One of the best attractions in the city! Best experience.. a lot of photo opportunities.. wide varieties of fishing. Few things to remember - 1. It takes an hour and a half to finish everything.. 2. Best place to bring kids 3. Food/coffee/snacks are not available (at least when I visited) 4. carry less baggage with you, so that you can walk around easily HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I visited Sea Life Aquarium over the weekend. I must say that it was a good experience visiting Aquarium. This would be really interesting for the kids to know about the sea world. Tip 1: If you are travelling through National rail to London, please use 2for1 offer on tickets. Tip 2: Have a good meals before visiting Aquarium as you have to walk for 2-3 hours. Tip 3: If you are penguin lover, you should visit them before sunset. Penguin section will be dark by sunset allowing penguins to sleep.

Definitely worth the money. It's rather smaller than I expected, but still, loads of great things packed in a small space. I went on a Monday and there wasn't a lot of crowd. (Yay!) I went very slow around each of the tanks and it took me 3 hours to complete the tour. They make a good ambience in the place. The huge underwater tunnel, shark section, penguin section, jelly fish section are all great.

Sea life London aquarium is one of the must visit London attraction if you are visiting London with family or kids. Its located just beside the London Eye. For tickets always make sure you buy it in online in advance and if you combine tickets for multiple London attractions then you will get good discounts, just search London attraction tickets on Google and you will find all the required details. From the attraction perspective Sea Life is a great place to be with kids to see the water life. Shark tank, the Overhead tunnel, the Polar Adventure (Penguins) and illumination of Jellyfishes makes every penny of the tickets worth of it. There is a place where you will be able to touch the starfish, enjoyed that 😊. There is also a Virtual Reality section, but you will have to pay separately for that. You will also find the washrooms placed adequately inside. They have souvenirs store at the end of the tour, you can buy some memorable souvenirs there. You will need around 2 hours to complete the tour to sea life, so plan your visit in accordance. If you find my review helpful please hit the like button.

Had a nice time at the london aquarium with my family. Was almost closed when I got there so had to use the ‘at all time ticket’ which allows you to enter anytime they are open (for that day). The aquarium is both entertaining and educative. Saw various types of sea life from the invertebrates to vertebrates. From sea anemones to the great sharks they were all available. The various vegetation areas from the tropics to savanna to the Antarctic they were all represented either physically or virtually.

A really enjoyable and worthwhile experience. There was a great variety of different fish and the building itself was really lovely and colourful. The staff were very informative and overall, it was a great Sunday well spent! Totally recommend - you will all fall in love with the cute penguins 🐧

Mixed feelings about this place. It is useful as an educational resource to show children the variety of life in the sea. However, I do have ethical issues over containing so many fish in such a restricted area. I also wonder if screaming kids, day long piped music and absence of natural light affects them. As a Scuba Diver of 20 years and having visited some of the best reefs in the World, I'm used to seeing large shoals of beautiful reef fish, sharks, turtles, rays... etc swimming without restrictions in the open sea.

We went with our 3 year old and spent a great time there. There is a good selection of Sea-life and others, the jellyfish are beautiful. Very entertaining for kids. At the beginning you have to walk through a transparent glass ( short distance with water and fishes down there ) and personally I found it a bit scary but was able to do it ! There is also virtual reality session if you are into this and we were able to leave our buggy in the entrance for £2. Staff is very friendly . The gift shop at the end has a great selection. Overall Very good.

Really enjoyed the visit with our 1 year old! She loved seeing all the colours and fish throughout the aquarium. It was well laid out and you could clearly see everything. Would take you about two hours to go through the entire thing properly, but there are sections you can skip if you’re not interested. There was wheelchair and pushchair access throughout the aquarium so it made it easy to navigate.

Wonderful place to go to when visiting London. Lots of sea life to explore, relaxing atmosphere and ofcourse, the adorable penguins. Great aquarium for a family visit!

I was there Monday morning arrived before my time slot and was able to get in earlier. It gets busy quite quickly even in the morning and lots of kids yes. I have seen people complaining about it but come on.. I highly recommend Sea Life Centre cos enjoyed it thoroughly. Very interesting to see all these species and I easily spent almost 2 hours inside taking pictures. All the Fish tanks and enclosures looked well maintained and looked after as the animals inside. I was impressed by the Halloween themed decoration especially in the rainforest area which was one of my favourite part. Everything has description what we see and what we need to know about them. Toilet is easily accessible. If kids get bored half way there are some games through the exhibition and also family pictures can be taken and purchased. I really recommend it to visit.

