One
week
after
moving
here
5
years
ago,
I
saw
this
place
and
couldn't
wait
to
go
(I
had
a
favorite,
regular
blues
bar
back
home).
Well,
I
finally
went
and
wish
my
first
time
WAS
5
years
ago!!
Fabulous
place!
A
few
of
us
went
to
catch
Iron
Wheel
playing
(GREAT
BAND--
look
up
their
CD
release).
There
was
tonnes
of
music,
drink,
dancing,
and
laughing.
We
also
ate
there
(yum!).
My
sister
and
nibblings
ordered
a
few
dishes
of
standard
fare
and
rated
the
chicken
quesadillas
the
best
out
of
all
the
dishes
they
ordered.
My
partner
got
the
fish
and
chips
and
said
it
was
also
good.
I'm
not
one
to
order
standard
fare
when
there
are
culinary
adventures
to
be
had
and
ordered
the
palabok.
A-MAZE-ING!!
Rice
noodles
drown
in
shrimp
gravy,
with
shrimp,
crisp
pork
belly,
smoked
fish,
boiled
egg,
and
crips
pork
rind.
The
serving
was
massive
and
I
barely
put
a
dent
in
it,
so
passed
it
around
the
table.
Some
folks
took
a
tentative
bite
of
this
unfamiliar
dish,
but
after
one
bite,
everyone
was
digging
in--
"THIS
IS
SO
GOOD!!!!!"
My
only
criticism
of
the
dish
is
that
I
found
it
quite
salty
(nothing
a
pint
of
beer
won't
fix).
I
loved
the
'roughness'
of
the
decor,
and
the
atmosphere
was
perfect!
It
had
the
same
vibe
as
my
favorite
haunt
back
home.
I
can't
wait
to
go
back!
