What a refreshing idea for Elkhart. I'm 46 and used to skate back in the late 80's early 90's. The owners are the bees knees and this skate shop has gotten kids off the video game consoles and back outside. Even if you dont skate, go check this store out. You might just grab a deck and have them build it up for ya.....I have two now. Hats off to Urban Streetwear!

Cool place sort of hidden on the south end of main Street in downtown Elkhart - this place is dope- with an inventory and aesthetic that makes you forget that you are in Elkhart. Definitely made downtown a little more rad.

Enjoyed learning from everyone we interacted with. The items I purchased at the direction of my grandson were his dream come true. Quality was above anything that could be found at a department store. Top quality & tools to make routine adjustments. I will definitely return for more business as directed by next grandson. 😃

The lady here was so nice and helpful such a peach she was. The place was nice and clean. I was only there to pick up my wish stuff but she was so nice to me and helpful and felt bad for me when I did not get what I expected from wish but that was my fault I should have read it better but she was like I'm so sorry I was like it's ok it's not ur fault she's like I know but I know how it feels to get things and they don't turn out to what u think they are going to be I was like that was sweet of u and thx so much for ur help. I visited Urban Street wear with a friend. I've actually been there with hat friend three times. The first time the female associate was stellar. She has knowledge, customer service and was very welcoming. The latter two visits were less pleasant. The owners should train male employee better, because they lack welcoming customer service skills that are necessary for a mom and pop shop to survive. The store has a wide selection of skateboards, long boards and skate apperal. They also have skate hardware. Prices are reasonable. My friend bought bearings for 49.99 that we later found on Amazon for 20 buck. Buyers beware.

Im an old school skater and when i walked in i had a flash back old decks everything in there shop is amazing i live 4 doors down and i will always be back love supporting local shops thank you very much again for the hospitality definitely doesnot go unnoticed

Glad we found Urban Streetwear! We came in looking for longboards and were very pleased with the selection offered! The staff was knowledgeable and answered every question we had. Before leaving they made sure we were comfortable with our boards and adjusted them as needed. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!

Went in there to get some harder grommets for my trucks. Also they had a great selection of skateboard tools and I ended up buying one of those and a bunch of stickers. They were very helpful and we also just had a great chat about skateboarding.