One of the best attractions in the city for all time || A very good place for Kids. They will love it. Very much chances of taking photos and videos. So many attractions inside, good that there are multiple views to watch a single item also. It takes more than 1 hour to complete the viewing. 1-2 hours if a group of kids may take more time. I went on holiday so the rush was there. Better to carry some small snack items for kids.

Good outing with kids. Sharks and sea turtle were the highlights according to me. Very pretty jellyfish exhibits as well. Cute toys in the store but very pricey.

A great place to for all to visit whilst in London, although I'm a Londoner myself. Experience the wonder of many magnificent creatures from all around our glorious world as you move from zone to zone. The turtles and sharks are my personal favourite, I'd love to dive with them... but who doesn't like a penguin? A decent day out for all. I must say though, try to get some half price tickets through various websites or sometimes via offers with your credit card company, bank or even who you shop with, as the day can work out quite pricey for a family or small group once you add on extras like lunch etc. I'm not an extreme environmentalist but would add that I was quite surprised by what seemed to be a lot of plastic products available via the souvenir shop. Perhaps they are recycled plastics? but not a great look as we all (hopefully) are doing a little bit at the very least to try to save the oceans. Maybe some more eco-friendly options would of made us part with some more cash... Just a thought.

We managed to get a buy-one get half-price child ticket. It was absolutely worth the money spent and more! A really amazing display of different types of fish, all the tanks looked immaculate and the fish well cared for. Beautiful tank displays, loved all the concepts. Huge emphasis on saving our oceans which is important for children to learn. Sharks, turtles, piranhas, stingrays,so many seahorses and so much more! Including Coral Kingdom. A jungle section too and we got to touch a starfish! A large section dedicated to Jellyfish (my daughter is obsessed) so we had one very happy young lady! An Ice section with Penguins. Easy to find, right on the embankment! We hope to visit again soon!

Enjoyed my trip to the aquarium. It was very well laid out. Impressive for both children and adults. There's one major tank that you have many, many views of. My main tip is don't rush through, take your time and enjoy it. Was able to get some amazing pictures (Galaxy S20). The VR experience was actually pretty good - better than the one I went to in Seaworld in San Diego. It was £9 per person, or £14 for two, on the day. Not sure if it's actually cheaper for two to buy in advance. Definitely cheapest to buy entry tickets more than two or three days in advance, they go up closer to the day. It is a pricey day out though. In the end we benefited from having anytime tickets, but if your travel plans are fairly set, they'd work too. Plan to eat either before or after as there were only snacks in a vending machine inside. Also, use the bathrooms near the jellyfish if you need to as once you exit the shop there are no more bathrooms.

We had a lovely family day at the London Zoo. The measures they’ve taken for COVID are working well. While it was busy, it never felt crowded. You can have to pre-book one for three slots, 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm. This doesn't restrict your time in the zoo. We booked 10 am. They have three routes you can follow, and you have to wear a mask for the indoor exhibits. There is plenty of hand sanitiser foam around the park.

Really nice aquarium that is great value for money and a great way to spend time with children and family. Sea Life is in a very central location and is the largest coral reef collection in the United Kingdom. Plenty of sharks, smaller fish insects and all sorts of wildlife from around the world. Impressed by the penguin sanctuary. They have room.to dive and swim and you are able to see them from close up. A nice addition is the VR station where you can experience a natural disaster via VR goggle. :) The staff were very friendly and coordinated good social distancing measures. Very friendly senior member of staff told me that Sea Life have been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to keep the doors open for the public during this pandemic. He made us feel very welcome and told us there is no rush to exit and we can go back and forth the exhibits. A nice gift shop is located close to the exit with nice souvenirs such as fridge magnets 3 for £10. Really nice experience. This is somewhere you can.spend a good part of the whole day. 5 stars well deserved. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

A good day out and worth seeing if not been before. Once done, it’s quite a linear route - you have pretty much covered it in an hour and then that’s it. Can be pricey so do look out for discounted tickets and offers. A good variety of sea-life.

This is my 5th time visiting London Aquarium and still very much enjoyed it. Plenty to see and learn. Buy tickets in advance as it is much cheaper and no queues. My advice is to print or save copy of tickets as phone service is very poor in the area, that makes it challenging to access emails. Site has toilet and baby changing facilities. There is also a step free access, for buggies you have an option to leave it at reception or take a long, however expect some ‘traffic’ if you do decide to take it along.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The tanks were set up really well. The layout is well done allowing you to see into some of the same tanks from multiple angles and levels. The shark tank was massive and seemed to be a huge draw to everyone. The jellyfish zone was really neat and the tank lighting helped you see their details. I could go on... but if you haven't been, I highly recommend it!

