Everything I expect from a Five Below: convenient and cheap! This location is in the heart of the city and often pretty busy. It has everything I expect from this store: cheap phone accessories for when you're in a pinch, candy galore, some random clothes, and an extended section of beauty, home items, and novelties!

If you are from out of town and have never seen/heard of Five Below, it's kind of like a Dollar Tree only everything is below *$5* (hence the name) and you can generally find things (graphic tees, video games) that you wouldn't find at a dollar store. If, on the other hand, you are a fan of the chain, then you *have* to check out the two-story flagship store. It has the same excellent selection of gummies and candy that we have all come to expect from Five Below in addition to a (generally) expanded selection of...well...everything. One thing that I have to applaud is how (generally) well maintained the store looks, despite the large crowds that it sometimes sees. They also seem to do a good job of making sure that the cash registers are adequately staffed and wait times are kept to a minimum. Keeping true to the flagship expectations, this is indeed the best Five Below.

I recently shopped at Five Below and was amazed by their prices - truly unbeatable for the variety they offer. The store had a good range of items in stock. However, the vibe of the place was a bit off, lacking the welcoming atmosphere I've experienced in other stores. Also, the layout was somewhat disorganized, which made shopping a bit more challenging than expected

What can I say!!! They built this store too close to my house. Lol. I can't seem to get out once I'm in. They have everything I need & then some. I love it there. So many cool things from the front door till the back door. It's a great place to take the kids too. Oh & there are things that are under 5$ too so they do price items accordingly. Check them out!!! 😘🤩😀

For being a five below chain it was not up to standards. The first floor was only available so there was only a very small selection to choose from. Including that it seemed there wasn't a lot of help.

I love love love this store...BUT most times I avoid it because there's a person or 2 who dnt work there, and hold the door open for people as they walk in and when you leave they keep asking you for money, which I always feel bad to say no, even If I really don't have it, because they see I have a shopping bag in my hand. I always help people out when I have it, but I don't like this at all. So lately I've just been walking by. But I still have 5 stars because the store is HUGE and the workers are super nice!

Loved the store although the lady told us there store around the corner had something we were looking for. Except it wasn't just around the corner... and she never called to see if the other five below had it... needless to say that store didn't have it either.

Gave it 5 stars cuz it's got what it advertises. Tons of candy and cheap trinkets. They have everything for stocking stuffers at a decent price. Candy, phone chargers, towels, flipflops, bag packs. I don't think they're stuff is made to last but it's reasonably cheap so it evens out

I love five below they always have such a wide selection of random items to put a smile on your face. But this location is filled with unpleasant and rude workers. Not a single person looks happy to do their job let alone be there.

It was a good experience and they had clot of things for dormitory decor. They not only work well for dorms but for Small Studio apartments. Everyone was very helpful.

Great place for purchasing cheap items we've been overpaying for years. With inflation most items are still around or below five dollars.

Would be nice to be able to use the self checkout without the scanner directly in your eyes.

Will personally never get used to the 2 story setup, sometimes I have a hard time finding what I need and end up wandering until I come across someone who works there that can assist me with what I need. Everyone seems pleasant for the most part, and depends on whose at the door, or near it if you get greeted or not.

Love the deals. Also love to see they have real people as Cashiers and only use Self Checkouts to aid when they get busy.

Hotel under construction. Was not warned despite elite status. Facilities not available, accommodations very inconvenient. I'd recommend avoiding at least until totally renovated. Not the best experience.

If you need affordable low cost items then check out this place. Everything I saw is $5 & under. They sell snacks, clothes, cosmetics and little knick knacks.

Great for getting last minute birthday presents for kids.

  • 4/5 mejluc 1 year ago on Google
Good selection. But the name needs updated since there's a few items that are $10 and $15. Some of the items don't last very long and tend to break/malfunction. You get what you pay for, I guess.

My pension for books draws me in. They are known for cutesy merch and low cost what nots. I have rarely not found anything that interested me; unless I was just window shopping.

I went here yesterday to return a few items that didn’t work out. It took 15-20 minutes for them to give me the cash, and there was no one in front of me. All the items were all complete with bar codes convenient. The first teller tried multiple times then went to get the manager to approve. The manager came, said the teller didn’t do it right. Went back to square 1. The manager tried working it through several times. Finally almost 20 minutes later they print the return receipt and give me the money. They didn’t even apologize for the massive inconvenience! And when I got home, the return receipt wasn’t even correct! The total was correct, but 2 of the items were listed as “return without receipt,” when ALL the items were on 1 receipt, which I gave to them. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this store.

Fun store with two levels. Escalators and elevators to take you up or down. This location has lots of cool souvenir type merch for friends who live out of town and want to show their love for Philly.

I Love the ( Greeting) hospitality SOON as I Came through the door. I was looking for a Pacific item and they didn't have it , I asked an employee about their other store , which was at least 8 blocks away , and to my Surprise , he calls to the other store to see if they had what I wanted , they didn't carry that item anymore , So he directed Me to another store 3 doors down . I Love 5 below in center city Philadelphia .

Like a dollar store. There are lots of cute things to buy for cheap. There were a bunch of young teenage girls creating a ruckus and behaving inappropriately, which made me want to leave before it turned into something bigger.

Do not have phone purse any more. Nothing close in to put in purse Pocket dolling by itself calling people by mistake. Thank five below just go up on price like everything else.

  • 5/5 Rachel F. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing. I hadn’t been to one in years and their selection is vast. No longer is everything under $5, but that’s life. I would especially recommend this place for putting together Christmas stockings, gift baskets, Easter baskets, etc. For anything you could buy in bulk, this isn’t the place.

I liked the time I spent in the 5 Below store. I was walking by on the street, headed to the HALLMARK Store for a Mother's Day card, when I saw a nice colorful, & great bargain priced display, of Mother's Day Cards, through the window, at the front of the 5 Below store. The $2 price, for the nice, big Mother's Day card, was enough to draw me in, And I bought the card. I said "The Hell with HALLMARK", to myself, as I went in and bought the nice card I selected. The Salesgirl was also nice, as she aided me in buying the card, because I don't know how to use the self checkout computers cash registers. 5 Below was right on time with what I wanted. & at the perfect price. $2 for a nice, big card, like that, which I'm sure probably would have been $10 at HALLMARK. 5 Below I give you the big Thumbs Up! Yes! 👍

When I make a trip to Philly with my family. This is the first place that my sister and I visit. We go to the second floor. I find great stuff for the rooms; which I can't find at Five Below in Staten Island, NY. The area rug below I purchased in Philly. I can't find it in Staten Island, NY. I have to order another one online. Oh the store is clean and organized.👍

My favorite 5 and below by far and the biggest one I've ever seen or been to. I live in MD and our 5 and below doesn't hold a candle to this store. The employees are really helpful and nice.Only downside is they close at 7 pm, from what I've heard they close that early because there is supposedly an issue with crime

Went here on Black Friday and the cashier lady was rude and try to charge me twice for my stuff there’s no point on being racist to customers you know go every day there and are very distinctive then I tell her to cancel everything to do it again she did it but she left and said to do it myself like if I was trying to steal something well I did and then they machines doesn’t have like any recipes paper and you have to show it when you walk out so I send it to my email it was my only option because imagine that happening going outside and they ask for the recipe and then pulling the lady to explain the situation and she ignored you so I let her know to fix the machine but she said that why I send it to my mail for ,so I ask to call the manager to see if they could because it was too much already they never to call it and at the end I show the security my bank account and he said it was alright because he was watching next time I come back hope to see an improvement because I always come to this location ;) It’s no that hard to help someone she’s not stupid she knows what she was doing.
