I really liked this place for the price. The bed was comfortable and clean but a little squeaky. The room was nice and large and clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was pretty good and had a decent selection of options. The ac in my room wasn't great but it cooled it enough to sleep comfortably. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or anything but the pool did look nice and clean. We were only able to get second for rooms and with a 1 yr old and luggage and no elevator made it a little inconvenient but I absolutely would stay here again.

When I arrived was a little concerned about what the room might look like because of the outside and location. But was pleasantly surprised the room was very nice spacious and clean as well as the service, once they got to the front desk, was very good some of the best for friendliness. The breakfast was in then top 5 of all hotels I have been to and well stocked. Only things if is that they don't have an elevator.

When it comes to this hotel, don't judge a book by it's cover... The relatively plain exterior of the building gave way to an honestly very cozy and very clean hotel with friendly staff and better amenities than we anticipated. The rooms were very quiet at all hours throughout the day/night, and they were furnished nicely with comfortable beds and plenty of pillows (a must for me). The air conditioning in the room worked really well, which is something I find important because I get hot when I sleep, and the bathroom was nice as well! For us, another highlight was the breakfast. It was much better of a breakfast than we have experienced at most hotels like this. The sausage gravy was delicious, and being from Indiana myself, I appreciate good sausage gravy. The older gentleman who worked the breakfast was an absolute gem as well... very kind and personable, easy to talk to. He bragged about the food to us as we were filling our plates (and he was right for bragging), and was diligent about stocking everything and cleaning. He was just a lovely soul to experience in the morning, and not being a morning person myself, I appreciate that. While we did not get the chance to use the pool, it looked lovely! Not huge, but it appeared to be taken care of well. We did utilize the fitness center, and while it too was small, it had what we needed. Two different bikes, a treadmill, and dumbbells were plenty to suit our needs, and it look like the equipment was well maintained. Overall, we are just very taken by how nice of an experience we had at this hotel, especially for the price! We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Indiana in the future.

The room was clean and had no bad smells. The beds were super comfortable, and there is a small fridge & microwave in the room. Good shower pressure! There's a hair dryer & ironing board w/iron. There's a desk if you need to work.

Where do I begin with this. The best thing about this hotel was the location. It was easy on/off the interstate. That is the only thing that was great about this hotel. Now the not so good: rooms were dusty, the deadbolt was completely broken, the air conditioner had to be put on the lowest temperature to even work. Then the next morning at 830am, the maid tried opening the door even with the do not disturb sign clearly hanging from the door. When I said tried its because anyone w a key could have entered this room, since the deadbolt was broken so I put chairs and luggage rack in front of it so if anyone tried to come in I would hear it. So yes I heard the maid and said something to her. She didn't apologize or anything. So do not recommend this place at all.

The room smelled of cigarettes, the carpet was bare in spots as was the chair. The shower wouldn’t drain. The Hot tub was broke. The hallway smelled of pot. Front desk was nice, both Checkin and checkout. Bob Evans was walkable. Definitely Not worth $98.00

Stayed one night on our way home from a road trip. Front desk manager wasn’t very friendly when we checked in 5/19/23 around 7pm, but other than that, great hotel for the price. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Lots of options and breakfast attendant, Richard, was extremely friendly and even offered to make eggs to order for guests! Beds were clean, not the most comfortable, but not horrible. Bathroom seemed clean as well. Our room had a funk smell when we first checked in, but nothing crazy and once we got the AC running, it seemed to clear out.

Service was fantastic. Room was clean. Mattress was new and comfortable. Breakfast was great, even got my eggs made to order. Down sides... it is dated. The side entrance door was dirty....hadn't been cleaned for awhile. Our air conditioner was noisy and didn't work hold the temp well. Over as I would rate it a C and would stay there again.

Nice clean basic room. No available handicap accessible rooms. Our room was on the 1st floor so that helped, but couldn’t use the shower because of no grab bars. Fortunately I was able to get up from very low toilet & room seats! Staff very helpful in every way!

We stayed last night at this hotel and found it to be very nice. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the couch and coffee table were a welcome addition. I appreciated the great lighting in the bathroom. It is an older building but our room was clean and comfortable. It was a nice treat to meet Richard who makes everyone feel welcome in the breakfast room, he made my husband his eggs over easy which made him very happy! Thanks for all you do Richard to make this hotel stand out from all the others!

We were apprehensive about deciding to stay at a Baymont since we have been disappointed by this chain in the past, and the low cost (it was a Sunday night) made us think it might be inferior. The website also said continental breakfast, looking like bad news. In fact, this was a pretty good place. The owners care about maintenance and everything was clean, working, and comfortable. It was everything we needed or really wanted. We selected a king bed, which was perfect, with good blankets and pillows. Nothing smelled funky. The bath towels were nice and thick. Plenty of lights in the unit, but the alcove for a small sofa should have had a lamp. Otherwise pretty nice. Breakfast was also better than expected, though a bit basic. The attendant surprised us by offering to custom cook eggs for us. He (Richard) was very friendly and loved talking with the guests.

I chose this property due to several reviews that mentioned Richard. It was a good call. Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable and the price was very good. Richard, on the other, hand was spectacular. He greets everyone who comes into the breakfast room, and my wife said his eggs were excellent. During downtime, we learned a bit about his life story. Would definitely stay at this property again.

My uncle and I visited this location twice within the last few months. We loved it until the last night of our second stay. The lady at the desk was friendly one minute but extremely rude the next. A couple of things happened, but one such incident was when we went to the breakfast area before hours as the door was open. There was no sign around stating that we couldn't go inside. We went in just to get a couple of orange juices from the fridge. It was never an issue with any of the other employees until this one particular grouch box decided it was a total crime. She firmly told us that area was closed and gave us the most hateful stare ever!! If the area really is closed until breakfast, close the freaking door and put a sign on it. It's not that difficult!!! We're not coming back to this place anymore because of her.

It seems like it can be hard to find a good hotel/motel around here. The Baymont is dated & the carpets could definitely use replacing, but it was clean & the bed was very comfortable! The AC/Heat actually worked great. Breakfast was solid, and I’m glad we went with this choice. Overall it was a good middle level spot with appropriate pricing, friendly staff, and good amenities that’s right off the highway.
