I recently dined at Hills edge Restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The flavors of the dishes were an explosion of authentic Indian tastes. Awesome food and ambience. Perfect for romantic dates. You can ask for outside seating. I loved the food presentation for all the dishes. Very fancy place. It is one of those few places in Simla with a wide variety of food. I've been to this place a couple of times. They never fail to satisfy our taste buds. All items that we ordered were great and flavorful. Sometimes the service might get slowed due to more crowd but most of the time the food will be on time.

Bill no. 1883 date - 29/07/22. Table no. 83 Ordered the following- 1. Non vegetarianTandoori platter - was supposed to have tandoori chicken, chapli kebab, malai tikka and fish tikka according to the menu what I was served was seekh kebab, chicken tikka fish tikka and malai kebab. The entire platter was nothing but overcooked and dry meat a complete waste of money and they've highlighted it as a signature dish. 2. Zafrani kofta- according to the description on the menu the dish was supposed to have paneer kofta safron in tomato gravy, instead was served potato kofta in malai kofta gravy, the koftas were average but weren't what was expected since the dish described on the menu never reached the table and it's supposed to be the signature dish. 3. Mutton rara- I've never eaten a worst mutton dish in my entire existence frozen under cooked mutton, god knows how many days old served in a mutton keema gravy that had no taste despite of so many masalas present and above all was under seasoned and lacked salt. A disaster dinner to sum it up, "Unchi dukaan feeka pakwaan'. Avoid this place at all cost even if they invite you for a free meal and if you do end up eating here do not order any signature dish, I repeat DO NOT cause the chef apparently has no clue what the description of the dish reads in the menu. The only positive was that the staf was well trained, polite and courteous.

I spent three days at the Hotel Marina and mostly had dinners there at Hills Edge Restaurant. The staff is really accommodating and modest. The cuisine is also pretty good. The atmosphere here is too pleasant. If you prefer non-vegetarian meals, butter chicken is a must-recommend dish. I'll also suggest paneer makhni and dal makhni for vegetarians.

We spent two nights here. The food was good with wide range of options. Excellent service and the friendly staffs who attended us gracefully for all the queries. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who is planning to visit this place . Overall a satisfying experience.

I have been there for my business meeting and earlier for my orientation during the placement. I must say that the service, the stay facility, the food and the overall maintenance of the hotel is really awesome. I had a great experience there.

Service boys are bit lax in services, before and after order is served waiters do not keep watch what a customer may require e.g. repeat , water etc. I had to ask for finger bowl after dinner ideally which should be after table clearance. Thus staff needs to be hospitable. However ambience and food was good to compensate.

Stayed at Hotel Marina for 3 days and mainly had my dinners here at Hills Edge Restaurant. The staff is very receptive and humble. Also the food is really delicious.
