One of my favorite places to ride my bike. There are a few street crossings, but mainly small neighborhood roads. The path is wide and almost 30 miles round-trip. Great for walking, running, skating, and cycling. You will see a lot of farm animals and some wildlife. Some areas are shaded by trees but most is a bit sunny.

Long Parking Lot with Bathrooms and Water Fountain. Nice Trail, Mostly Flat, Mostly Straight, and Smooth Enough for Skates.

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this trail. Its a nice stretch amongst a very Floridian back drop! You get a lil bit of swamp, a lil bit of sidewalk stroll and an insanely nice bike ride on this one! It is sidewalked all the way down and runs a couple miles I believe. This place is good for anyone that enjoys peace and quiet and a nice scenic place to just think or unwind, or both. ENJOY!

Overview: I have been riding this trail off and on for a while. It was an absolute treat. The trail is a well-maintained, nice paved path that winds its way through the beautiful woodlands and wetlands between Baldwin. The trail is also dotted with bridges that cross over creeks and a tunnel that goes under a road. The variety of scenery along the way makes this a fun trip for the whole family. If you were to do the whole path, you could visit the Larry M Carrol park, the Camp Militon Historic Preserve. Just so much more then a trail to ride a bike or walk/run. What to know: The trailhead is easy to find, and the trail is clearly marked with mile markers every mile, so it's easy to stay on course. There are also maps along the way. There are a few bathrooms along the way. Parking can be in many locations. The main parking is at the east end next to Imeson Rd or the west end off Brandy Branch Rd. Round trip between these two points is about 28mi.

1st time here and it is perfect for biking and walking. You can choose how long you are out and there are plenty of benches and trash cans. This will now be a regular riding place for us. My son is a new rider and everyone was really nice and helpful.

Great trail for biking, skating, walking the dog, jogging, etc. Not much shade so make sure to take your hats and sunglasses, but a very nice long trail. Haven’t had a bad experience yet!

Beautiful trail that's almost completely shaded with a tree canopy (except for the first few miles by the power lines). This trailhead is right off I-295 and has restrooms, a picnic table, and parking. It's also got a bike air pump and fix it station. No water though, so bring your own.

Love the trail because it's fairly flat and straight; has markers to know your distance; power poles if you want to do intervals without your app talking to you; lane markers and arrows pointing which direction that half of the trail should be heading to help with trail traffic flow (stay to the right); and benches and trash cans every so often along the trail. I do not like the trail because the sun is in your face and there is no shade, it also crosses the roads a few times where drivers don't always pay attention and there is just enough curve to the road in at least one spot that makes it difficult to tell if there is traffic coming at you. Over all if you prepare for the sun and double check at the crossings this is a great trail for any distance run training or bike training, or just to get out walking and enjoy a little bit of nature.

This 15 mile rail-trail is the best place to ride a road bike in Jacksonville! Lots of fresh air, no traffic, scenic and safe. The trail itself is newly repaved and rides great!

Well maintained bike trail. I've seen roller blades, skateboards, walkers, and horses on this rail trail. There is bathrooms at both ends and one approximately 5 miles from the Imeson entrance. Alot of this trail has shade, which is really nice.

1st time on this trail. When we headed back a long train was blocking the trail, we had to turn around and find our way around the train... Added to an already GREAT ADVENTURE!

This is a great smooth track for bikers, walkers, or joggers! We rode beach cruisers and finished the 29 total mile bike ride in less than three hours.

Second time here, it is a great trail to bike. Be careful at road crossings, but I felt safe. We did the whole trail, which was nice and easy and oh-so-flat. haha.

Always a peaceful, safe place to walk, jog, or ride bikes. Sad to see all tree destroyed at the Imerson lot. Guess that's progress. 😪

We love this trail!! Did a late afternoon ride this time. Great time!! This trail is for all types... super cyclists, leisure cyclists, joggers and walkers. Highly recommend. We cycled the full 28 miles. 2.5hrs. 1600 calories burnt. Great end to a Father's day weekend
