Used to be a great, reasonably priced brunch with lots of vegan/vegetarian options. Now there are about 3 or 4 options. If you order something and ask for no meat, you’ll still get charged the full price. Prices have gone way up. We just waited over an hour for our food, which was just ok. No apologies or check-ins during the long wait, and it wasn’t that busy. Go to Edna and spend the same amount for a much better brunch. Disappointed that the Goggle has gone so far downhill. :(

Fabulous amateur comedy on Sunday nights - free to watch! Great drinks selection, and the staff are friendly and funny. Awesome hangout spot. Menu is fairly diverse as well. Great little neighborhood spot.

Wanted to love this place but was one of those conundrums... the food was pretty good but service sucked. I mean totally, weirdly was off. Usually I would try again another day but was only visiting Halifax and that opportunity won’t come along again for a while. Our server clearly was not interested in connecting with us or even answering basic questions. She would respond curtly. After dropping the food off, she didn’t come back to check on us and the place was not busy. She left our table of 4 without water, even after we asked for refills. Food was on point, drinks were okay.

During my short visit to Halifax, I came here to taste their brunch. Unfortunately, it is only served during the weekend so I ordered from the regular menu. I was dining as a Vegetarian with a gluten and dairy allergy and they had tons of options. I had the Bulgogi mushroom burger on a gluten-free bun with roasted potatoes on the side. It was absolutely amazing! The pickled red cabbage really elevates the burger and I loved that the potatoes weren't fried. Highly recommend as this was super filling. For dessert, I was offered a dairy free and gluten-free chocolate torte that just hit all the right spots in my mouth. It wasn't dense and the cream melted in your mouth oh so perfectly. Definitely end your meal with this dessert. You won't regret it :) I am planning to come back for brunch!

Service was awesome, fun atmosphere, live music when we went was really good. Although very cold in the winter with the door opening and closing but overall really nice.

Had a reservation for roughly 10 people. Staff were friendly and food was good. The service however was very slow. The two women working the tables just sat behind the bar chit chatting. Several people sat there for 40min without being asked if they want their drink replenished. They also screwed up my food order. Customer service needs improvement.

A must dine in when you go to Halifax! Awesome, courteous, quick service! The Elliot Page vegan chocolate cake ( layered chocolate cake with creamy chocolate mousse) an absolute perfect end to the scrumptious meal…even if you share it (though you wouldn’t want to share it!) Everything we ordered was so flavourful. It has many vegan options (the pics are some of the vegan options available). They also have gluten-free options! They even have weekly events like Trivia, Open Mic, Live Music and Comedy evenings; though we didn’t make it for those.

Great atmosphere, and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. But the food left room for improvement. Because there was too much sauce, the burger I had was very difficult to eat, though delicious! Though I did want another beer, our server brought us the bill without being promoted, not the end of the world, but we felt a bit rushed. Would definitely return for another try!

Good place. The decor is quite dated but the food is nice, generous portions, reasonable prices.

The Foggy Goggle is the spot to be these days. They have a good selection of well priced drinks, delicious food with great vegetarian and vegan options, live music, trivia and open mic nights, and good variety of seating options. The staff are also very kind and attentive.

My sister brought us here for burger week. I got the lobster mac and cheese and it was amazing! It was about 20 mins to be seated and 30 mins to get food but we didn't mind because the food was delicious and the server very nice!

Cute place, looks like it would have a good atmosphere at night, but we were the first and only ones for the brunch when we arrived. But still a nice place, good food and nice staff nonetheless.

We had a great time at foggy goggle. Our server (Joe I think?) was super knoedgeabke and made great recommendations. We had the lobster bruschetta which was amazing. Also had the peanut bowl which was quite good but too much sauce for my preference, and the burger which was one of the best burgers we've had outside of Switzerland. The had a high chair for our 10 month old and the sever even thought to being some wetted napkins to wipe her hands before dinner since she had been crawling on the floor. Could definitely see this being one of our go to spots.

A sweet little spot to hangout for a few drinks ans food. Came here on a Friday night at around 9:30. They had live music and the place was pretty busy. We were just able to snag a spot for 2. Despite the small size, the place didn't feel overcrowded. Service was quick and they had a good selection of drinks and bar food. The music was really good and the overall atmosphere felt very welcoming. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we were definitely glad we came!

This place is cozy and the music is not too loud. You can have a nice conversation. There's a good selection of beer. The service is friend and the haddock burger was just succulent! Best I've ever had.

Went for Trivia night, was quite busy. Just had a couple beers and enjoyed myself. Great service, timely and friendly. Would come back to try the food as it looked good!

Nice atmosphere and attentive service. Coctails were great, food was good... only complaint was I had the Carolina smash burger and the carolina bbq sauce flavour didn't come through. Other then that it was a good burger and good appetizers.

Fantastic staff, some of the best I've been around in the city. Marvellous events and well priced food. Would love more gluten free options, but overall a total fave spot to go to

Friendly staff and beautiful space! Also plenty of vegan options compared to other pubs, cauliflower bites were probably best I’ve had in a long time. Local craft beer and good vibes :)

Went here twice in one week. Food was good both times. Service was great. My friend forgot her glasses and the wait staff ran down the street to give them back to us! I had the grilled cheese club sandwich one time and the burger the next time. Both were very tasty.

Living right in front of it. tried it yesterday for the first time. Staff r super friendly. Cosy atmosphere and tasty beers and deserts. It was open mic night so we had a great time.

Amazing cozy place with great food! It also had a comedy gig going on at night so it was loud. In case you need some quite place call ahead to ask about the gigs. I should have done that.

Good vibes, drinks are okay but few things you guys can improve on. 1. The music system is so bad that there was a lot echo when the band started singing. 2. I had seafood chowder, Not so great. Less seafood and more potatoes and carrots in it. 3. Can try revise the price, coz I wouldn't vote for taste at moment.

We met Chef Johnny by accident. He invited us to come to the restaurant so we did tonight. We enjoyed his wonderful flavours. The Seafood Chowder was wonderful. The Kale and Broccoli Salad was perfect. Our son enjoyed the burger. The pub wasn’t too busy. Our waiter was very attentive. If you’re in Halifax check this gem out.

Great music tonight. Great food, too. Long wait for food, but wait staff was apologetic, and when we got the food it was very tasty! We'll be back for sure.

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
