This hotel has the facade of being lavish and comfortable, but everything about it was a disaster on our three night stay. It is hard to explain every single problem, but at almost every turn you make, there is something wrong with this place. First, read all the negative reviews that warn about the disastrous bathrooms: the designer must have been a 7-year-old who made it a point to place the shower right next to the toilet so that when you shower, the entire toilet and bathroom are drenched in water, making for a disgusting experience. Second, the faucet on the sink is about 2 feet above the sink bowl, so each time you wash your hands or turn on the faucet for any reason, your clothes gets completely wet. Every single time. Third, the food at the restaurant was atrocious: we ordered the "braised pork" which had an awful smell, which I can only attribute to rotten meat. Fourth, the spa is absolutely dirty, as some guests have noted: dirt, spider webs, and an awful odor permeate the whole experience; it seemed like it has not been cleaned since Tet of this year. Fifth, you only get two outlets in the room, one of which is used for the reading lamp, which means you only have one outlet to charge your devices. ONE. I must say that at first, I felt the staff was the saving grace of this horrible place, but then I was stunned when "Jade" asked me how my stay was going, and I gave her a description of all the problems only to have her ask me to please not disclose these problems on any review sites. This to me is probably why negative and HONEST reviews have not been given on these sites. When we were leaving, Jade was trying to force other guests to leave five star reviews, some of whom I could tell were disgusted. Some of the reviewers mentioned this strategy of the hotel to try and manipulate guests to lie about their experience. I find reviews to be an ethical responsibility of travelers, and when hotel managers tell you to hide or lie about your stay, they are unethical and that leaves for a bitter sour experience. They should feel ashamed and humiliated for using this strategy. I do not recommend this hotel. There are too many options to deal with a hotel that wants to lie to guests.

Lalita Boutique Hotel And Spa gave us truly a amazing stay! During our stay in Hanoi we already had very nice email contact about transfer option. Welcomed at the hotel, the staff was so friendly and thoughtful. During check-in we received a fruit platter, some sweets and a nice welcome drink. The atmosphere in the hotel is stunning. Great eye for details. Also a very nice surprise was an upgrade to the Junior Suite upon arrival!🙏🏼🙏🏼 The room, spacious and cute. Only when you shower the entire bathroom will be wet because of no shower curtain or cabin. But this is really to be nit-picking! Thank you for a wonderful stay and making us feel welcome! Big thanks from the Netherlands.

Room was really nice, we booked the premium suite at a reasonable price. Love how big and clean it is, especially how the bath tub oversee the paddy field. Probably the one thing to improve is the service for the breakfast buffet. Consecutively two days the coffee has ran out and we ask for the staff for assistance, but the staff was pretty attitude. Other than that the reception staff was helpful.

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming boutique hotel that exceeded all my expectations. - Beautiful design, attentive service, friendly staff, good food and drinks, nice swimming pool in the rooftop including spa, sauna (wet and dry) and even a hot Jacuzzi and a cinema room. - The room is spacious, clean and has all amenities you need. - It takes only 2-3km to the old town and many nearby attractions. The hotel offers free bicycles to guest. - This hotel has a sister hotel located inside the mountains. If you like the nature feel, you can split the stay to enjoy both places. Highly recommended for a unique and welcoming stay here. I will definitely stay again for next visit.

Lovely stay at Lalita whilst with a tour group visiting Ninh Binh. The design was lovely and the atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. It was nice and quiet, the rooms were clean and spacious (even with an extra bed in). The food was great and the breakfast had so many options. Easy distance to cycle into the village.

We are a family of 3, my wife, my son and I and we have just spent two lovely nights at the Lalita Hotel. My wife and I are from India and my son has joined us from the U.S. We have no complaints really. The customer service was heartfelt, the premises are well mainly and the front desk staff are polite, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable regarding local tours and sightseeing options. They have a good breakfast spread as well I must add that they gave us a free upgrade for one of our two rooms - to a suite - when we checked in , which was a pleasant surprise. Several days before the stay, customer service manager Jade also helped us with travel arrangements to and from Ninh Binh. (We came to Ninh Binh from Ha Long Bay and departed from here to Hanoi). Having traveled through the adjoining Tam Coc town I can say this indeed seems to be one of the premium hotel options in the area. Nothing is perfect and I have given a couple of minor suggestions regarding making the rooms more comfortable which I am sure they will look into. I am told the hotel's owners have named the Hotel Lalita as this means "elegant lady" (in Sanskrit I suspect). The hotel's logo has a symbol showing an elegant lady. And I would say this logo personifies (goes well with) the friendly and courteous attitude of the hotel's staff.

Wonderful warm stay during winter with fantastic good English speaking staff. Even have jacuzzi ad sauna for free. The breakfast spread was good with welcone drinks and tea time servings. A real gem
