This was a terrible experience such horrible customer service and so unprofessional! I called the same day that i wanted and appointment and i asked for layers, trim, and a blowout. They said it would cost about 60 dollars and i thought that was a great price. But at checkout I got charged about 90 dollars!!! I was so confused about this. Anyways at first on the phone they said that i can come in at 5 and my friends appointment was supposed to be right after mine at 5:30. we came in and they said that my appointment was 5:30 and hers at 6 i was a little confused but i just blew it off. then after waiting there for 30 minutes at 5:30 i asked when my appointment was gonna be and they said at around 6. They kept changing the times but once again i blew it off. I got my cut and it was fine she cut a bit too much off but i didn’t really mind to much. When she was blow drying my hair was probably the worst pain i’ve ever felt she was blow drying my scalp more then she was blow drying my hair! Don’t even get me started on my friends cut. she asked for a simple trim and she couldn’t even do that! It looked like an 8 year old got some scissors and chopped it. (the photo is my friends hair). they kept lowering prices when my friend kept saying she didn’t want the blow out. one of my other friends got the same thing i did and the woman gave her a “gift” and made it only 40 because she apparently looked like her sister! SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!! do not come here such terrible service i do not recommend.

Moxie of Wayne is my go to! The staff is kind and caring. Today I called Moxie for a last minute single color hair process and blowout and I figured they were booked but Melissa went above and beyond to get me an appointment no matter what. She was patient and so sweet. Thank you Moxie of Wayne!

Honestly, I booked this last minute because I ended up not going back home and staying at my mom's house. I went in with no expectations and nervous. But I left amazed and truly happy with my hair and makeup. My hair was done by this beautiful Lady who took the time to listen to me and do it exactly how I imagined it. I'm not a makeup person but Latoya took the time to truly take my elegant vision and turn it into reality. I will be driving to this location for any event the staff went above and beyond!!!!

i’ve never left a review on any place i’ve been to in my life but i feel like curly hair girls need to see this!! i paid $50 to get a blowout and i told them in advance that my hair is curly and will get frizzy if it’s not properly blow dried. it was a disaster. at one point i had two ppl working on my hair at once and i could feel the frizz get worse and worse. i then asked the stylist to redo it, it was still frizzy and NOT looking like the reference photo whatsoever. overall, i paid money to get a blowout i could’ve done with my revlon at home. the stylist couldn’t even part my hair in the middle, and made me do it myself. i was patient until the very end and couldn’t wait to leave. i regret coming here (only did it bc my go-to in packanack is closed on mondays).

Under New Management and customer service is definitely improved. The variety of services offered is big, which is great. You get it all done in 1 place. Hair, Make Up, Tan. I highly recommend Moxie of Wayne.

I booked my appointment online to get a wash cut and style, walk in for my appointment and it gets cancelled because they couldn’t do my hair!!!! If that’s the case then DO NOT BOOK ONLINE if you cannot accommodate the appointment!

I should have listened to the bad reviews. Appointment made 2 weeks ago for blow outs. was asked a few days before if I could move it earlier. I couldnt. Salon said it was okay and then canceled same day of Appointment.

Moxie in Wayne is the only salon that I'll ever go too because of my stylist, Victor. He has 20+ years of experience and really understands and listens to what YOU want for your hair. When I started going to him, it was because I had a hair crisis. He took the time to talk with me about what it was I wanted the end result to be for my hair. He made me feel comfortable, like I was in the best hands after a bad experience. My hair has never looked or felt better, I recommend him for anyone that is looking for a stylist that has a lot of experience and is always staying current with trends.

Update: I recently had a keratin treatment with Saliba and she is so amazing! She is very meticulous, sweet, and skilled. So happy I found her and will definitely be coming back to her next time. Great experience getting a blow out! Latoya and Katie were my stylists. They were friendly and quick, the facility was clean, and my hair turned out super cute! Will definitely be returning.

The stylist that gave me a blowout has no idea what she is doing. Worst blowout that I have ever received in my life. Paid nearly $60 for a blowout, right before a photo shoot, and she knew this. She over sprayed my hair with hairspray, after curling my hair with a flat iron... which I never asked for.... She said it would give my hair more "body" but instead, I felt that my hair was crunchy from being over sprayed. Then she told me she wasn't going to brush out the curls because I would lose the "bounce" right away... So to use my fingers to comb through my hair right before the shoot... Which I did.. But it didn't do my hair any favors... My hair just had too much hairspray so instead of it being soft and flowy, my hair looks stiff, crunchy and the fly aways in my photos are horrid. The top and sides of my hair looks like it is Unbrushed... I would've been better off going anywhere else, or even not getting a "blow out" at all. My pro photos are ruined.

I went in today and got my extensions moved up and a blow out. Both Jess and Jenny worked so well together , they were efficient and careful with my hair (real and fake) they didn’t rush. I had A great blow Out by Jess afterwards. I will Be coming back for some color extensions and another blow out!! Thanks guys my hair looks great !!

I took my daughter here to get highlights before the start of school. We waited over an hour for services to start even though we had an appt and then from start to finish services took close to 3 hrs. The highlights are terrible!! On one side there is a clear bleed and the the highlights start much further down from the top of her head than the other side. The color is also awful. We showed pictures of what we wanted and it isn’t even close. My daughters hair isn’t blonde so much as it is orange. I’m so upset. This cost me $200. They don’t have high level stylists here.

I absolutely loved my experience at Moxie Salon. The owner and her staff are extremely professional, welcoming, and above all - talented. I am getting married in the very near future and the Moxie salon makes me feel confident that I’m going to look my very best on my wedding day.
