Hey Guys and Gals, Just finished spending the day in Labadee, Haiti and thought I could give a few thoughts. We are on Royal Carribean Wonder of the Seas which is at about 75% capacity with 5300 or so guest they said. We got to the area about 9:30 - 10 am.  The beach areas were not crowded at all with plenty of lounge chairs and palm trees. We stopped at one of the first beach areas along the north shore on Adrenaline Beach, #19 on the map.  We laid down our towels and stuff and went for a walk when we found a much better area further along Adrenaline Beach toward #40 on the map. The reason this is better as it has a paying bar in the water but it also has 5 or 6 shaded palm tree type structures out in the water so you can wade out in the water and still be in and out of the sun.  This was very enjoyable.  Water depth varied form waist to neckline in areas. This location is also good if you have a snorkel set and want to float around the rock jetty and look at a couple same fish.  Just waking around we were able to look down and saw a possible blue and yellow tang and a different yellow fish. Lunch was close by and we were in the shade of our umbrella and palm tree most of the day.   On the way back to the boat we took the long way to Cumbus Cove, Nellie's Beach, and Barefoot beach. This time of the day was about 2pm and it was getting really hot.  This side of the island did not have any shade areas out in the water. We walked to #16 on the map, the Barefoot tram station.  We boarded a tram headed further into the island.  After one stop at the Town Square tram station (#26k) at the end we returned toward the boat.  There were a lot of people attempting to get on the tram at Town Square Side note.  If you are crusing here along the same path, a starboard cabin would be best to get all of the views while docked at Labadee and on the way to San Juan. This is a quick look. I will edit this more after the cruise. Hope this helps.

Our favorite Royal Caribbean port! From the amazing beaches to the exotic hiking trails, there is so much to do in this beautiful area. We also did a single rider roller coaster that was very unique. Tons to do for all ages!

If you love to vacation in the hot sun on a beautiful beach, this is the place for you. Royal Carribean's Labadee Port is very walkable, with multiple beaches close. There was no shortage of places to lounge in the shade or bars to get a cold drink at. My only complaint was that it was hot, HOT, H-O-T the day we spent at Labadee... which is expected, so grab your suit and sunscreen and hop in that beautiful water.

Great time. Royal did a very nice job with this entire property. It has a really cool vibe to it and is really beautiful. There is a lot to do while you are exploring the property for the day, or you can simply just lounge on the beach or in a cabana and soak up he sun. If you have the drinking package on the ship you will also have the drinking package for the day on the island as well which is great. The water was crystal clear and the beach was nice. All the staff were very welcoming and pleasant. We did the zip line as well and really enjoyed the experience. If one of our other royal ships stopped here again we wouldn’t complain.

Cruising to Labadee? This is a quiet place compared to other cruise ports. The vendors have little stalls. Chairs and Umbrellas, beach beds with canopies with plenty of ways to get your vitamin D and salt water needs met. The water is shallow and rocky so bring your water shoes and snorkel to explore. Good food and drinks served by the ship staff with a little help from the local friends. Your RCCL Sea-pass works here.

A beautiful place to enjoy a cruise ship stop. Such sweet locals and a beautiful island. The Royal Caribbean Cruise line has a very nice setup on Labadee with beach cabanas, shopping, zip line and other excursions to offer. A pleasant island stop on a Caribbean cruise to relax and enjoy your vacation.🏖️🛳️

Royal Caribbean's private resort is amazing! So, onto to travel tips: arrive early and get you and your party some chairs. If you come early you can take your time to find the perfect spot to enjoy the day. Pack what you need for the day which is a towel, sunscreen and some cash for shopping. I found the resort food to be pretty good. There serve the usual hot dogs and hamburgers, but try the chicken and their special flavored cole slaw. Your drink packages are the same as if you were on the ship so don't worry there. Explore the resort and if you do understand that it is BIG. When you visit the shopping area from the locals be prepared to be harangued ad nauseam. The shops we bought from were run by the Haitian women who are sweet, kind and non confrontational. The best place to shop in peace is the market building. The dancers and entertainment are amazing and should be appreciated by tipping or by giving them a smile. It is a super cool place to visit and I look foward to coming back and seeing it again.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. I'd give it a 5 if it weren't for the pushy locals. Watch your wives and kids. The locals at the shops tend to try and separate couples to sell more.

