Very basic. Nothing spectacular. We expected more from what some of the reviews said. Potatoes were cold & over cooked. Crabcake seemed to be all batter. Waitress put out silverware on the table instead of on a napkin. Party of 2 seated about 20 mins after arriving. Had to wait another 10-15 just to place our order. Breakfast ends at 11:30am. Crowd died down afterwards.

Update: today I went to eat again but this time with my family we walked inside and rapidly the waitress came to us and informed us that is a waiting time we agreed to wait in less than 10 minutes she came back and gave us a table she was super friendly and she also were extremely friendly with my kids sha made us feel welcome Mahalo to those two waitresses I will change the 3 starts to 5 starts. Food was ok, came cold potatoes over cooked the Loco Moco was good but was cold too. We had a not so good experience there the person brings the food and had some orders that we did not asked for we told her and she got a bad attitude and said someone get it we told we did not ordered it and she kept saying the same thing. Service was not the best.

Breakers is a great local spot up on the north shore. I love supporting local as much as possible. The fish tacos are fresh caught fish and the pork adobo was delicious and huge. The Mai Tai is to die for!!! I would recommend sitting at the bar, Nikol was amazing and attentive. E.J. took over for her and he was equally attentive. A must stop place!!

Best part of this experience was the gecko that visited when we had finished eating (the 2 stars are 100% for that little critter!!). Took an hour and a half and the service was exceptionally slow for being no more busy than they were when we got there. Had to ask multiple times for refills. People who arrived 20 minutes after us got their food before us. The fish tacos had great flavor, so I would recommend them if you don't mind the wait.

Have you ever been on vacation and thought hmm I really miss cafeteria food?? Well you’re in luck the loco moco will give you nostalgic feeling of being back in elementary with mystery meat patty and package brown gravy. Whats best about the experience? Well the price from this is raised from 2 dollars to 15 dollars, you know because now you’re an adult. If you don’t miss cafeteria food, don’t trust your friends suggestions and order the loco moco, go for the pork spring rolls and the poke bowl. The wild chickens caught my attention but next time I will stick to other restaurants and ignore the chickens, even though they are quite convincing. P.s my friend finished the food- not I, as he is was hit with an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia and satisfaction

Manager needs to learn customer service. We had a few simple requests that were flat out denied for no sensible reason. The beer was cool NOT cold and the food was meh at best. The one bright spot was our server Melody. Would not recommend unless you got lost in the jungle for days and this was the first place you found.

Food was very good. Environment was North Shore! The chicken population is soaring. Thursday night is Trivia Night, so it's gonna be packed. Come early if you want dinner.

The service was fine, not friendly but she did get us what we needed when we needed it. The food was not good. Over cooked or undercooked. Just awful. The sweet chili wings were plated pretty but thats where the good ends. They were undercooked and I'm not even sure what cut of meat they were... the fish and chips were overdone to the point they were inedible and the pizza tasted of a rejected frozen pizza, actually comparing them to a frozen pizza is probably an insult to all frozen pizzas. It. Was. Bad. Especially for an $80 meal

I'd give it a 2.5 just ok. Had about a.15-20 minute wait at 11:20 am. Husband had loco moco he liked it, but he's not to picky. I tried it too and thought it was just ehhh. I order the bloody mary which looks good but I didn't even finish half of it. I got the grilled fish platter and was not impressed at all for $20. the fish was really bland, I had to ask for salt and pepper to give it a little flavor, even the mango sauce that is supposed to flavor it was bland. The fish itself was kinda hardish, like not moist/fresh. For 2 people our bill was $50, with tip it was $60. Definitely not worth it for mediocre food. we got better food at the food trucks. Same with the service is was just mediocre, not rude but definitely not friendly.

Really hungry after a day of snorkeling, and craving burgers, we stopped in on the advice of our friend (a local). Great call for a late lunch at 3pm! Our meals were delicious; we ordered three grilled burgers with cheese and one teriyaki burger with bacon & avocado. All perfectly prepared. Btw the cheese, bacon & avocado are all add-ons but I didn't catch that info until our buddy paid the bill without any fuss (thanks, Dave!). Anyway, our son ordered the kalua pork fries and the coconut clam chowder. I'm not a big chowder fan, being from the East Coast, but this coconut chowder rocks! Very mild flavor with a Thai flair. That and the pork fries were quickly devoured. Beautiful views from the covered patio, looking across farm land at the edge of the marketplace. Very nice with the breeze blowing. And our friendly server was wonderful. My only complaint is the wooden bar stools on the covered patio: the seats are ridiculously small and if you're bare-legged you're gonna stick! Be warned & take a shirt to throw over your seat. Otherwise a lovely dining experience. If we're ever back that way we'll stop by again!

This is a great little restaurant/bar on the Haleiwa strip. Stopped in here at 9am and grabbed some breakfast and a beer or two on my day off and have zero complaints. Ended up getting the "Haleiwa Special" breakfast item and two beers.. Was great and the service was great too!

Lunch isn't served until noon on the weekend but the Bloody Mary was spot on, so I was occupied for the wait. Burger was ok, nothing special. They make a home-made pineapple sauce that amped the burger up, so that helped. Couple beside me had the fish tacos, they said they were good. Watch out for the birds and chickens cause they're friendly!

Amazing service, clean restaurant, dog friendly. I had a bloody Mary. It came with bacon, pickles, olive, lemon and lime. You could choose to have it with habanero- infused vodka. My partner had a lava flow and mai tai. He assures me the lava flow was delicious and I can attest to the Mai tai. Only better one I've had was at Mama's Fish House on Maui. I had plantation tea with my meal, and as always, it didn't disappoint. Our appetizer was crab cakes... massive Crab cakes, served with chipotle tartar sauce and a papaya salsa. I cannot stress how good these were! I had pork adobo with rice, mac salad, and fresh tossed salad. My partner had chicken Pasta.

So far, I visited here three times. All servers were so sufficient and friendly. I still cannot decide my favorite .... tons of #glutenfree options. The bartender is a true pro. Also, if you don’t like chickens or mosquitos, stay inside. They are very covid safe ... with spacing, ventilating and cleaning. #supportlocalbusiness

The Hostess was very polite and friendly. We were able to enjoy some outdoor seating with a good view of the mountains. The hostess even showed our keiki's a game to play to keep them occupied. The waitress was friendly and prompt. She made ensured that everyone was doing well. We ordered the coconut shrimp, which was flavorful and had the right amount of sweetness. Also, very good sized portion for an appetizer. The kids had the grilled cheese sandwich and chicken tenders which they enjoyed. We also ordered the fish and chips and the blue Hawaiian flat bread. The fish was moist and the batter was crisp. The fries tasted good but a little salty. The Blue Hawaiian flat bread was very good. It was fresh and not to heavy. Honesty, the fish and chips and the flat bread could of been shared that's how good the portions are. Mecko the Gecko even hungout with us.