We booked the Penguin Experience. Really fun and interesting - highly recommend! The penguins were lovely and very friendly. 25 minutes in the penguin enclosure included meeting the penguins and having the chance to feed them their lunch. Chatting to the guide/carer/zoologist of the penguins about his role, caring for the penguins and the penguins elevated the experience.

Merlin you knock it out of the park again! This is a sure great place! The kids enjoyed the underwater adventure that is the SEA LIFE London Aquarium! The array of underwater creatures you have is wonderful, from the small to the giant, you have so much to look at and so many things to see and do! Staff (Rangers) were interacting with the kids and giving them all kinds of fun facts as well as ranger cards. Cons: the security check is so long to get in despite them not checking anything. Had two bags and they asked to open the small zipper and nothing else. What’s the point if you are not checking!

A very well organised system with the sanitising and hand washing sinks in each room and more access to toilets and a security who keeps a eye on customers to follow the 1 way walk through system, no turn backs! To be honest I felt a little restricted but i guess it is what it is. Also I find that trying to social distancing in the aquarium was a bit hard to do so here as many may be watching the same fish/attraction and the crowd will start to gather. It was nice to be in the aquarium where it wasn't as busy as it would normally be, more free time for sure . The venue still brings a magically atmosphere as you walk through the underworld.

Visited Aug2021. Pre-booked tickets as part of the multi attraction offer. Got in after 5 minutes of queuing. Not very busy. Amazing experience for the whole family especially the tunnel and the jellyfish. Lots of viewing points for all to enjoy. Plenty of toilets and sanitising points. Gift shop at exit.

The Sea Life Centre had so many sea creatures. I didn’t imagine that they could have as many creatures as I found there. The centre is also carefully designed to guide you through each massive aquarium so you go from small creatures to large. I even got to touch a Starfish! There are seahorses, starfishes, sharks, jellyfishes, penguins and all sorts of sea animals there. I totally recommend this location for lovers of adventures! 💯

Great attraction for children and adults. Lots of interesting sea creatures to see. Buggies can move around just fine and there is a lift to take you to each floor. Toilets and baby changing facilities on each floor. You can buy tickets in advance but you have to specify a time. It will save you time and a little bit of money if you are going on a weekend. If you are visiting on a weekday during the day you can easily buy tickets there. Try and visit before sunset so you can see the penguins as well. Biggest fish to find are the sharks and the turtles. Amazing jelly fish. If you are going with kids takes snacks and water as you can take 2 hours to go around if you are interested in everything. Overall, worth the visit and recommend it!

Amazing experience, worth every penny! Everything is so big and clean, we really enjoyed it. Plus, there are species we've never seen before, so we were extra amazed, like giant sea turtles, various shark species, jellyfish...! :) The staff was super friendly and we got to touch the star tentacles 🤩

We loved this aquarium!!!! We always stop at aquariums when we travel and this one of my favorites. Very immersive experiences and really nice displays. We purchased tickets for timed entry of when they opened and it was great! There was no wait and we didn’t have many people around during our experience.

The London Sea Life Aquarium is great. There’s a great range of fishes, a few tropical species and penguins! There’s a large central tank, which can be seen on all levels. This has different types of sharks, stingrays, giant turtles and much more. The virtual reality experience was good, but not something I’d be interested in doing again. It gave a minimal insight in to the life of sharks. We visited during school holidays, it was extremely busy and overcrowded. We had to move on quickly, as it felt dangerously overcrowded at times. This meant we weren’t able to see everything the aquarium had to offer. We were in and out within 2 hours, and so it did not feel like value for money.

I recently visited Sea Life London, and I was truly captivated by the mesmerizing underwater world they have created. The diverse marine life on display is not only breathtaking but also educational. From the vibrant coral reefs to the graceful sea turtles, every exhibit is a feast for the eyes. The knowledgeable staff were passionate and eager to share their expertise, making the experience even more enriching. It's a fantastic place for families, couples, or anyone looking to escape into the enchanting world of the ocean. I left with a newfound appreciation for our planet's aquatic wonders. Sea Life London is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a memorable and educational adventure.

Great place! We were delighted with the space and the opportunity to see many predators up close standing eye to eye with them. Clean! Great points with containers, where you can experience all sorts of atmospheric phenomena or feel, for example, like on a glacier Two downsides: I don't understand why you have to stand in a long line to enter if you have purchased tickets online in advance; in places inside, congestion forms due to very narrow passageways.

It was a wonderful experience. My nearly 2 year old son was so excited and loved every bit of it. There is so much to watch and so much to learn. You can't get bored there at all. Our favourite were watching the sharks, turtles and of course the cute penguins. For my son I think it loved everything. We spent around 2 hours there and the time just flew by so quickly. I would definitely recommend a visit to the London aquarium

(Translated by Google) I take 1 star because of the photos they take of customers at the entrance in poses that make them stand and then ask for 22 pounds for them, otherwise it is good and there are many marine, beautiful and interesting species. One tip: don't let baby strollers get in there, because even without them it's very cramped and full of people you can barely get along with ...

