We
had
urgent
medical
tests
needed
and
all
appointments
were
booked.
We
didn't
have
to
wait,
it
was
very
efficient
and
didn't
take
up
our
whole
day.
Now
the
Emergency
department
is
a
different
story.
I
have
found
the
staff
to
be
very
rude
and
disrespectful,
I
had
to
ask
for
one
nurse
not
to
come
back
to
my
room
because
of
her
attitude
and
treatment
towards
me.
Was
unprofessional
and
gave
me
hematomas
on
both
my
upper
arms
by
tying
the
band
too
tightly
for
blood
work.
She
is
only
to
make
2
attempts
because
getting
help
with
blood
work,
however,
she
kept
sticking
me
and
it
hurt.
Finally
the
professionals
came
in
and
one
stick
and
they
had
the
blood
work
needed
and
told
me
I
shouldn't
have
hematomas
on
my
upper
arms.
They
took
months
to
go
away!
Emergent
or
not,
unless
you
are
dying
or
bleeding
out
or
can't
breathe
be
happy
to
wait
18-20
hours
for
treatment
even
if
very
I'll
and
in
a
lot
of
pain.
The
ambulance
will
get
you
in
no
faster,
you
will
lay
on
their
stretches
in
the
hallway.
Or
you
sit
and
wait.
I
know
the
staff
is
working
hard,
but
that
is
no
excuse
to
be
rude
or
hurtful
to
patients.
Especially
when
if
you
say
anything
offensive
you
can
be
kicked
out.
Well
don't
harass
your
patients
either!
What's
our
recourse
and
we
are
the
ones
who
are
sick.
I
know
they
are
under
staffed
and
work
long
shifts
and
it's
unfair,
but
when
you
enter
this
profession
you
know
what
you
are
signing
up
for,
primary
patient
care.
And
when
people
are
sick
and
don't
feel
well,
they
are
not
at
their
best.
However,
being
rude
or
disrespectful
is
not
acceptable
on
either
end.
I
have
always
been
polite
and
respectful
but
I
have
not
been
shown
the
same
level
of
respect
at
all.
It's
not
difficult
to
be
kind
and
if
a
patient
is
more
than
cooperative
then
there
is
no
need
for
the
disrespect.
When
it's
an
emergency,
we
can't
all
get
dolled
up,
and
Fox
out
hair
or
even
change
our
clothes.
We
have
to
come
as
we
are.
I
imagine
if
I
could
present
myself
differently
I
would
receive
better
care.
So
even
when
it's
been
advised
I
go
to
hospital,
I
avoid
it
completely,
unless
it
becomes
life
threatening,
because
time
and
time
again
has
shown
me
how
I
will
be
treated.
