Best fruit bowl smoothie place around. Flavor and quality can’t be best. I recommend the Electric Mermaid, Nutella or Pure Vida. Price is a little higher than other places but it is worth it.

First time at this location and probably the last.. the bowls we got were delicious! The 30 minute wait, horrible. Only one employee making bowls, the cashier was doing various tasks and went to help the employee making bowls (after finishing his tasks), both constantly kept apologizing for the wait to everyone there when their orders were up. the employee making smoothies that then decided to play on her phone and not help? Not cool. She could have helped out like the other employee. It was super busy for a Wednesday at 1:42 pm, so great job to the 2 who were working together to get orders out! I've seen OC get orders out faster on a busier boardwalk than this location :/

I love the aesthetic of this place, the atmosphere was vibrant and the acai bowl I ordered was fresh and delicious. The workers were friendly and were knowledgeable about their products.

(Leaving this on behalf of my partner). My partner has frequented this location a handful of times as it is within close proximity to their job. Each time, they have reported that the experience was worse than the last. They typically order a smoothie and on multiple occasions, they’ve been charged for an add-on, but unfortunately it wasn’t included within the smoothie (chia seeds, so it’s not hard to miss). The most recent time, not only did they forget the chia seeds again, the smoothie had chunks of banana in it, which means that it was not fully blended. Overall, they have had an unpleasant experience at the Cherry Hill location. It’s unfortunate that this has been their experience at this location as playa bowl has become a staple to our morning routine. If you decide to frequent this location, be sure that any additional add-ins have been added and your smoothie is fully blended prior to leaving.

It was completely unprofessional and out of character when I received not just 1 or 2 but 3 bowls that were not given in their correct order. They had completely taken advantage of the situation and made them with no portion of açaí, barely toppings, all of which were completely incorrect. I advice you to be careful and rethink about your descioning from taking up from this location. Since from what I've seen these workers seem to have no respect for the money we put in to what we ordered to receive. Never again.

I went into playa bowls and ordered three bowls of which we stayed in there to eat. My mother daughter and I all complained that it was too much granola and no açaí or coconut base. I’d much rather had ordered $40 of granola and not waste my money and time expecting a base of açaí and coconut as stated on the menu.

Decent place but such a rip off. $28 for these two items, I’ve been ordering this for years and it used to be $20-22 before inflation. Now they even skimp out on certain bowls if you notice my Power Bowl to the right. It’s a shame that this franchise has become such a rip off. Reference point: The cost to make my Power bowl is roughly $1.25-1.50 including the container that they charged me $13+ tax. 1/4 of a banana, 1 tbsp of softened peanut butter (mixed with water to get creamier), about 1/4 cup of granola, and 1/2 cup of açaí. A little more than 1 cup of food for $14 in total response to owner: my COG estimate (cost of goods) is 100% accurate, closer to $1.50 including container

These bowls of mixed fruit and acai w nutella were unbelievably good! I'm a first timer. Wished these stores were down in central VA. Everyone at my table were in rapture over the deliciousness of their bowls. Playa's acai blend is like no other.

I loveee playa bowls, but today was not the best experience. I ordered online and went to pick it up on my 30 min break. Went I got back to my job, I placed the bag on my lap and opened the bag up. There was pretty much açaí spilled everywhere, and the bowl didn’t tip over or move on the way back. It pretty much overflowed. The napkins were drenched and it seeped through the bag so it got all over my pants, as well as my car seat. I get that I ordered a good amount of toppings, but if there was a little less açaí it wouldn’t have been an issue. I wasn’t able to enjoy it, plus I tipped :( I love this place, but today threw me off a little.

So I never leave reviews on anything and I’m not trying to be dramatic or looking for anything in return but I just had not the best experience at this playa bowls so I needed to share. So basically I am allergic to tree nuts and asked for a bowl that has Nutella on it. I asked for no Nutella and they said no problem would you like to substitute it with anything else and I answered no thank you. While I was waiting for my order one of the worker’s Be Real went off and two of them stopped whatever they were doing to take pictures. I get this is what people my age do as I am a college student and have many friends who do Be Reals, but I did not think it was really the time or place to be taking a Be Real while working. Then finally when I got my bowl and took it home I opened it only to find after a couple bites that they still put Nutella on my bowl after I asked for them not to. Thankfully I am not deadly allergic so I just stopped eating it before anything worse could happen than just a sore throat and stomach ache. But I feel like this could have been avoided if the staff was a little more focused on the food being served. Again I don’t like to be giving Karen but this could have ended really bad so please if you have any allergy make sure you stress to the workers not to put the item in your bowl and look before you take it home incase it needs to be changed!

This location was very busy. They are working on the parking lot so it took a bit to find a spot. The store has an island vibe going on and it is nice. There was a steady stream of customers while I was there. The staff was friendly and were efficient in processing everyone as quickly as possible. The wait was well worth it. My order was yummy!

