Location is good in downtown halifax, however, parking is a big issue. If you come to be there, it is a good idea to stop by. It has limited options of croissant and sandwiches. Chocolate 🍫 varieties are unique. I like to roasted coffee ☕️ 😋 , and the plain croissant

The mocha and madelines was amazing..the staff is very sweet. They have good collection of choclates as well..The snow around the place made the place look even more beautiful...must visit café for café lovers....

The best hot chocolate in Halifax without a doubt! Popped In for a treat today and was blown away. My first time in and I was not disappointed at all. The store was incredibly clean and organized. The seating options were cozy and modern. And the chocolate! Simply amazing, had a cookie, chocolates, and macaroons. 10/10

Beautiful shop with a good sized selection of chocolate products. From gift boxes, to bars, to barks, to even drinks and macaroon, Rousseau has them all. A few seating area are available inside the shop and outside as well. The hot chocolate here is a must try, so delicious and just the right amount of sweetness. The chocolate is also melt in your mouth. Street parking is available and store is accessible.

📍Rousseau Chocolatier ⭐️8.5/10 Next in Halifax, we stopped by this cute dessert place! Even though it's a chocolate shop, we got the soft serve. They offer vanilla bean and a daily vegan flavour. When we went it was mango pineapple! You can either get the flavours individually or in a twist. The soft serve is smooth with vibrant flavours and a crunchy waffle cone. This is a professional chocolate shop. The chocolate here is really delicious.😆 I sometimes buy chocolate here. I strongly recommend it to those who like chocolate. But the price is a little high.😭 So I highly recommend it to those who really like chocolate and those who can eat it while controlling themselves. I'm full because I only ate chocolate without eating. I couldn't control myself.😅😂 I want to give this store 5 stars, but the price is a little high, so I gave this store 4 stars. Nice place for a cup of coffee and chocolate. They heated up the coffee as it wasn't hot enough for us. Marmallow chocolate was yum.

I’ve been to this place many times in the past years, it brings me joy every time. The hot chocolate is simply my favourite on earth, it’s thick but not overly sweet. I’ve been recommending it to my family and friends. The chocolates and macaroons are great gift options when visiting friends or gifting at special occasions. The twisted ice cream (vanilla ice cream and berry sorbet) has a good balance between creamy sweet and sour. Besides the amazing products, the customer services team is always super friendly! Fun fact, I’ve also accidentally discovered and listened to Natalie & Julien’s story on a podcast back in 2011, loved their story and vision to the business. All the best!

Beautiful café with some sweet treats! Got an iced coffee and a few chocolates - everything was decadently delicious! The staff were helpful and patient while we made our selections. Loved the interior design and decor of the café! Would recommend stopping for a treat.

My friend and I were visiting Halifax for the first time and we happened upon this shop. The staff were absolutely amazing, super friendly and helpful, but not overly sales pitching. The hot chocolate was absolutely unreal, the best hot chocolate I've ever had and the chocolates were fantastic! I had a florentine for the road and it too was amazing! Definitely a place to visit when you're in Halifax!!

The best and the most high-end chocolatier/coffeeshop in Halifax EVER. Everything they have is ABSOLUTELY amazing! Their chocolates are the most delicious treats you could ever imagine. Their coffee drinks (mochas, lattes, iced ones) are the best quality. Most importantly, their staff are ALL very professional, kind, polite and welcoming. this is the only place I ever go to for my coffee everyday!

Placed an order for delivery. Assorted milk chocolates, 10 pack of macarons. It came quickly, got a a nice call from the store. The yellow round chocolate is the BEST caramel I have ever had. The macarons were a great texture with subtle but delicious flavour. Very happy and would 100% order again.

Good chocolate, probably the best in town, including a very nicely made salted caramel bar we tried when we got home. In shop, we tried a handful of chocolates, some, like the feuilletine, were excellent, others, like the tarragon, didn’t have discernible flavor/aroma. Coffee was good as well.

One of our favourite things to do on a Sunday morning, is to drive downtown, park near the Public Gardens and walk to Rousseau Chocolatier’s. We absolutely love their Pain Au Chocolat. They also have a fantastic selection of coffee delights. The cafe is clean, bright and the staff are wonderful.

Gorgeous chocolates! We were thrilled to hear that they could ship to the U.S. again. The perfect season for shipping chocolates, too. Ordering online was easy. Everything safely arrived in a neatly packaged box within a week here in the Pacific Northwest. So many new and long-loved flavors. It was pretty special to taste the marzipan, dark sea salt, vanilla bean, ginger, orangettes, and caramels and remember falling in love with Rousseau Chocolatier for the first time years ago. Perfection, as usual! All the flavors new to us have been so yummy so far -- loving the creativity and fresh combinations. And can we talk about how beautiful they are to look at? Works of art. I stared at that bronze brush stroke on the spiced latte truffle for about a minute, shimmering it in the light before finally setting it in my mouth. Magical. The flavor profile reminded us of Mexican hot chocolate and warmth on snowy nights.🤎🤎🤎✨ Speaking of the thankful box flavors, they paired incredibly well with an Oregon pinot noir. Loved that. Couldn't have been happier to experience and share those ones with my best friend. The boxes they came in were super cute, too. Infinite love for Rousseau Chocolatier! Cannot wait to visit in person one day again. The absolute best.

Cute little chocolate shop so close to the discovery centre and the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. Had a mango macaron which was absolutely delicious! Bought a small box of handmade milk chocolate shells to take home for family. I'm sure they'll be devine as well. As we were enjoying our macarons, friendly staff greeted us and shared a sample of their dark chocolate almond bar.. which was also scrumptious! ☺️
