My favorite Cafe in Halifax- The owers and servers are very nice, and foods are amazing. The sandwiches are super fresh, and the desserts are absolutely high quality. Stunning!

I ordered the kimchi tuna taiyaki and it was amazing! Fresh lettuce, just enough filling and the pastry was a tiny bit sweet 🤤 Was not expecting to be so impressed. The atmosphere was also on point — bright and clean.

Love this spot! The taiyaki is delicious and we have ordered it for a few birthday parties now! Service is quick and polite, and the website is great for ordering ahead. Highly recommend!

Such a great little spot for sandwiches and Taiyaki. The sandwich had a fun twist to it with its flaky and sweet « bun ». Generous potion or meat, cheese and crispy lettuce. The smoke meat sandwich was delicious! • I selected the party box of bite sized Taiyaki filled with chocolate/hazelnut, blueberry/cream cheese and pineapple. Such fun and tasty snacks to share with colleagues.

Cafe with good selection of desserts and sandwiches. We ordered turkey stuffing, pulled chicken as well as spinach and feta sandwich, best was pulled chicken and worst was turkey stuffing (with jam!) also found the sandwiches a bit greasy. Desserts were decent as well. Overall the experience was good, food was just on the heavier side.

This place is the absolute cutest place to eat. The staff are so incredibly friendly and the food is delicious as well as cute! It caters really well to Vegans- we had sweet chilli tofu savoury sandwich and the sweet taiyaki as well and they had 6 different Vegan flavours to choose from. They also offer plant based milk and their coffee was great!

I was visiting Halifax over the weekend and we went to Cafe Taiyaki for breakfast!!! What a neat experience it was. The cafe has great energy and atmosphere, very clean and super cute. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was tasty! I’m vegan so super grateful there were a few vegan options.

Public parking Zone B right in front of the store. I ordered to take out but it’s early morning so it’s only me in the store and the vibe was so great and chill so I decided to stay and enjoy my breakfast. I had Macha latte, egg tart, and Taiyaki Ham& Cheese. It’s delicious and enough energy for the morning. Tea is perfect, not too sweet. My wife had Honey Citron Tea, and tofu Taiyaki, she loved it. Definitely go back in the near future.

I always enjoy coming here to work or just sit. I highly recommend the sweet and spicy pulled chicken sandwich! It’s an amazing balance of flavor and flakiness from the pastry!❤️❤️❤️✨ The staff is really sweet and welcoming and the ambience just makes it better!

Cute little place. Had the tuna kimchi sandwich, banana hot tea and matcha and white chocolate twist ice cream. Except for the drink which was tasted good but too sweet and artificial tasting for me.

The workers were very friendly and helpful. They knew how to explain everything really well. The food was amazing in all aspects. The prices are fair. I had a savory and a sweet dish and their presentation was adorable and they tasted delicious! Great experience for a calming, cute place to have an outing on you own or with friends. The bathroom was also really clean and cute. The drinks were also great, with lot’s of options for milks. One of the best cafes I have been to in Halifax.

What can only be described as a soft, warm fish-shaped ice cream cone guzzling an unholy amount of matcha ice cream, with Pocky and other crunchy toppings erupting from its mouth, was an absolutely delicious experience. Have to come back here to try the drinks and food.

Kids love it here. and their parents as well. The decor is nice, clean, modern and give you a peaceful feeling. We tried both savory and sweet food on the menu, all are nice, tasty. Perfect for a sunny day to spend with your family

Cute cafe for snacks and ice cream. Taiyaki was made crisp and fresh on the spot depending on the filling you want; I got a mini gang with red bean and blueberry cream cheese which tasted delightful. Service was also super friendly! I would say the prices were a little more than I would've expected, but I still would recommend that it's worth a one-time visit!

Hands down one of the best places in the city! No matter how i order it, it comes hot fresh and delicious! Will forever recommended the mocha roll cake. The best combo of creamy and light with a melt in your mouth cake is the perfect dessert for any time.

I loved my first visit to Cafe Taiyaki today, and from this experience I would highly recommend checking them out! I had the “Naked Duo” in Vegan Batter with Sweet Red Bean in one and Caramelized Pineapple in the other and could recommend both! I also had the savoury Sweet Chili Tofu and that was so good. I also had the Gingerbread Latte and it was yummy and beautiful too, and next time I’d just ask for a bit more of the syrup to make it more *spicy*. If you need somewhere to work on a laptop, the environment here is perfect as there’s outlets for your laptop, the environment is cozy, happy and clean, and the music they play is a mix of everything and was honestly 10/10. It had Tom Odell, Halsey, Ariana Grande, Olivia Rodrigo, Migos, Drake, amongst others and I brought headphones but tbh the playlist was so fire I didn’t need them.

Lots of waiting for one ice cream bowl on a Sat afternoon at 2:30 pm. Between waiting to order at a counter because all the staff were busy and waiting for a simple soft serve with three taiyaki, it took around 25 minutes. With tax and tips, it cost $10 for the taiyaki and ice cream bowl. When we finally got the product, the matcha soft serve was hallow on the inside and the red bean taiyaki outside was dry. I would recommend going somewhere else to get your matcha soft serve cravings satisfied, but I might come back for the taiyaki box to bring for friends or work instead of the usual Timbits (18 mini taiyakis with different fillings for $15). Product presentation was very nice and the cafe is suitable for going on a date or catching up with friends as it has big windows for lots of natural light.

The best cafe ever. Food is best. Staff is THE BEST. They served one of the dish wrong.. But when we told them, they were extremely sorry for the same. They changed the dish, they returned the money and at the end they served us a portion of mini gang too ... Loved the way they took care for us.. July 28th, 2022

Very nice cafe!!! I love their decorations and the cafe place is so bright. When I went into the cafe, the very sweet smell just come out. I love that. We tried macha and red bean flavour! It’s not really sweet but taste sososososo good! Especially with a cup of London fog! You gonna try this! We ended up bring home a party box! Hahahaha😄

Very lovely experience. I like their interior and inside vibe. Very friendly staff and great customer service. In terms of food, they have a variety of options both savory and sweet. Their waffle fish shape is so cute and tasty! I like their maple touch on the sandwiches. Very nice cafe. Highly recommend it
