I was charged a deposit and I lost this due to an alleged smoking violation in the room when my family and I are a non-smoking family. We asked to see what evidence and was told we weren't allowed to see it. Somebody there is using their power to steal from people like me for no reason.

This place is great! They have mini fridges and microwaves in the room and a bunch of streaming services available on the TV. They had real keys instead of the plastic key cards which was a fun surprise. There's a bunch of memorabilia on the walls which was really cool and kitchy. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely stay here. Oh...and it's super affordable which was amazing!!

This hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were nice and helpful. Lots of interesting memorabilia throughout. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend and stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here!! The front desk attendant was so kind and helpful. She shared good places to eat and fun activities in the area. Our room was clean and tidy and smelled nice. There are basketball hoops outside and they have basketballs you can loan from the front desk. I would 10/10 stay here if given the opportunity again!

We have stayed in this hotel four times in the last 25 years or so. It is well-maintained: everything is nice, clean, working, and the atmosphere wholesome. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The theme of Steve Alford's college and NBA career memorialized on the lower halls is very interesting as well. Most everything in New Castle is just 5 minutes down the road

I recently stayed at the Steve Alford Inn and I was very impressed. The rooms are very clean, recently updated and the housekeepers do a great job. Everyone at the front desk were great. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and room was very spacious. I highly recommend staying there if you are in town, or passing through.

On October 2nd I called the raintree inn where I normally go to rent a room for whatever reason and they were completely full so I went to steve Alfred inn and rented a room for one night I agreed to pay. I checked out turn in my key and told them by last nothing was said. The next morning I check my debit card and noticed there was an additional $200 missing so I called the Steve Alford in and they told me that they took $200 out for a deposit and I would not be getting it because they smelled smoke on my niece when she returned the keys. I am happy and proud to say that my family is a nonsmoking family and has been for the past 6 months. Obviously there is someone working there that has a side hustle of deducting more money than they are given permission to deduct. I have contacted my debit card facility and the social security administration about this I just wanted to make the community aware

Extremely happy with their service. They were very helpful and cooperative when we had any issues at all. We were in town to see my ailing mother in law who passed while we were in town. They went beyond duty to make sure our stay was good.
