I can't even begin to explain how incredibly nice everyone was at Anita's Kitchen!! All of the waitresses were in excellent moods and you could tell they enjoyed what they did. They were very attentive as well. Food came out quickly and tasted great. This was my first time in this part of Indiana but I hope I get to come back here someday. Yeah it's a couple miles off of 69, but it's SO worth it. Do it!!! :)

Salad was okay, salmon patties were very good,...coleslaw was average ,...kids ordered breakfast food... pancakes are large in size no complaints there ... overall descent place to eat

Anita's Kitchen was the choice of my high school alumni ladies lunch this month. It was my first visit. Anita's is larger on the inside than it looks from the parking lot. It's large enough to accomodate a table full of some of the member's of Anderson High School's class of '65. While the breakfast menu appeared rather ordinary, I opted for one of my favorite lunches--a BLT, served with chips (very good and crispy and I'm not talking about Lay's) and a pickle spear. I ordered my bacon very crispy because I can't stand bacon fat, and I wasn't disappointed. It was cooked to perfection. The only thing I didn't like about my lunch was the fact that Pepsi was the only soft drink on the menu and I am a Coca Cola fanatic. So I chose coffee, which was hot and plentiful. The service was outstanding and the wait staff was super friendly. All my companions were pleased as well and we will definitely go back again.

It's food. Meatloaf had good flavor, but the burnt edges were chewy/inedible.

Sooo cozy and it has a small town-homey feel to it! The food was so good. Everyone was so kind and sweet! :)

I would say that the food reminds me of good southern food. The servers are super nice.

The fried breakfast potatoes were gray and not quite done. A little hard and thick. No flavor. Had to ask for butter to help with the flavor. Otherwise good coffee and foid nice servers.

Great food at a great price in a diner-style setting. One tenderloin and vegetarian omelete later, with pie as a dessert of course, and we were back on our way and happy to have stopped!

Awesome food, awesome service, both breakfast and lunch food are great. Tenderloin is wonderful. My friend got the banana cream cheesecake and said it was incredible. Update: still one of my favorites. If you're looking for the classic diner feel with awesome service Anita's is perfect. Only hours currently are breakfast and lunch.

Had breakfast here with my brother in law. The service was outstanding and the food was very good, came out fast and was fairly priced.

Love this place. Hometown Mom 'n' Pop type place. Great fritters, pie. More. My only complaint is that they've had to reduce the number of days they're open! ;-)

Wonderful food and friendly staff.

Nice family restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The pricing is very affordable. The portions are sufficient and the food is quite good. Nothing fancy here just good comfort food served up hot and fast.
