Saunders Park is a bit of an odd municipal park. It's a remnant of an old airport that used to be in that location. Being right next to busy chebucto road, at times it's a little noisy comma but otherwise is Pleasant enough and can be used for various park activities like sports. It does have nice asphalt has that are good for children's bicycling. It also connects to the nearby subdivision and the Westmount School playground.

Nice little urban park with a nice statue to indicate the location of the former municipal airfield. All in all it's a nice green space between the busy Chebucto Rd, and a subdivision.

A nice greenspace to walk through but is very close to Chebucto Road where there is a lot of traffic noise. It is located on the spot where there used to be an airport. Now, it is a green space for walking or biking through, probably mostly for the local community members. Still, a nice, tranquil area.

Needs some work done around the equipment area. Climbing equipment is nice and well built. Kids love the swings.

More of a place to walk through than a park to stay and play or hangout. Right next to busy Chebucto Rd.

Saunder's Park is a simple green space built on the former grounds of the city's small air field.

This is green space used primarily by local residents. One side abuts a traffic artery that becomes congested during rush hour.

It's been a while since I was in the park, mostly I just pass by it on the bus. I do know that there used to be an airport they way back in the forties or fifties, and that is what that sculpture is for.
