Extremely friendly staff, gorgeous, well-manicured grounds (but did not like the monkeys, birds and other animals held captive in display cages!). Food was good, breakfast buffet was fantastic, rooms were okay but you don't spend much time in them so it's not a problem. The beach is stunning!

This place is so Beautiful. The whole place speaks of relaxation. Everyone is pretty nice. You will get away from everything here. The only drawbacks the wifi is good but I had a tough time trying to keep my phone connected the single would go in and out. But I didn't care about that because this place is Truly a paradise!!!! Every is very simple in the rooms. The price is cheap compared to what you would pay for something like this in Florida. But Florida has nothing on this place the Colors here our so dynamic. Look no further for a get away vacation

If you want peace and quiet, this is the beach resort I'd choose. It's smaller than it's neighbor, but that's part of what makes it great. The staff are very kind and helpful. The dive shop adjacent to the resort is any snorkeler or diver's dream - you can bring your own gear or rent from them. The massage on the pier at the end of the day with (almost) only the sound of the water hitting the sand can't be missed. The food is all prepared in-house and fresh for each meal, and it's all authentic Haitian cuisine. And in typical island style, there's no rushing about, so you can relax free from the hectic pace and noise of the city.

Moulin Sur Mer is an amazing place to stay. The accommodations are great, and the grounds are extensive and absolutely lovely. The ocean water at the resort is quite clear, calm and lovely. They have options for kayaking and more available (though I did not try them). Staff is very helpful. Food is exquisite. Juices (for cocktails and more) are made from fresh fruits, and are delicious. This place is not just for expats, which makes it nice, and has such a relaxed vibe. WiFi wasn't entirely reliable, but then in this paradise maybe you should just turn off your phone :)

Horrible experience. We had lunch and dinner on our first day and had food poisoning. 0 night life/ entertainment. They spread bug repellent around dinner time which stink up the whole yard for hours. As if that wasn’t bad enough, you still have to shoo mosquitoes away from your food and your body. You have to race back in your room at night before the mosquitoes follow you in. I actually had a better time talking to the mosquitoes than their customer service. We left 2 days early and it wasn’t early enough.

It was beautiful but it is a very sad place - the history that comes with it. This was a slave sugar cane plantation and the resort part of it is where the European in charged of the slaves lived. The expectancy of life of a Haitian slave was 1 year and a half because the European worked them really hard for the sugar cane. The food was very good and everything was very clean. I did get sick after eating here because my stomach was not used to the environment yet. The dj and dance floor was very nice. The rooms r expensive for the experience. Not worth 100+$ per night. I think it is definitively overpriced. This place should be more in the 70$ per night range.

The staff was very polite. When they say everything included, yes everything included. The food was spectacular. I would back anytime I have free time.

They just reopened. the services are not yet at the top. the rooms need to be refurbished, the toilets are very good, the welcome is warm, lack of female presence, the courtyards also need to be reorganized

Beautiful tropical view and kids’ friendly. Staffs are very nice and welcoming. Although it is a resort, I feel like they are overly priced. They are selling Walmart bathing suits for $70. I found it to be outrageous. The sellers by the sea will try to sell you souvenirs for 4x the price if you were to buy them outside of the resort. Watch out when you are paying with Haitian money, they will try to rob you blind. Other than that, The food is awesome and the servers are very nice.

Nice and clean place. Very family oriented. A few different bars and restaurants. Everyone playing their own music and it's all mixed into a cacaphony that drives you mad. I suppose it's cultural but personally I'd appreciated the possibility of some silence.