Been in other aquariums in different cities in the uk but by far this is the best. We had an amazing day both adults and kids enjoyed it, our two years old became obsessed with shark after our visit as he really enjoyed watching them. They have some other activities for kids for extra cost like face painting and virtual reality, our kids liked both of this activities. Definitely worth a visit and the money as you can easily spend few hours there.

I was a bit disappointed. it looked dirty in some areas. COVID situation is not taken serious here, lots of crowded places I felt bad near the end because it was hard to breathe. I couldn't see the penguins part because there were crowds there all the time. It wouldn't hurt to have more separations in the aquarium. Overall it was alright. I guess Lisbon aquarium really set the bar high for me.

Whilst I’ve been to London many times before, this was my first visit to the Sea Life centre. What a great experience. So much to see here and the fish and marine life on show, as well as bugs and other creatures are fantastic. One thing, don’t try and find me off with a dogfish pretending it’s anything more than a salmon in a shark suit. Tonnes of them off the coast of Wales, mun! But no, in all honesty, great day out had by all. Would recommend.

For the price you pay you would expect it to be a lot bigger than it actually is. The sharks enclosure was the biggest one. They have a range of fish, however when you get to the penguins you end up feeling so sorry for them as their enclosure is so small and fake. They are however quite entertaining. My child aged 5 did get a little bored but perked up when he reached the petting area where he got to touch a starfish. I found the jellyfish fascinating, Overall I wouldn’t come again but it was nice to have experienced it.

Honestly If it wasn't for the kids I would have been in there so much longer reading everything. The piranha's were awsome!!! The gift shop is not as expensive as you would think. Amazing experience for kids all ages ! Amazing animals and explanations about them, the most favourite of my boy was the jellyfishes, all in colourful tanks. The outstanding moment was in one side of the tank the turtle marine appeared alone front of us! My little boy was completely excited!! Definitely a great experience for the kids also adults!!

went on valentine's day so obviously loads of couples but the amount of kids was INSANE. i'm not sure if it was half term or something but it was quite annoying to navigate at times so consider carefully the date and time you'd like to come. i booked my ticket for 2pm and we weren't allowed to even join the queue until 2 which i thought was wrong because then you don't actually enter until about 2.15 and you technically have limited rime in there although no one checks i think. the staff all seem super knowledgeable, friendly and cool and very eager to answer questions. i particularly enjoyed a talk happening in the round room with the boat. :) they have a lovely large variety of animals who seem mostly healthy (bar very few randomly laying on the bottom or looking a bit nibbled, but fish are weird like that), particuarly loved the sharks and penguins! also sooo many cool stingrays! it was clean and tidy inside. it is very very very kid-oriented so keep that in mind! as a student, i'd consider it overpriced but it's a popular attraction in central london and i can only hope they use their profits to help the creatures :) would go again if there was a discount of some kind And i was sure it wouldn't be full of kids

We visited as a family of four (2a, 1c, 1i). We had a great time and loved the different sections breaking up the animals into where they are from. Could have sat for ages just watching the sharks, fish and jellies as so therapeutic. It was very busy and unfortunately people are the issue. A lack of control over their own children and just no consideration for the duration is a difficult thing to contend with. We usually always visit places like this typically at quieter times but didn't have the option this time so it is what it is but never again haha!! The price of the tickets are pretty obscene and should be reviewed as it's such a wonderful thing for kids to experience but so many families won't be able to afford it. £121 for us to visit. Ouch! It is a great day but very pricey. Would like to make a special mention for Sam on the ticket desk for going above and beyond to help us! The best customer service we could have asked for and literally saved the day and our plans!! Also I think it was Ariella possibly who did the talk by the sharks and taught us things we didn't know. our daughter loved Ugly Betty and we thank you for the keyrings!!

Great day out! Visited with a group of people in their 20s and was originally worried it might be a little too kid-focused for us to enjoy, but the exhibits speak for themselves, and they let you tap into your inner child, too. It really blows you away with the scale of some of the animals. I reccomend coming early in the day if you want to beat the crowds; we went at 12:00 on a weekday and it was a really chill experience!

I was disappointed. Wanted a special day for 2 year old. Small. Animals looked ok but bored. Not as child friendly as I had hoped. Children small animal area had 2 black sleeping rabbits. 2 sleeping pig's and dome goats. I don't have to spend over £100.00 to see . I can do that at a local farm for much less. The tube station was not child or buggy friendly on a Sunday. Will not repeat this. Will find local farm .

