Found this place by chance and stopped there for lunch today. This place is amazing! Luca, who I think is the owner, came around to explain the menu to me and have a nice chat. The food was a little pricey, but well worth it! I can see this quickly becoming one of my favourite lunch spots!

From the entrance i smell the original italian food. After we order i allmost forget to take pictures, we eat first 🤣. The food was really tasty and we also ordered for home lasagna and a bottle of Chianti red wine. Giuseppe and Luca are amazing host, The atmosphere is verry friendly. We recomend for all who want to discover Italian flavours! I will return at least once on week. You have to try minestrone soup and limoncelo and prosseco. Tell them what sauce or flavour you prefere and they will surprise you everytime! Dont forget to order focaccia!

Lasagna and pizza were very tasty and warm. What was a pleasant surprise was the big cup for the tea, I always suffer with the little cups so this is wonderful. They provide a jar of cold water as well and the desserts were delicious: tiramisu and canoli. Price is fair and service perfect.

The staff and plating were good. Didn't speak to the Owner. The spaghetti bolognese tasted strongly of fish and little else... rather disgusting. The regular spaghetti somehow had no flavour at all. The only parmesan in sight was a bit of the powdered stuff that came from the kitchen. Staff never asked how it was. Very few patrons compared to next door. You're sadly better off spending equal or less at East Side Mario's or probably any other Italian place

Decent Italian food on the harbour front. Good prices and portion sizes. The owner(?) seemed to be having a bad day and wasn’t super friendly, but the food was good and we were served quickly. We’ll likely come back the next time we’re in town if we need a quick bite to eat in the area.

Went here for the first time and I really enjoyed it. The servers were really friendly and our food came super fast. I can recommend the margherita pizza and Caesar salad (margherita pizza if you are vegetarian, Caesar salad is not), the large Caesar salad is big enough to split between two people. It was very affordable for the whole meal too. The patio is nice when the weather is fine... all in all really cute spot

Whether you're visiting Halifax or a local this is an incredible place. 10's across the board. Staff are friendly and polite without being overbearing. The food is the stand out, when they say traditional Italian cuisine they mean it. Highly recommend the pizza which you can buy by the slice to go. Love it.

Sapori Italian Street Food is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the cozy and inviting ambiance. The menu boasts a delectable selection of authentic Italian street food that takes your taste buds on a journey to Italy. Every dish I tried was a burst of flavors, perfectly showcasing the essence of Italian cuisine. The quality of ingredients used in their dishes is evident, and the attention to detail in each preparation is commendable. Whether it's their mouthwatering pasta, scrumptious paninis, or delightful desserts, Sapori Italian Street Food never disappoints. The service is impeccable, with a team that is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing or indulging in multiple dishes during one visit. Furthermore, the prices are reasonable, given the outstanding quality of food and service. Sapori Italian Street Food provides a top-notch dining experience without breaking the bank. If you're a fan of authentic Italian flavors or simply looking to explore new culinary delights, I wholeheartedly recommend Sapori Italian Street Food. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking a five-star experience in Italian cuisine. Trust me; you won't be disappointed!

Having spent time in Italy, we were interested in trying this restaurant. Although it is called "Italian Street Food", I think it is mostly just an Italian restaurant. We arrived at 3:00 pm on a rainy Tuesday and were the only patrons in the restaurant, so we had exceptional service, getting personal table service where you normally order at the counter. The food was delicious and service was excellent. The location is great with lots of activity in the area and you can easily walk here from the Ferry.

Found this place while wandering around the waterfront. We decided to stay for dinner and it did not disappoint!! Daughter had the Margherita Slice, I tried the chicken Parmigiano with spaghetti and the wife had the lasagna. The chicken parm was amazing and the lasagna melted in your mouth. Try this place out it was amazing.

Very friendly service, fast and a great location with patio on the Harbourfront. The food is overly priced compared to rest of the restaurants in the city, and the portions are alright (typical Italian restaurant). I think there are better restaurants in the neighbourhood that offer more for the value. The food I ordered was not spectacular, and mediocre at best when compared with other Italian restaurants. All I can recommend are the drinks, not the food.

Good food but VERY overpriced.. in my opinion of course. Ignore this review if you're rich - the food is pretty good here! BUT the last thing I expected when I walked into a place with plastic chairs, paper tablecloth, no table service, etc. was to pay $27 for coffee and a caprese salad! I was not greeted when I walked in either but that's whatever. Anyway, if you have money to burn this is a good lunch spot, if you want to pay $17 (yes) for cheese and tomatoes, there are plenty of Italian places in Halifax with much better atmospheres.

The day before I found Sapori, I was googling around looking for the best Caesar salad in Halifax. I ended up at some other pizza place, which was fine... But THIS is what I was looking for! Awesome salad, great panini, excellent service. All the food coming to tables around me looked great too, and I was a little jealous of the people eating Mozza sticks beside me. Will go back for lunch again ASAP!

A nice spot to grab a quick bite while exploring the harbour front. It is Italian "street-style" food inspired. The food is good and the prices are decent.

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