Staff was patient with our modification requests and helpful when we forgot to add things to our bowls. Bowl was fresh and delicious.

I really liked my smoothie bowl in Playa Bowls! My açaí bowl was sweet, as I anticipated it would be. The first time I came here, it was within a half hour of closing, so I didn’t have to wait too long for my smoothie bowl (take-out). The second time, I came with a friend and ate there, and the wait time was reasonable. There’s sufficient parking available even though it is shared with other stores. Since it is off NJ-70, there’s traffic on the way to this Playa Bowls location during the day (especially during rush hour), but otherwise it’s a good location and near a busy shopping area, and several banks like TD Bank, PNC, and Bank of America have branches nearby.

The staff were all so patient and polite. They made the experience quite enjoyable. The half pitaya half coconut Nutella bowl was so refreshing. Fruit so fresh. I’ll definitely be back

My smoothie was excellent! The store was very busy and there were a lot of people waiting for their bowls but because I had a smoothie mine came to me pretty quick. Staff were working quickly to fill all orders!

Love the decor but the music was way too loud. Staff was kind and the bowls/smoothie were perfectly made. Will definitely be back!

The Cherry Hill location is a great spot to stop in for a meal replacement. The smoothies are good and the açaí bowls are even better. Despite being busy the order came out in a timely manner. Highly recommend to anyone in the area that wants to choose a healthier option.

Sent this complaint about 3 weeks ago and still no response. Sent to corporate and contacted the owner of this location. Extremely disappointed! I frequently order 2–3 bowls at a time at the Cherry Hill, NJ location. I spend about $30-60 with each purchase that I make. The last 3 of my orders have been incorrect. Two of the orders were made via Door Dash and other order was in person. The first order, a bowl was missing, the second and third order had missing ingredients. The order I picked up today, I mentioned to the staff that my orders have been incorrect and about 4 staff members were at the counter and ensured me that the order was correct. However, one of my bowls was missing blueberries that I paid extra for. When I called the store and spoke to Riley she said that there was a lineand questioned if I saw the blueberries in the bowl during pick up. I told her that I mentioned to the staff that my orders have been incorrect lately and I was not paying attention to the blueberries in the bowl. To even insinuate that it was my fault that the bowl was incorrect was offensive. I reiterated to her that as a customer, I order and pay for items; however, it is the staff members responsibility to ensure that orders are correct. It took a back and forth with Riley to get an email to express my complaint. Interactions such as these discourage customers from coming to certain stores. Riley mentioned to me about getting 10% off my next order. That was extremely offensive, as 10% does not express to me as a loyal customer that Playa Bowls apologize for the multiple errors and appreciate me as a loyal customer. I do understand being busy, as I am an emergency room nurse. I also understand however, that being busy does not negate our responsibility to do things correctly. I am disappointed in the service that I have received these past weeks and appreciate a swift follow up regarding my concerns. Additionally, I recommend that staff members are reminded on the importance of good customer service, as there are no jobs if there are no customers. Thank you in advance for your attention in this matter.

I visited today, for breakfast and was cashiered by Candace, I believe her name was. She was very polite and made for a positive experience. I noticed she was attentive in training a new employee, as well. I always enjoy the decor when walking in, and the music playing. I found my bowl to be especially good and filling today; I’ve been getting the Nutella açaí for years. I was delighted to see new additions to the menu, I’ll be visiting again soon.

The food is cold, fresh, delicious, and filling! My it was my first time going to one this Sunday, and I have been there 4 times this week! It is a great cold treat that I’d argue is more satisfying than ice cream and better for you. I tried The Nutella bowl and the dragon fruit bowl, and the the thing that surprised me was how filling it was. for such a modest bowl. You have a new fan in me!

I use the app online and it is easy to order. When I get there they have it ready and are always pleasant. I am always surprising my son, his gf and my mom with a bowl. They taste so amazing and have so many toppings to chose from.

Two weeks in a row I’ve been to this playa bowl in Cherry Hill, NJ and both time I had a great experience. Last week me and a group of my friends came in for fruit platters and smoothies and it was all delicious! Today I came in again with my family and believe the same girl helped us again(her name is Lindsey I believe). She was very helpful and accommodating both times I came in even though they were so busy last week. She was so sweet to my children and helped us find new menu items that we loved! The store is clean and a great atmosphere over all I love the beachy surf theme. Thank you we will definitely be back!

I love this little place. My orders are always done very quickly and I have only ever had one mistake and they remade the whole bowl. I had to get several teeth removed, and one of the only things I could eat right away were plain versions of these bowls. Just a base or 2, flax oil, and some vegan protein. Delicious and helped me heal faster than endless milkshakes. My only complaint is that (especially with the blenders going) the music is WAY too loud and I have a hard time hearing the cashier most of the time. The prices are fair IMO for amount given. just recently tried an oatmeal bowl for the first time. Worth every penny. Love it. Whenever I've got a little bit of extra cash, this is what I'm eating. Try it...
