It’s a view point , you have to drive around 10-15 min up hills from McLeodganj . But the view is beautiful. It’s a long walk path way to see the hills and views. We visited in morning people say sunset views are mesmerising. So many food options are also there . Photogenic place. Keep safe your self and don’t go near to side of the road hill facing .

One of the must visit places if you're in Dharamshala. The beauty of the hills will mesmerize you. If you are looking forward to a soothing experience and wish to see clouds floating in front of you right between the hills, visit Naddi Hill Point. Beauty at its best. Mountains are the best ways to rejuvenate and bring clarity into your life. Until next time. God bless 🙌

Get a breathtaking view of the snow capped Dhauladhar mountain ranges! Once you reach the car parking there is a small walk to the multiple viewing points. With a slight chill in the air and the typical hill station weather it’s an amazing experience to enjoyed with hot tea/coffee.

Beautiful, scenic, peaceful. This place offers breathtaking view of the Snow-Capped Himalayan Dhauladhar ranges. On the other side you get to see the beautiful sun setting behind the smaller hills. Have some tea and maggi and enjoy the scenery!

Located about 6 - 8 kilometres from Mcleodganj, it is a view point from where one can see the snow-capped mountains of Dhauladhar range. It is at an approximate elevation of 2000 metres in the Kangra valley & in the Lee of the Dhauladhar mountain range. The sunset is NOT visible from here, as suggested by some signs, although the view of the snow-capped mountains from here is mesmerizing.

Worth a visit, so picturesque . We went during the sunset , the snow peaks were shining like glittery gold. I could spend all evening in front of that view. There are few Maggi & tea points. You also have two folks with binoculars and would show you Triund trek, camp, temple and a waterfall for 20₹. We rented a bike for 600₹ full day and took a trip to Triund trek and naddi point. Quite worth it.

Unarguably the best scenic spot in Dharamshala. Definitely recommend to visit by any snowcapped mountain lover

We went there to see Sunset and the view is mind blowing.. peace, bird chirpings, cool breeze, pizza, good music.. ☺️ At a distance of 4km from macleodganj square and just 2km from st. John church and less than a kilometer from dal lake.

Views of dholadhar range are amazing. Best viewing point of this area, if you guys are going to mcleodganj must visit naddi View Point. If you are psychology fit, then you should walk from mcleodganj to naddi village, because there are many beautiful scenes on the way!

A visit is highly recommended – the place is incredibly picturesque, located just 5 kilometers from McLeod Ganj's main square. The best time to go is at sunset when the snow-capped mountains glow in golden red hues. Opting for a scooter over a car is advisable due to the narrow roads. Few maggi points and small shops offer a chance to savor food while soaking in the beautiful scenery. Plan to arrive before 5:30 for the sunset view. No entrance tickets are required; you can pay Rs. 10 to locals with binoculars to glimpse the Triund trek, waterfall, temple, and more. If you're in McLeod Ganj, this spot is a must-visit. You can also visit Dal lake on the way

The serenity of the surroundings and the crisp mountain air create a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for those seeking solace. Naddi Viewpoint is a photographic marvel, capturing the essence of the majestic Himalayas. A visit here guarantees not just a view but an experience that etches itself into your memory.

Naddi view point is just about 4.5 km, 15 minutes uphill drive from McLeod Ganj. The view Pont offers a beautiful view, including higher ranges. When we visited in the end of September, there was no snow on the higher hills. Just before the snow starts melting in summers, the view with snow-covered mountains may give a much better view. Drive from McLeod Ganj to the view Pont is good. Dal Lake is almost midway and is worth a stop, en route

Calm and Serene are the two words that can be used to describe this site. Beautiful valley covered by mountains and greenery, you can see the Dauladhar ranges from here. Also has a seperate sunset point where you can stay for some time to enjoy the peaceful view and have some snacks. You can see triund , waterfall , temple , village and few other points through a telescope.

The view from this place is magical, mesmerizing and spectacular. The snow capped mountain appears within touching distance. The other side of the hilltop which gives a nice view of the sunset among the mountains. People gather to give it a fun atmosphere. There are food options through small restaurants which provide food and snacks (a little bit higher price) but Sunset gives some great spectacular views.

It is worth visiting in case you are nearby McLeodganj. You can checkout Dal Lake as well which is enroute to this View Point. At the end of the trail, you will find Sahajyog Centre where you can get a free Yog lesson. It can be a fruitful experience if you want to know you more.

Beautiful view point, the quotes written on the trail were so thoughtful and added relevance to the place. Go to find and just breathe, live in momeng - watch the Himalayas, lush green trees, listen to the birds, noise of the forest and come back stronger. PS - Don’t litter and carry your own bottle :)

So, I visited at the start of October which is also the start of Autumn which means colder weather, and early sunrise which was ideal for this type of tourist-based place. In the late winter, the snow & extreme weather might not be as pleasant while in summer, you'll have to wait until 7:00 PM or later for it. You can get some lovely photos, and click some lovely photos as well as enjoy the Rs. 10 Telescope to see a waterfall, a temple, and some other points in the mountain range.

Situated further up from Dal Lake. Originally people visited here for the temple, now it is famous for the viewpoint. View from this place is amazing. Do pay 10/- for the telescope to view snow mountains, small waterfall and a temple which are hard to spot. There are good Hotels in the vicinity to stay away from crowd of Mcleodganj.

    Sunset point

  • 4/5 Jagriti S. 3 years ago on Google
Well naddi view point is basically a walkable distance if you are near McLeod Ganj circle. The best time to visit here is in evening during sunset to observe sunset. It's surrounded by shops where you can sit eat and wait for time to go by. It's at good height observe the scenery and enjoy your Maggie. Well don't go there if it's raining or the season is cloudy as you won't be able to see anything if any of the above weather is active. Well I got bit lucky as clouds were playing escape games with us that day. Else you can see there is good fog in the sky and clouds have surrounded the entire view.

Naddi View Point - Perfect location to view massive Dhauladhar Range at such a close distance, no walking or trekking involved, no more stress on knees! , The view is subjected to weather. It's mostly cloudy at this point. Enjoy food bites in cafes around with serene beauty of the Himalyas at stone throwing distance.