We never left the port but there was no reason to! This was our favorite stop on our cruise (also stopped in Falmouth, Jamaica and Nassau, Bahamas). We didn’t plan any excursions but people seemed to love the zipline. We just went out and found a beach and rotated like rotisserie chickens. The drink package carried over from the ship so we found our favorite bartender (Vincent - Explorer of the Seas) and posted up. Food was provided around 11am and then we went over to the market area of the port to shop around. The locals who work that area pretty much bombard you but we like haggling prices and finding fun things. There isn’t anyone walking along the beach trying to sell you things which was super nice. We’re already talking about going back!

Absolutely loved this place . When we went there via a R.C. L. cruise there was no dock so we had to tender in to the beach area. I understand their is a new dock there for the cruise ships. This is your beach day , do nothing but suntan , swim enjoy the odd cocktail or cold beer and relax. We found a hammock and some chairs close to the water, it was great. There is some local shopping on the Island , my wife can attest to that. The locals we met were friendly and we both realized they are there to make a living. We enjoyed a great B.B.Q. on the island thanks to the cruise line. We enjoyed it . Would love to go back.

This island was AMAZING. Yes it is a private island owned by Royal so it takes away from the authentic feel you would see on other types of islands but either way its still beautiful with so much to do. I think it is one of my favorite ports because of the variety and the scenery. I love extreme thrills, water and good food and it has it all. Like everyone else said, please watch out for that dang market! I call it Hussle Village because they will hound you down. Outside of that, everything is else is great! If you want to know more check out my full review just search on Youtube MrBucketlist Labadee Haiti for my full tour and review.

Boy is it HOT here!! The area is very nice, but it is separated from the "real Haiti" of course. Hopefully the Haitians know what a beautiful place they live in an capitalized on it one day. The water is crystal clear and so warm! It's beautiful! There was no shade where we were but that's because we got off our ship at a later time than the rest of the cruisers. I didn't buy anything from here but I would've purchased something from the locals vice the cruise line anyways. They are very aggressive in trying to sell their items, but if you are not a scary person, there's nothing to worry about. Just say "no" and keep it moving. Other than that, it's your typical cruise "owned" resort.

Watch your stuff! Watch your children! Salesmen are pushy foe you to buy. Don’t take your eyes off your children. Lots of activities and a nice beach!

⭐⭐⭐ Labadee, Haiti, boasts stunning beaches with plenty of seating options. However, during our visit in January, it was quite windy, which affected our experience. While the area is beautiful, we encountered some challenges with pushy locals aggressively promoting their merchandise.

We stopped here on our Royal Caribbean cruise, and this place is amazing. They have an incredible layout here, and we loved spending a day at the beach and just relaxing. There is plenty of space on the multiple beaches, and food and drinks are all within a short walk no matter where you are. We loved watching the zip lines go across the water, and the next time we may even try it. This is a great, safe place to take the family for the entire day the ship is here. Just make sure to bring the sunscreen.

Royal Caribbean doesn't promote this as their private beach, it is the ship and purchase excursions online before cruise otherwise you miss out due to being sold out. Get the wave runner excursion if you can when on sale at Royal Caribbean. The inflatable water park can get as low as $15 pp

Beautiful place, nice weather, clean sea water, attractive entertainment. The only way you can come here is cruising with Royal Caribbean cruise

This is a great way to spend one of your cruise days. Especially when you wake up and you're already there! Your all inclusive drink package is honoured at Labadee which is fantastic. Lots to do including just sitting on the beach and soaking up the rays while watching the people on the zip lines go by. The floating bar is quite nice too. Always great people and conversations there. Food/drink options are good as well. A nice break from being on the ship. Would definitely do again for a third time!

Private beach. Tourists cannot visit it unless they come to Haiti by cruise. It's sad because this is one of a few places tourists who stay in hotel in Cap Haitien would visit. So basically, you should not come to Haiti at all and visit the country, good places are private, the rest of country is as it is, poor and dangerous

It was interesting to be on a private area from Royal Caribbean on Haiti. Everything looked great. My only problem was the trash in the ocean. I would say they should clean it up but it may be arriving from other places around the country

Our favorite port of 6 stops! Has something for everyone -- from the tame to the adventurous! Very clean, staff was friendly, good food. We spent most of our time at Nellie's Beach and it was glorious! Was able to pick up some souvenirs too! Can't wait to go back in September!
