We jumped off a waterfall, swam in three different pools of water and had a blast. No need to spend hours and hours here. You may need a guide to get you to the village first. Totally worth it!

It definitely worth the trip from Jacmel. I took a 40 mins moto (motorcycle ride). It costs around 250 G. The water is gorgeous blue.

Such an amazing place!! The views on the drive up are incredible, the hike is beautiful, and the water is so gorgeous and refreshing. Our guides Mackenzie & Luckson were the best! They picked fruit for us to try while we were hiking and they helped us across the slippery spots. We purchased fresh coconut once we got to the last waterfall and it was delicious! Make sure you ask about the mermaids that live in the waterfall. There is a store at the beginning of the hike that sells beautiful art. This place is a must see if you are in the area!

This is a fun trip is you are ever in Southeast Haiti. It is about an hour drive outside of Jacmel through the hills and along some mountains. It's a long drive to get there and the road is rough. When we got there the nice guide told us it would be a 10 mn walk to the falls. It wasn't... One of the many parts of Haiti that are magically beautiful. Jacmel is home to my beautiful grandmother who raised me. I visited Bassin Bleu a few years back, it was such a memorable experience.
