We love Bayer's Lake. It has everything we need and isn't too far from home. Enough parking, and a great variety and collection of stores.

Good place for a quick stop. Expensive overall but well organized, clean and good quality - still expensive for what you get, quality could be better. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Supervisors tends to be rude - like any other in any company eh!?

Very quiet but you can get lots of things done: dentist, family doctor, bank, salon, meal, gym...

It's a great shopping area with about any store imaginable. If you don't find what you ate looking for in the Bayers Lake shopping district, you will probably not find it elsewhere in HRM. The only issue with Bayers Lake shopping district is the traffic. Particularly on weekends. If you can avoid the area on weekends you will enjoy your shopping experience much better.

The giant Tiger here has a better selection than most

Had to make a return to Giant Tiger. Just made a size exchange. Love shopping this store for everything I need. Basic groceries and inexpensive clothing and housewares.

Have to park so far from the store you want.

If you are looking for modern/eclectic furniture that's perfect for smaller spaces than its great. I find some of the pieces a little pricey, but it's enjoyable to look around. I did enjoy the different types of lighting.

I didn't actually get to go into the store but it looks pretty cool and it was pretty laid back and not busy

They've got some really attractive furniture here at very reasonable prices.
