I come to this store quite often, usually when I visit the asda branch that it's next to, and it's great. There's a fantastic range of products at good prices, all kinds from food and drink to cleaning products to DIY stuff to pet supplies. Very useful to get multiple products under one roof at a good price. Also, there's always a nice environment, and the staff who work there are great too. One guy especially, who at one point went to a lot of trouble to help me. I was buying some rufus tinned dog food (unfortunately, the store no longer sells them) which were either 39p each, or any 3 for £1, and there was a choice of either beef or chicken flavor. I got them 6 at a time, 3 of each flavor, to donate to the Merseyside branch of Dogs Trust (where I'm a volunteer and ex-work placement). One day, there were only 2 beef tins on the shelf, I rummaged, looking for more, re stacking the ones I didn't want at the time, not knowing that he was standing behind me, waiting to tidy the shelf up when I'd finished. I was with my mum at the time and told her the problem. He then went and looked through all of the storage, including the whole warehouse, looking for just 1 tin! He returned later and apologized, saying that there were no more beef tins in stock, but he could order me some, which I agreed to. (I got a 4th chicken tin to make up the 3 for £1). He then ordered £8 worth of the food for me, which I picked up at a later date. I then later told one of the other staff about it, passing on my compliments. He then saw me and my mum and said, 'hiya girls', clearly pleased with what had happened. I recommend this store. The only problem, is that it's one of the worst shops for going into when you only need a little bit, and you come out with a lot more, due to the fantastic deals.

Decent amount of choice in store but wish they had more indoor plants.

Lots of quality goods at fair prices. They need to overhaul their shopping trollies though. They are all jammed together and the release locks don't work when using tokens.

It's a great store I can't understand some of the negative reviews to be honest. It's a bargain store. You're not going to find high end quality fgs .

A good sized b & m with ample parking, bit of a pain though if only buying stones etc, you have to traipse thru the entire busy store with a flatbed trolley to get to the garden bit

Today's visit wasn't pleasant at all. As not not many people have cash with them so I had a problem getting shopping trolley because I just didn't have £1 coin. However I still managed to buy mu plants just with the shoping basket. By the till I told to staf that I need this basket just to take my plants to the car and I will bring it back as I can squeeze my flowers in a bag. But then as soon I left the shop the lady from till came outside and was checking me, do I actually going to bring a basket back or no, as I understand that by my accent she understood that I'm not English. I brought back so finally she could go back to work. Is very sad that is simple racist attitude is still bothering me but didn't make me feel good either... so please fix your trolleys, that customers who don't have cash could use it as well, then maybe people like me will avoid the racist cashier attitude🤷‍♀️

I visited here on Friday and I cannot compliment the staff enough for how helpful they were during my visit. I was more than impressed with how friendly and accommodating they were to help me with my shopping, especially the two gentlemen in the garden stores that helped retrieve the stone circle flags off the racking for me and take it to my car. Thank you for a very pleasant shopping experience.

The operative in the garden section was very helpful, I needed to buy some brackets to fix the trellis onto my fence but couldn't find the right ones, he showed me how to modify the ones that were available which worked a treat.

Love this B&M, garden section is decently stocked and some fantastic bargains. Everyone knows you go in for one thing and there is so many bargains you come out with bags full. Staff are friendly and approachable. One of the best around

I love browsing in B&M especially coming up to Christmas. There are some absolutely gorgeous creations if you're looking for a new theme this year. The added bonus is there's just about everything for the home/kitchen cupboards. The garden centre side of the store has lovely selection of annuals, herbaceous perennials, shrubs, trees and some fruit bushes.

This store used to stock wood shavings, meadow hay and Timothy hay. Now when I go it very rarely has any of them in stock. I can't remember the last time it had Timothy hay.

Really good store from groceries to homeware, diy ,pets and garden.only fault this time was the state of the plants, half dead due to lack of water,

Evening visit,7pm, store much quieter than in the day! Prices here are generally very good for our basics - they have a fridge and freezer section, outdoor area, home and garden stuff and basic groceries, soft drinks etc. Staff are helpful.

Only went for 4 things and they didn't have 2 of them, so it was a bit of a let down.

So many known brands for much lower prices than high street and other supermarkets. The garden centre is pretty good too with a variety of plants.
