I got my hair bleached a few days ago and this was my second time at this salon so my expectations were pretty high, but the employee who did my highlights wasn’t the same woman who did them the first time. The pictures I showed her were obviously white highlights, but she gave me gray highlights, didn’t even take her time trying to iron my hair, and gave herself a tip of 55 dollars instead of giving me the option to pick the tip. The price for full head highlights is 130 dollars and I paid $185! My hair is far from what I wanted and in the future I will be specific about who I want to dye/bleach my hair, ask about the cost of each service, and be detailed about how I want my hair to look!

Donna is great. I came to her for color correction. She took great care to address my concerns while maintaining the integrity of the hair. She has a beautiful, clean, bright salon.

Just recently moved to the area and I’ve been looking for a new hair dresser for awhile now. My co-worker highly recommended Detangled Salon and I can see why! What an absolute amazing experience. Super friendly staff. I had Alyssa as my stylist and let me tell you, wow! She really listened to what I wanted, haven’t touched my hair since October 2020 she really gave it some life again. I just had a cut and color with Alyssa and she is amazing at her craft! The salon is beautiful and very clean. Everyone is very polite and friendly. I sometimes get anxiety in hair salons or new places I visit, but I felt very comfortable and at ease here. I highly recommend this Salon to anyone seeking experienced hair professionals. You won't regret it!

I had Sam she was very nice and helped me get the knots out of my hair. I have been cutting my own hair for over 10 years and was very nervous. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, and recommended a great product that helped me keep the knots away. I will most definitely be going back to her. Thank you again!

I have very difficult, multi-textured fine curls that have different curl patterns throughout my head. I used to get keratin treatments for years back when they still contained formaldehyde. I've been to a handful of different salons over the last 10 years and went back to natural hair during the onset of the pandemic in mid 2020. I had a clear idea of what I wanted for my hair when I first decided to come to Detangled in summer of 2022. This was a few months after a VERY poor haircut and color from a salon in Wildwood, NJ which is where I perform the entire summer, so I was desperate for a place that would not only work with my hair type but actually execute what I asked for, within reason of course as hair is a complicated creature. I had a clear idea of what I wanted when I came in for my 1st visit with Erika- a blonde chunk somewhere in the front, with deep 2N brunette black or similar for the rest. She spent so much time on my hair, explaining absolutely every step and treating me like we were longtime friends. I ended up coming back for the KeraComplex treatment after not having any keratin for 2 years. Had some trouble with the shape of my cut due to bleach breakage and uneven growth, so Erika transformed it into the cutest curtain bangs, which I now intend to keep as my hairstyle for a while. Every visit there has been not only worth the time spent, but fun due to the environment. It's definitely got the "out with the girls" lighthearted vibe, but with respect to clients that may not be as conversational. It seems they've been renovating and expanding, so the place is decorated accordingly for seasons (SO CUTE FOR HALLOWEEN THIS PAST YEAR OH MY GOODNESS) but under a little construction. Cant wait to see the finished product because they deserve the extra space.

I have been to detangled twice and I love it! Holly gave me the cutest lob last time and today Sarah gave me the most beautiful balayage I have ever seen. She is truly an artist! Everyone is always nice and friendly and the place is so clean!

This is my 3rd time here. I booked alyssa....she was rushing...she had another client so I was pushed off on a girl who was nice, but I booked Allyson. The color is extremely high. I was quoted 280.00 for whole head highlights n my roots. Ridiculous! The owner, was nice but off n in and all the stylists, except 2 were just in the back gabbing. I broke my neck. The manager who took over my needs unbeknownst to me left me in the sink...I can't lay like that. She was also gabbing in the back. I think I'll go back to West Mane or definitely somewhere else. You lost a good person, and good paying customer. Hint. You need to treat your clients with a bit more respect. Communication goes a long way!

Donna and her staff are AMAZING! They made me feel so comfortable from the initial phone call.
