I like neighborhood bars, we went there a few times and had some beer, it was not bad. I wanted to try chicken wings on my last visit and it was a big mistake. I ate the worst chicken wings of my life here. I can't believe how a chicken wing can be made that bad. I will never forget this experience

I went with a group of friends and we had the worst server. She threw the menus at us when we were first seated and when she finally got our drinks, she slammed mine on the table until it spilled over everywhere. The server looked annoyed that my friends and I were not white, unlike the rest of the customers in the restaurant. She locked eyes with me while she was making my drink and aggressively rolled her eyes at me. The food was mediocre, the burger was cooked too dry and the grey color was not appetizing and the fries were soggy.

I am not their customer. I am an uber driver. they called me, i went in about 3 minutes. the order was not ready yet and they told me it will be out in 2 minutes. and they made me wait there for 30 minutes. They always said 2 minutes. At the end, one of the employees scolded me and said, "Cancel, take another order". I said I would not cancel because I wanted my Uber score not to be affected. Later, another employee came and scolded me in the same way. employees are not polite at all. I'm sure if I was a customer they would be very kind to me. They work with masks. But I've seen their real faces. But there is something they forgot, I am still working for their client. I am a bridge between the restaurant and its customers. you don't call uber if the order is not ready. it's that simple. Everywhere is full of Uber drivers. we work pretty fast. I understand that the kitchen can be busy, but I don't understand how they call an Uber and scold him for an order that isn't ready. very disrespectful. What does this to Uber drivers today will do it to their customers tomorrow.

Only 1 choice of wine Pinot Grigio. Reuben was tasteless and fries mediocre. My wife felt similar with fish and chips. Server was good which justified 2 stars. Would not go back

My husband and I ordered the nachos which were advertised as $9 for the Sunday deal. The waitress asked us if we wanted the regular size which was confusing as the menu doesn't show mulitple sizes. We said yes. When we got our bill, we saw that we were charged the full $18. We asked our waitress why we didn't get the $9 deal and she said oh well I asked you what size you wanted, the $9 is for an individual size. This is not communicated anywhere on the menu, on the advertised sign on the wall and the waitress did not clarify this either. We felt this was sneaky and dishonest. Also, $9 for 1 person nachos isn't much of a deal.

The spinach dip was very bland. Basically a hot bowl of cream cheese with green flakes in it. Served with chips. Not pita bread. Not appetizing at all. Also tried the potato skins. Again very dissappointing , they were dried out very little cheese or onions. . also a small portion . Thank god they were half price! When we said the spinach dip was not great the waitress said oh that's too bad . End of story . Will not go back ever , even if the appetizers were free!

Our food was cold, our server unconcerned and the beer was ok. With so many Nova Scotia craft beers one would expect to see a few more on tap when we were there there were two to choose from and one was dirty blonde. I had a clubhouse sandwich and the fries were cold and the sandwich mediocre at best. My dining partner's food was cold or at least lukewarm but we waited so long we ate it anyways. Probably won't go back, which is sad because it could be a cool local pub but it needs work.

Love the cozy friendly vibe! Attentive staff who quickly learn their customers favorite drinks and orders. The live music is always with amazing local talent making for a really fun evening out.

Good tasting food but very small portions and not worth the money. Got 2 orders of nachos, the first was tiny and barely warm. We politely told the server and she responded rudely. She argued with us that it was normal size and she saw it come out of the oven so it should have been hot. We ordered another plate because the first was not filling at all. The second order of nachos was much better in size and temperature but the server was not apologetic or even friendly at all. This isn't the first time I've encountered unfriendly service here. I will likely avoid this place in the future.

The server was very nice. The meal was ok. The fries were soggy. We were there on a Saturday and were told the appetizers were half price. When we got home I looked at the receipt and we were charged full price for the 3 we ordered plus I asked for barbecue sauce or mayo instead of ketchup. They charged 3.00$ for this. We will probably not go back.

