Made a special trip into Halifax yesterday to go here and enjoy a cigar, but was a complete waste of time. Employee was very unhelpful, didn't really speak and just stood in the humidor. When I asked if there was a place I could smoke, I was told it was for members only, with no other options given.

I have just taken down a post I made questioning the authenticity of Cuban cigars at the club. I have just learned of the ridiculous rule in Canada of the bland green cigar bands and packaging required by law. I really can’t figure out the reasoning but I’m from the states and don’t understand many of our rules. My experience with the gal that helped me was outstanding. I was just thrown off by the bands when I got home. I apologize to the club for my previous post and if I spent more time in Halifax I would certainly be a member. Will definitely return next time I’m there.

Watch your total with the young guy working the store this summer. He "takes a tip". I bought two Hoya de Monterray mini robostos, one Partagas Serie D No. 4, and one Romeo Y Julieta No. 1. He didn't give a receipt and when I got home realized I paid $187 for the FOUR sticks; that's about $100 that was stolen from me. Interesting too that the transactions are pen and paper and untraceable and their email address on the site doesn't work. I for one will never go there again and I suggest you enter with the sense of danger.

What a great place for Cigar lovers in Halifax , I enjoy immensely the lounge and the community there , quite smart arrangements for using the lounge . The team at the Cigar shop down stairs are very helpful and cordial - Sasha swiftly helped finalising my membership .

As a female customer, I always have such great service along with a wonderful variety of product. I also enjoy the Haifax Club for a drink and great conversation with my friends. Seriously needed after the past few years. Thanks to Sasha and the staff for always making my night extra fun.

My wife and I went over the weekend and found it to be a pleasant experience, we purchased a couple cigars and found the employee to be helpful as well, loved the ambiance😊.

Visited from Ottawa in September 2021. Very nice shop, but limited selection of cigars unfortunately. Better to bring your own stogies when you visit Nova Scotia, as there are absolutely no cigar places in this province!

My wife works downtown and grabs my cigars on her way home. I asked her what her experience was like, she told me that the girl working is super nice and the building is neat. There prices are competitive. When buying individual cigars definitely a convenient option. I prefer to buy boxes but when in a jam this spot is great

First time in, pleasantly surprised they had any stock in due to COVID, demand and overall supply. The lady who was there was very accommodating and pleasant. I'm fairly new with cigars but have had experience with certain ones. Luckily they had some. I wanted more but figured I would get in trouble with my wife if I did. Definitely will be back!!

My husband and I came here for the first time last weekend, we're from New Glasgow. What a beautiful shop! The lady we spoke to was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. My hubby got a good selection of cigars and was very happy by the time we left. Will definitely be back.

Being from the north, where I do not have a good cigar store, I was please with the very gentleman who helped me. Very nice store and reasonable prices.

The staff and the owner are very helpful and are delightful too talk. Very knowledgeable about cigars and can answer any questions you may have. Their selection is well rounded and always changing with new releases always coming in! Ask them about the cigar lounge with is a one of a kind in Halifax and well worth a tour.

The cigar lounge at the Halifax Club is a hidden gem in the city. Jen, Meaghan, as well as the staff at the shop are top notch. I’d recommend anyone interested in checking it out to drop into the shop and purchase a day pass. You won’t regret it!