Post lockdown there is very little to see in the Zoo. Most interior locations like the reptile house, aquarium and butterfly enclosure are closed... as are most of the events. That being said, it is very easy to spend all day here and enjoying every moment in this small corner of London. When lockdown truly lifts and they open up everything, it will more than meet your expectations.

Underwhelming compared to some international zoos I've visited and even compared whipsnade, its sister zoo. Appreciate it is a very old zoo and is limited on space. It's nice to see some of the original buildings preserved - same as whipsnades elephant house. Lovely to see a 4 lions and a tiger close up and the open enclosures of birds, monkeys and limas etc very entertaining, but other areas/exhibits are very disappointing - the outback has 2 emus in a distant pen and about 4 wallabies next to a disused (but renovated?? Cafe). Some of the smaller enclosures dont show on the map and the show times mean you have to go back and forth across the site instead of being in a logical order like at whipsnade. The talks were often. Very short and sometimes quite disappointing, whereas whipsnade the staff talking seemed more knowledge and enthusiastic. Also quite expensive. We went with tesco clubcard vouchers covering most if the entry fee...until you add on the conservation donation, £14.50 to park (on street parking limited to 4 hrs- although parking was still cheaper than the train!) And £20-25 on 2 pizzas, 2 cookies and a drink for lunch....and the gift shop (a one off treat for kiddies) set us back £35 for a toy Lima, a book and a baby onesie. Its lovely to take our daughter to see the animals and learn/teach her about conservation, but some of it is very overpriced for a small zoo.

Really good but it was extremely crowded, especially where the large tanks were. There was a vr experience where there was a massive queue but you couldn't get through it unless the employees moved them but obviously that's not the employees fault. All of the fish were really cool and I loved the jellyfish exhibit

Great experience and very good atmosphere. It's absolutely recommended to visit with kids/family. Otherwise, it's suitable for single visitors and couples as well of course but it's definitely shaped a lot for kids taste, interactive learning and fun. Personally, I've enjoyed it a lot with my wife and did not regret that we've booked during the COVID times. Less crowded, more to see. Also, just for booking online we've got 20% off the full price.

  • 4/5 Ian T. 3 years ago on Google
We got the cheap tickets that you get with a train ticket. Glad we did, had we paid full price it may have brought a year to my eye. The place was great but not worth the full price. All the exhibits were great, penguins, sharks and jelly fish stand out. Leaf cutter ants also awesome. Only problem is once you are in some of the queues are 10-15 minutes which with a toddler is taking it to the edge.

  • 4/5 Iain W. 3 years ago on Google
The attraction itself is very good, yes it's quite pricey but being in London and the conservation it deals with will bump the cost up. Some very good exhibits (if that's the right terminology) and additional information about the creatures and their habitat. The downside was a lack of social distance adherence, not entirely down to the staff, but not monitored that well. Possibly letting too many in doesn't help but they need the trade. Would return again when all this has settled down in the future.

(Translated by Google) This is a place you should definitely visit if you are traveling with children. On a scale, it is close to Sumida Aquarium, but the decoration and exhibition methods in the aquarium are quite different from those in Japan, so I think adults can enjoy the difference. Due to the corona, online reservation is required and the schedule can be changed 3 times online. Also, it was reasonably vacant. If you're going by stroller, you'll need to make a big turn from the Jubilee Park side (the park near the London Eye), not from the stairs near Westminster Bridge. Currently, there are temperature and baggage inspections at the entrance. In the case of a stroller, take a lift to the basement and go up from there. Roughly speaking, the flow was fish → shark → sea anemone → piranha → penguins → jellyfish → souvenir shop. I loved it! OK, it is not the Biggest aquarium, but it is spread on two floors, so that's not bad, I guess. They have this short underwater tunnel, and honestly I sent 10 min there just starring above me :D The bottom floor was my favorite thought. It was like a walk in the jungle at twilight there. I don't want to give up all details, but you do feel for a minute like if you are in a another world. But they should really fix the penguin enclosure, looked very sad and plane.

An amazing place to spend time with family and loved ones. It was also a wonderful experience loaded with fun and joy. The aquarium journey lasted for 90-100 minutes by keenly observing each and every animal. They've different species of marine and land living animals. For instance penguin, jellyfish, different kinds of shark and fishes of different kind. A must visit place if you are travelling with kids. I would recommend this place to every individual who's visiting London for the first time. You can even feel the starfish and corals by touching them at the dedicated area where the staff would help you with some advise and its of great knowledge. You get to click pictures inside by the dedicated place where they'd ask you to pose based on the situations and these photos could be collected at the exit. Prices for the photos range from 20 pounds for 3 photos and 15 pounds for 1 photo. Since its located very close to London eye, they provide a combo ticket which includes a ride on london eye and a trip to shrek's adventure too. Rating 5 stars without any second thought and Would say it's worth the price!!!!

