I
really
wanted
to
take
the
time
to
share
my
positive
experience,
because
while
I
was
waiting
to
be
accepted
as
a
patient,
I
read
multiple
negative
reviews
that
scared
me.
I
felt
like
once
I
was
in,
it
was
a
well-oiled
machine
-
I
mean
this
in
a
good
way.
Everyone
had
the
same
knowledge
and
information
and
there
was
a
clear
plan
in
place
for
my
IVF
journey.
I
was
in
an
easy
to
follow
schedule
of
appointments
while
in
active
treatment,
and
the
nurses
overseeing
my
care
always
greeted
me
with
kindness
and
optimism.
I
actually
was
previously
misdiagnosed
at
the
IWK,
and
received
a
proper
diagnoses
at
the
AART.
During
the
2
weeks
leading
up
to
my
egg
retrieval,
I
would
go
in
every
other
day
for
blood
work
and
a
scan
and
I
would
be
in
and
out
fast,
with
timely
results.
The
pharmacist,
Al,
was
OUTSTANDING
with
explaining
the
injections,
and
was
so
patient
with
us
when
we
first
started.
All
of
the
nurses
were
very
fast
to
answer
my
many,
many,
many
questions
through
their
portal
messenger,
and
would
call
me
any
time
I
requested
a
phone
call.
My
appointments
were
always
on
time,
and
although
ALL
of
the
nurses
were
fantastic,
I
have
to
especially
shout
out
Una,
whose
kindness
helped
tremendously
during
a
very
emotional
process.
The
embryologists
work
very
hard,
and
it
was
interesting
to
see
them
working
on
my
eggs,
through
a
glass
partition,
during
my
egg
retrieval.
I
had
timely
communication
with
embryo
results,
and
the
staff
always
treated
me
with
sensitivity.
I
opted
for
a
fresh
transfer
on
Day
5.
The
OB
made
it
the
most
memorable
experience.
She
was
cheerful
and
made
me
feel
like
she
was
genuinely
excited
for
me
-
not
at
all
jaded
from
doing
this
for
numerous
women.
I
was
extremely
lucky
in
having
a
successful
transfer,
and
was
discharged
after
my
8
week
scan.
I
only
have
2
small
cons
-
the
first
being
that
with
IVF
pregnancies,
spotting
is
very
common,
and
there
was
a
time
where
my
spotting
was
heavier
and
I
requested
to
come
in
for
a
scan
(at
6
weeks)
and
was
denied.
I
was
told
itās
too
soon
to
see
anything,
but
I
had
read
so
many
posts
online
from
women
in
other
parts
of
Canada
that
had
similar
scares
and
did
go
in
for
a
scan
and
receive
reassurance.
I
know
that
a
scan
canāt
stop
a
pregnancy
loss
from
happening,
but
it
can
provide
immense
relief
when
everything
is
ok.
My
second
recommendation
to
better
improve
the
facility
would
be
for
the
capability
of
in-house
HCG
testing.
They
have
the
lab
capability
to
measure
other
hormone
levels
during
IVF
but
for
HCG
I
had
to
go
through
the
government
blood
labs
which
often
are
fully
booked,
and
make
it
difficult
to
get
an
apt
when
you
need
one.
That
being
said,
I
still
confidently
give
this
clinic
FIVE
stars,
and
if
youāre
waiting
to
get
in,
I
hope
this
review
reassures
you
that
you
may
also
have
an
amazing
experience
with
great
results.
Wishing
everyone
good
luck
on
their
journey
