L'hôpital Espoir (HE) fournit un service de qualité à la population en général et aux riverains de Delmas 75, en particulier. L'espace est propre et attrayant et ne dégage pas l'odeur des désinfectants caractérisant les hôpitaux publics. Le personnel médical prend en charge les patients dès leur arrivée. Les médecins et infirmières forment une équipe dynamique. De plus, l'H.E dispose d'une grande pharmacie et d'un labo. L' H.E reçoit tous les assurés quant à ceux de l'OFATMA, ils doivent payer eux-mêmes les frais de consultations, d'hospitalisation, car le conseil d'administration de l'hôpital Espoir (H.E) a résilié son contrat avec l'État haïtien. Celui-ci selon plus d'un n'a pas honoré son engagement envers l'hôpital. Triste réalité pour des milliers assurés de l'OFATMA sur lesquels le trésor public effectue un prélèvement automatique sur leur traitement.

One of the worst so called hospitals I ever had the misfortune of visiting. The service was so bad that we had to hire a private nurse. The nurses and doctors DO NOT CARE for their patients. Unfriendly and not helpful AT ALL. They think that you are always bothering them. They treat their patients and family members of patients as though they're subhuman. They nickel and dim you and they try to cheat you if you don't pay attention. If there was an option for no stars I would give it 0 stars. The service

They don't care about their patients at all, they treat them like research subjects. You have to find advice from other specialists after been in place like this.

Had my mom admitted and had to stay 3 days to take care of her while I slept in the chair besides her. Nurses never check on patients or care for patients. They just come in twice a day to take blood pressure readings. Had to hire a nurse to watch her half of the day while I rested. Mom had kidney failure and was already stage for terminal cancer. I asked doctor to make her comfortable and ease her pain. He tried to push the dialysis service on me without end. I advised him, no. Mom wanted to die with dignity and pain free. I arrived at the hospital 4 hours later (do to traffic) My mom was screaming in pain nonstop. When asked why she wasn’t on morphine, they told me she was fine. All she had to do was urinate. I begged them for pain medicine, they dragged their feet and finally told me I needed the doctor to give the orders. My mom ended in extreme pain for 8 hours unnecessarily. Paid desposits during length of stay. When paying final bill deposits mysteriously went missing from account. Met with administration to track payment down( thank god I had my credit card receipt). Manager apologized and promised discount on bill. When my mom died the next day, discounts disappeared and new extra charges appeared on bill for medication the nurse that I hired verified they never gave her. When I mentioned the revised discount offered to me the day before, the cashier feigned ignorance. When I asked to speak to the administrator, she advised me their office is closed on the weekends. While my mom laid there passed away. I just paid my bill and called the funeral home to pick her remains up. Please before being a loved on here, Do you research.