Really big place, there's so much to see and touch if you want to. There was a virtual sea experience which was about £3 I think. Also got to touch some starfish which was cool. There was jellyfish, penguins, snakes, crocodiles and so much more.

We have visitors the aquarium several times and we love it, last time we visited much of the aquarium was boarded up due to some work being done, we were a little disappointed as we had to pay full price for a ticket and were not told this. This time, our faith was restored, the work they had done was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it, our son was amazed and we spent such a long time enjoying everything that we were able to look at. The only disappointing thing is the penguin enclosure, it’s such a sad enclosure, the penguins never get to see natural light as the enclosure is underground, it was really sad to see as penguins aren’t like fish, they don’t spend their whole lives under water, they do see natural light in the wild, this upset my young brother.

  • 3/5 Hafsa T. 3 years ago on Google
We visited Sea life on 13th Dec. Our son absolutely loved it and we have no issues about the attraction itself. Well worth the money spent. However there was absolutely no concept of social distancing once inside. There were clear signs on the ground but no one paid attention to them. There were frequent announcements encouraging social distancing but again no one cared. At one point, we stood in a queue to move up to see the sharks. And when we turned to head back there were at least 20 people packed up behind us, like a tin of sardines. The staff did patrol certain sections but I thought they should have been more assertive about social distancing. I understand kids not adhering to these rules but parents should know better ! In comparison, Whipsnade zoo had a designated member of staff for every enclosed area and in all areas that anticipate a crowd building up. And they sent people in batches. There was no such system here unfortunately. Sure, visitors should know how to conduct themselves but I think more strict social distancing rules should be enforced. It's not impossible. It's done everywhere else. We would certainly visit sea life again, but not until we see the end of this pandemic - however long that takes!

Went to the aquarium with my 4 year old just after the school holidays were finished. Overall was a great morning. Wasn't overly crowded and there were a few queues mainly at the tunnel through the big tank. The setup is really good with two massive tanks that you go around with lots of different views into them from different angles and levels. We also got to touch a star fish which was a lot of fun for my son. Is a very expensive experience and you do basically walk around it all once. Would have been nice to be able to do the route around more than once but not sure if this is due to covid restrictions or just to increase capacity.

Take advantage of less tourists in London to visit. Very educational, great for kids & projects. I loved the jelly fish & amazon area. Very responsible, so size of fish & sharks match the space given.

Went today for my daughters 2nd bday. We had an absolute blast. Great size tanks and lots of ledges to sit or stand on for little people. Lifts available for buggy access and multiple toilet facilities and baby changing. Overall just an all round brilliant day out.

Lovely day out with the kids. They've so many sea life from the amazon rainforest, under the sea and the North poll. They also have a little snack bar if you need a snack. You can also touch baby starfish and buy cool accessories.

Great experience for all the family, specially the very first part, when walking over glass pane with Sharks swimming below🦈 Perfect location next to other attractions and close to Westminster Subway across the bridge. Advisable to prebook during school holidays.

Loved it! We also did London Dungeon and Madame Tussaud’s that day. The aquarium was by far the best attraction.

  • 5/5 Timilehin F. 2 years ago on Google
It was a good experience. There were a lot of aquatic animals. It was sad I went in the evening and some were already asleep but it was still a surreal experience

Have a family friendly layout, have lifts and all facilities (toilets, etc). There's 2 big aquarium one with sharks, and another with stingray, sea turtle, fishes. There's quite alot of smaller aquarium but variety is not that great. The section with jellyfish/penguin is really nice. I know it's middle of London but i think it's just a little overpriced.

A beautiful and well kempt place with well kept/protected, and nurtured creatures. Temperature required for the survival of these creatures are being maintained as seen in the session for the penguins. It's really an adventure and a way of learning. Easy accessibility and navigation. Also, souvenir session is available at the end of the journey.

The place is full of sea animals of all kinds. Those who do not have an ideological problem with such places can greatly enjoy. I had a hard time with the fact that the whole structure is very narrow and I often felt very suffocated.

After years of living in London I finally visited this quite popular attraction. To be honest it is worth all the money. The place is huge and it is an amazing experience.

  • 4/5 Abhishek K. 2 years ago on Google
Well preserved and presented for the guests. You can really feel the vibes of sea life. VR was also good and informative.

