I feel welcome and free to be me. The one on one time in a class helps me to be able to focus, learn and grow. The people definitely make the club. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to begin their jiu-jitsu journey and the price doesn't hurt either 😊

Hands down the kindest & most knowledgeable people around. From staff to students, there's a very strong sense of community and welcoming that always leaves me feeling grateful I got out of bed and made my way down to train, no matter how much I didn't feel like it. You'll always leave feeling welcomed, and also humbled by the wealth of experience these people have to share.

Maritime Jiujitsu is by far the finest and the best jiujitsu clubs in Halifax, you will find the best instructors/coaches here. All the instructors are highly knowledgeable, technical, fun to train with, the provide personal attention to every trainee. If you are looking forward to competing professionally or learning recreational jiujitsu/wrestling/kick boxing or just simply trying to get back in shape, this is the place for you.
