It's a great place to enjoy pizzas. The provide a vast variety of pizzas for everyone. They do have great appetizers as well. The choice of cocktails are amazing. Must try Spiked Coffee š My favorite pizza here is their house special. If you love feta cheese, go for it. Also the service is awesome even when they are super busy. Ambience is also awesome and choices of seating arrangements if you wish to sit by the road view or the regular seatings.

Cannot speak to atmosphere as we had delivery.
Service, I used the online ordering which the website and process is well done and better than many others. Until you've finalized the order. All you get is a success message. Most places send an email confirmation and let you know when to expect it. Often they text you too. Here, Radio silence. They need to communicate. The ordering process says it might take a while but it didn't, and so I had to be called by the delivery guy to come down to the lobby.
Food, my wife was happy with her order but having a chipotle mayo for sweet potato fries should be a standard everywhere. FYI tourists, in Halifax 9.5/10 places serve curry mayo.
The appetizer was good. Zero complaints on the mushroom caps. I'm actually estatic whenever a restaurant has them. It's VERY rare.
My fish, it was a raw batter mess, see pic. I had to dig the fish out and scrape the raw batter off.
Everything came delivered hot too. So that's a plus. I might order again but I'll steer clear of the battered fish forever.

Great pizza, especially the sauce - it has a nice spice to it. A good portion of toppings for the price and size. Only thing that could you use a little improvement is the crust. Thereās nothing wrong with it per say, but itās kind of halfway between a thick crust and thin crust so doesnāt really hit either perfectly.

Quaint little restaurant with decent prices, good food and friendly staff. One of the big draws as a student is they take DalCard money and serve food until late. The food itself was tasty, came in large portions and delivered quickly. The light fixtures in the restaurant are beautiful and add a warm ambiance that gives a very homely feel to the place. Would recommend if you are looking for a solid, decently priced meal

Convenient and Delicious!
It was a late day and we just wanted something to eat. It was close to the university and provided the right attitude.
My daughter ordered the nachos with chicken. Good size portion!
I had the Vinnie Guacamole Burger. Definitely a mouthful. It wasnāt easy to eat and if you order anything that is smashed avocado be prepared for a messy experience. Decent food.

It's ok. Large breakfast portions, reasonably priced, but overall average food. Sausages, ham and bacon tasted like they were fried some time ago and just reheated. I think this place is better for lunch / dinner, there're quite a few other breakfast restaurants around. The decor is not bad though and the place was not busy all.

Great food and good service
I really liked the shirley temple
I ordered the Manhattan pizza, the classic poutine, the jalapeƱo popppers and everything was amazing.
The poutine was one of the best in Halifax.
Their decor is beautiful. Feels like New York city. Overall loved it and will definitely come again.

Food was good, prices are good, atmosphere is good and the staff was good. Really have no complaints about the place itself. The only thing that's a little tricky is the parking situation but that's just Quinpool in general. Recommend stop in or takeout.

Beer: good. Staff: good. Food: poor. When visiting seaside locales, I can order fish and chips because the fish is guaranteed to be fresh (due to a sensitivity, I canāt do frozen or old fish). I ordered one piece, and when it came it was about the size of a glasses case (small for f&c) and smelled fishy. Obviously frozen or old, despite the menu claim that itās fresh daily (which should be illegal in Halifax)! Sent it back and ordered pasta Alfredo dish: more disappointment. Overdone slimy pasta, rubbery bag chicken, and a sauce that was merely oil mixed with sweet chili sauce from a jar: no cream in sight. Plus, the spoon provided was a teaspoon, useless for pasta spinning. All in all, a huge letdown: Iāve been spoiled with good pub fare made fresh and with care. This was as far from that as I was from Hamilton! The extra star is for the staff, who did their best.

Donāt get fish and chips from a pizzeria. Great service, really nice ambiance. We both chose fish and chips, fish didnāt taste fresh and the batter was oily. The chips were over seasoned with garlic salt. Would visit again but not for the fish

Good food, good staff, good vibes. Good overall spot. Didn't think I'd go crazy for something as simple as a chicken club but man was it good!

I stopped by Freeman's as it was next to my hotel and I needed a meal after the drive from Fredericton.
The pizza was great, very nostalgic. While the crust was somewhat unique to what I'm used to, it was crispy and one of my favourites. The nostalgia came in through the sauce. It tasted like what I remember Pizza Hut tasting like 25 years ago, but overall much better as the crust wasn't soaked in grease. Also having the option to double your glass of wine for 2.99 was great and so I ordered their house red which could have used a bit more depth of flavour, but it was still wonderful after a long drive.
The donair taquitos though were just alright. I would have preferred a better meat:cheese. The cheese overpowered the donair meat. I did like the shell though. The server was nice, but could have been a bit more attentive. The atmosphere and design of the place was also nice and while I didn't participate, they do have a trivia night which I'm always a fan of. I'll be going back to try other items next time as their menu has a lot of options.

Visited twice during our recent trip to Halifax. The first visit was for breakfast. The server was attentive and kind, and the food was great in both flavour and value. Our second visit was in the evening, after a long day working with family. To our surprise and delight, they had live music! It was the first such experience we had in almost 2 years. The musician was incredible, playing an eclectic variety of songs. It was the perfect accompaniment to an evening of exceptional local beer and amazing pizza! We will most certainly be back. Thank you Freeman's!

Just ordered take out from here the potato skins are very very tiny and really over done, taste is non existent, Curry burger is a complete disaster. Caesar salad is tiny and most of the box is filled with the dressing container and a chunk of lemon and croutons. I'm really disappointed in the quality of the food it was $60.00. We should have gone back to charger burger instead of here, completely disappointed š