This is a great experience for people at all ages. We've been here a couple of times and everyone was enjoying it. It's one of London attractions that needs to be on everyone list. If you are planning to spend a family day out in London then you should definitely include London Aquarium on your list. The process is very smooth if you buy your tickets online. You then show up at the chosentime, present your tickets and after a quick security check you are on your way. There is no rush, to time limit and you can do the tour at your own pase. My advise: take your time and enjoy it 😉.

Our son is fanatical about sharks so we always visit the local aquariums when on holiday. The London Sealife is worth a visit, the creatures are similar to other sites but the decor and scenes are brilliant. Worth getting the multiple attraction tickets as lots in the immediate area to do and makes it much more affordable.

Nice, but glass not new, you can't see everything so clearly like you want to.But it's a good experience! You will see interesting animals forsure. Fairly price could be 20£, not 30£.

I went for Nostalgia's sake, I remember it being bigger the last time I visited. It would be a nice place to take kids though. Highlights were the sharks and the penguins. Some of the enclosures seemed a little small.

Bought the tickets to London eye and sea life as a package - we were totally glad we visited sea life. You need almost 2-3 hours to see everything. What a fun way to learn about sea life, reptiles, insects and what not! There are penguins in there too 😍

  • 3/5 Alice L. 2 years ago on Google
Fab because we went off peak, but I imagine it gets really busy. If it was busy I imagine it being quite tight and claustrophobic because it is really hard to avoid other visitors. Great location on southbank so get to do a nice walk to and from the attraction and easy to move to other places in London afterward and make a day of it. 1 way which is good, but means you can only walk around once. It probably takes 2 hours if you're taking it slow so okay for a morning or afternoon activity. Nowhere to stop for a snack or anything on the way round, so not as child friendly as some of the others. This may have been an alteration made post covid. Large selection of fish and the penguins were a cute touch too.

This has been on my list for ages and I finally went and it exceeded my expectations! Absolutely loved looking at all the sea creatures and even touching a star fish which was CRAZILY AMAZING! The jellyfish were beautiful and the illuminating light in the tanks really accentuated them. I just loved everything about this experience and I can’t fault it at all. 10/10 would recommend!

Worth every penny. We went a few years ago and I remember it didn't last very long, but today we took our 3 and 5 year olds and they loved it! Lots of viewing areas to see so many fish, sharks, turtles, rays and more. My older daughter got to touch a star fish too! It took us over two hours to see everything, so we felt it was well worth the cost. The kids learned a lot and were really excited the whole way through.

Enjoyable 90 minutes with the kids during a few day trip to London. The huge tank with sharks is very impressive and there's lots else to see. Expensive - but all the family enjoyed it.

Great place to visit! Finally an aquarium that is worth the money!!! It is beautiful, can be quite busy, people and kids seem to have no sense of direction or manners here, however this is not the fault of the aquarium!! Staff are fantastic, they are well informed and they won't hesitate to answer any questions you might have. They have a great selection of different sealife, and the jelly fish are really sensory and would be great for children with autism. There are sharks and also a penguin! Personal favorite was the giant sea turtle. If you haven't done this I would definitely recommend bolting it on to your day out!

Amazing aquarium. Plenty to see with experts nearby to provide information on the beautiful sea life that you get to see.

  • 5/5 Emma B. 2 years ago on Google
Brilliant aquarium, lovely staff. We had our trains cancelled due to weather and the staff were very accommodating by letting us enter the day after. It’s a beautiful aquarium for all ages and a lot of interesting information about all of the their wildlife. It starts off a little busy depending on when you go but as you walk through the crowds disperse more and everyone gets a chance to see everything. Thank you!

  • 4/5 Natalie S. 1 year ago on Google
A brilliant attraction which entertained my 3 children (2, 9 & 13years). It was very busy which meant we either queued or rushed passed certain parts to avoid the crowds. Each section has been thought out to include fun activities, facts and a range of sea life. We used the buggy park but in hindsight wished we kept hold of it as it was all accessible and the little one did get tired legs! Worth a visit for sure though.

  • 5/5 Jamie M. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely fantastic! Could have spent far longer in here but had tickets for another attraction so could only spend an hour. Its changed massively since we last visited, about 5 or 6 years ago. The penguins were a real highlight, as were the turtles in the main attraction.

  • 5/5 manish t. 1 year ago on Google
Very good experience. You can spend about 2 hours here with kids and family. I love the tank where they have kept sharks, there are at least 5 to 6 different spots for you to see the sharks. Then there are multiple fish tank with massive variety. The other sections are one for gelly fish, one for virtual reality experience, one for penguins and then you also get to touch Star fish. There are toilets inside and quite clean. Good few hours spent with family.