Great food and drinks. Pleasant atmosphere. I enjoy going here. Only complaint is they stopped serving food at 8 pm.

This is great spot to stop into when you want a yummy bite to eat but no fuss. I had the grilled chicken burger and fries with mozza sticks for an app. Everything was SO fresh and SO delicious!

Food was the highlight. We were a group of 10, they were understaffed. Meals were coming out sporadically. Two or three plates then a 15 minute wait. Only one server for the whole bar. Coffee was horrible, very strong. I’m totally we were almost two hours from the time we entered until we left. The three stars were an overall average. If the food wasn’t as good as it was I would have been a lower rating. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon. Sorry.

Hate to leave a poor review in this climate but the food was really subpar. Where it's so expensive to eat out these days and money is tight, online reviews are important so people don't spend a fortune to be disapointed. None of the entrees were ooked that well and very salty. One order was messed up and had to be sent back. Service was really good though. I feel bad for business owners because this is likely down to the lack of quality employees these days.

Been here numerous times for wings. Witch they are a good wing. But recently they reduced the amount of wings you get with a order to 7. Works out to $1 a wing witch is too much. Server told our table “you get less wings but they are bigger”. They definitely weren’t bigger. Bit of a disappointment as they do taste good but over priced. Not sure if I’ll return.

We lunch here and found the food good. The waitress, Andrea, was friendly and provided great service.

Home of the saddest food from a pub. Not sure how this place is still operational. Went for half price appetizers which said on their board in restaurant and on their online menu however after we ordered everything we were told that the board was wrong and they wouldn’t honour it. The potato skins were disgusting…. As you can see absolutely no cheese , the spinach dip was disgusting with no cheese and flavour and the food was cold. The cherry on top? Every staff member we talked to couldn’t care less, so we went straight to the owner Chris. He laughed in our faces and was biligerent. I can’t wait till this place closes down, I’ll do a happy dance!

They charged $16.00 for 4, awful, overcooked, fake crab dumplings. Waitress didn't even bring cutlery. 😒

Nice spot. Service was a bit slow. Wings were OK. They needed another minute of cooking to be the right crispness. Especially if they are tossed.

Although we have eaten here a few times over the last three years, and always had good service, good food, yesterday we tried the Wings Wednesday. While checking out the menu online beforehand I read several poor reviews and was quite surprised actually. Every time we have been there we have had prompt friendly attention, good food and pleasant staff. Yesterday was no exception, and we'd like to give a shout out to Andrea, our server, who helped us decide how hot or cool we wanted out wings, and gave us excellent service throughout. A great little neighbourhood pub.

We finally got our food after 47 mins. Our appetizer arrived around 50-55 mins. Waitress nervous because no doubt consistent bad reviews. This was our first and last time here. $114 on garbage food. Secondhand embarrassment from the poor quality and service. Steak was gross.

Great ladies' night out... Most of us enjoyed our orders. Disappointment all round that they were out of the crab wonton by 6 pm, otherwise a great experience.... Second time we've gone there as a group.

Very friendly local pub. Great food and music. Steak nights on Saturdays are our favorite. Yummy dish and chips too. Going tonight, even through the snow!

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Please add a mirror to the men's room 🤷🏻‍♂️. I hope this place doesn't get too popular because it's a great little spot! (That's a compliment lol)

Disappointing experience this time. The Chicken club was great, but the 1 piece fish & chips was diabolical. The fish batter was soggy and felt like it had been refried. Not good in the slightest. Will avoid it like the plague next time. We do enjoy going here and will be back, but on a night without live music.

We came here for wing nigh wendsdayz but our wings were much dryer compared to last time, and my hamburger patty smelt like a wet dog. It was yummy if you could overcome the smell. Not enough sauce on wings either. Our lady server was the sweetest, she got us everything we asked, and had a great attitude throughout the whole night.
