence I imagine that some people have been abusing the system - but I have found that a soft answer is always best - came away with a really bad vibe from the abusive way we were treated - the admin apology below is welcome but would not need cunningly crafted comments of "safety for all" (there was no safety issue) if common courtesy and speaking not yelling at people along with false accusations of non payment arising from their clumsy check and then thinnly veiled threats of security guards - in fact a search of their own records DID show we had paid - it was no "belief" of abusive rude behaviour rather a factual account of how not to be rude and aggressive and threatening to customers then spinning the narrative to imply wrong doing

Fantastic event Rodeo, Rythym & Revs. Brilliant. Ute barrel races, horse barrel racing, calf roping, bull riding, bronc riding, best mullet competition, and more. Lots of people, great food and entertainment. Thanks Fraser coast Marborough council for advertising and making it possible.

What a fantastic showgrounds. We will definitely be back here. The Amenities are clean, liquid soap for hand washing, paper towels. The whole grounds is immaculately kept absolutely no rubbish in sight. Congratulations Maryborough Showgrounds you have done yourself proud.

The Expo Caravan & Camping Event was Very Helpful in many ways ..Lots of help in Free Camping Options Batteries Solar Panels Lithium Batteries Conectors Many offering Discounts on the day Love the RACQ Van very Helpful also answered my questions about covering my travels around Australia The Betta Home and Living group were great also in answering questions and giving good advice great demos with cooking also... Parking was plentiful and many staff to get you through the gates with ease..

Have stayed a few times now, roomy sites with water and power, quiet area. Hot showers, not very clean though, would recommend to leave your thongs on. Large off leash yard for your dog, typical of every place we have stayed, people really need to clean up after their dogs. Over all an okay place to stay for $23 a night.

Have stayed here over the last week, first time for 3 nights, left for 2 nights, had van problems so stayed another 2 nights while van repairs done. Excellent showgrounds! Very spacious, very clean amenities, friendy staff!! Will definitely stay again. Loved it!!😊🤗

Gates that are open depend if events are on, campground is fairly spacious, washing facilities could do with a lick of paint, it was fairly noisy due to Rodeo being on, quiet after the day of the Rodeo

Convenient to highway and towns. Very comfortable and clean amenties. Grounds regularly maintained staff friendly and helpful. I built a dual bottle upgrade (new regulator from Maryborough Plumbing mounted above bottle fill level) with parts from Fraser Coast Gas, Autobarn Maryborough, Bunnings Maryborough and scrap metal

It's our go to spot anytime we are heading up and down the coast so easy to use there online payment and come in when we leave brissy on a Friday afternoon... Plenty of nice food in town as well if you don't feel like cooking feels safe and clean

Displayed to the agi show. Really great show. Well laid out, lots of people, good atmosphere. The show society team made it very easy to work with them. We ran the bee section and look forward to it next year!

I love the facilities here. Beautiful grounds, green and soft. Toilet and showers were fully functional and clean. Love it.

Easy to book online. Very clean and well maintained facilities. Plenty of space to spread out between other campers. Has a fenced and secure gated play area for dogs and plenty of places to walk your furry friends around grounds However there is lack of shade on the open pitch so in Summer, if you are staying a few nights I advise to head off somewhere cooler during the day.

We camp at the Showgrounds on a regular basis and love it! There's plenty of toilets and hot showers, and even a dog park where our pooch can roam free. The council staff that clean and manage the grounds are also really welcoming and helpful, and having them drive through the camping area periodically helps keep things peaceful and safe 😊

Swap meet Maryborough has a large variety of stall holders. Mainly aimed at the petrol head minded people. From motor bikes to cars, antiques and some arts and crafts. Ample parking and a double stall is $25 with camping so you can setup the day before. The swap meet ends around 1-2 pm. Around 250 stalls with good amenities for toilets. Also camping available for visitors ($5 entrée for the swap meet) starts at 6 am.

Huge area so many powered spots lots of picnic tables and chairs. Lots of toilets and showers that were good.

Great place for a caravan and camping show with the caravan park at the back Pet friendly Park with very clean amenities.