The aquarium has improved from the last time I went. It's a lot bigger than I remember. Has two large tanks and several smaller tanks as you go around. Contains good information for children of a school age and my toddler loved it. Singing baby shark all the way around. It is expensive to get in at £35 per person and you'll probably be there around an hour. We went during the week and it was quiet but it will get busy on weekends

  • 5/5 gai L. 1 year ago on Google
It’s really good for family or anyone who like sea life. Especially penguins are incredible! They also have several donate point to rescue some animals, and lots of educational opportunities! They also have set ticket with London eyes and other amenities, we had really good experience!

Fabulous place for ALL ages! Never expected to be amazed by fish, but here we are. Huge variety, tanks are super clean and fish all look healthy (yes I've been to some that were a little concerning). Walk through / walk over, shark tanks... AMAZING! Highly recommend this place to everyone!

  • 5/5 Leandro C. 9 months ago on Google
Nice place to visit, it has many species of fish, you take about 2h to see everything. It has toilets, shops and places to buy food. If you have kids they are going to love it! I recommend going on weekdays, I think it would be less crowded.

  • 5/5 Hannah O. 9 months ago on Google
Lovely aquarium with amazing fish the penguins were amazing to see. Staff were super friendly. For the added price you can use a VR headset which I would definitely recommend. A bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Will be back

We went there to celebrate a birthday and it was amazing. It takes a little queuing to get in but once you’re in you are free to walk wherever you want to. They have a nice collection of fish and it was so exciting. The penguins were goofy.

  • 4/5 Clare R. 9 months ago on Google
Went during half term. Wait times were ok and we were able to enter a little earlier then ticket time. Lots to see took a 2yr, 4yr and 6yr old and they all loved it. We had two pushchairs and had no trouble getting around. A shame adults don’t make space for children to get to the front but that is shame on them. Staff were helpful and friendly. You exit through the gift shop 🤦🏼‍♀️ which is a little expensive. There is an icecream stop before penguins but not really anywhere to sit and eat them. Very very little seating areas. It’s a one way system and we were in there (inc shop) 2hrs.

Amazing place, lovely sea life experience and lots of information on all the creatures we saw. Got to touch a star fish and watch Penguins swim about, along with see other sea animals that were very interesting! Amazing tanks full of them and lovely to hear about them all

We had a great time watching a variety of fish, penguins, poisonous green snakes 😍👍 at the sea life in London. Sea Life is next to the London Eye. You can go to Shriekh Adventure & London Dungeon too so please keep track of your time when purchasing tickets as it takes one & half hours minimum time to visit these places. When you enter see life you get to see sharks moving underneath as it has a glass floor a great experience. A variety of shark tanks are there. Children love this place as it is crowded with kids. Inside restrooms are there too. The jellyfish tank changes colours it looks so beautiful 👌. Variety of live corals a treat for eyes. Another great attraction is the penguins they walk, they play around just making their video I felt so happy ❤️. You get snacks inside sea life too. To reach sea life one can take an underground metro by crossing the Westminster Bridge. So I will recommend everyone to go to sea life if visiting the London Eye 😍

Visited a few weeks ago and it was a very pleasant experience, the aquarium is much larger than I expected and very immersive. A beautiful array of sea life and reptiles were on display and I had a great couple hours exploring. Student tickets were a nice touch to, and overall I’d recommend this aquarium to all ages.

An amazing experience for the whole family! Well explained and there were some interactive spots around that kept everyone entertained. Some tanks had scratched/dirty glasses, but that wasn't a major problem for us. There should be a seperate line for fast track ticket holders, we had to wait for a few minutes.

  • 3/5 Harry B. 4 months ago on Google
Ok, this experience only takes 1-2 hours so not a full day out. Nice range of sealife and well designed. I would advise arriving at opening and booking in advance as it can get very busy. No onsite cafe but plenty nearby. Nice gift shop at the end. Average.

  • 4/5 Daryl Swaby (. 4 months ago on Google
Depending on the time you go it can be really busy, the longest wait we had was to see the shark tank and the group of "people" making videos of the penguins. Good experience just really busy. Worth the trip

loved walking around and looking at all the animals. also loved the 1p wheel machines to turn them into patterns; perfect, cheap souvenirs. i would recommend going during quieter times so you can see everything properly but was still a good experience.

  • 4/5 NMA 2 months ago on Google New
This is great for children. As the crowd was rather large and the spaces inside were small, it was better to go when fewer people were around. I found the penguin section a little depressing. It was small and dingy. The selection of sealife was wide, I would have liked to an octopus, squid, shrimp, fanworm, or crab. Activities along the way to keep children interested, toilet facilities readily available. No cafe, but a pitstop for drinks and snacks. There were photo opportunities, personal and professional. The VR experience was good, a nice addition and it was £9 for one person and £14 for 2 people. Go when crowds are low.
