so many vendors! an amazing place to shop for christmas gifts. i love this place because it really brings together everything local and so many cool artists. there’s coffee, sculptures, indian food, pierogis, breakfast foods, pastries, fresh produce, art, clothes, jewelry, soaps, mittens, candles, the list goes on! a very busy place and a wonderful atmosphere! very spacious. things here are usually pricey but for good reason. there’s also lots of tables to sit and eat your food at and chat with people around you. also a beautiful location - right on the water! and just a walk away from downtown. everyone here is so sweet and it’s impossible to not be in a good mood at the farmer’s market!

New location, smaller venue. Some nice crafts, local produce and meats, fresh bread and international foods like curries and pirogies :) Nice outdoor walk out deck w a view of George’s island. Not as big as old market (about half the size) worth a visit on a Saturday morning.

Recommended place to visit in Halifax on Saturdays when the Farmer’s Market is in full swing. You’ll find plenty of local vendors with local produce, charming stalls with jewellery, cards, paintings, hand made soaps, and etc., and plenty of ethnic and non-ethnic food stalls to try. The new location at Pavilion 21 offers more social distancing and has arrows that visitors can follow for additional preventative measures. There is always a great spot just outside where you can get a wonderful view of George’s Island and the lighthouse.

Worth visiting. Lots of variety of vendors from food, to pottery, to handmade artisan goods (candles, woodworking). We bought a nice matte finish mug from water dragon pottery.

It's a very interesting little fresh market in downtown Halifax with all local goods. There are a number of stalls for fruit and vegetables and other products all made by locals Halifaxans. The market takes place only on the weekends.

Great little market….I would consider it more like a flea-market opposed to a farmers market. A farmers market would mean actual farmers would be there selling their farm-to-table farm items. It’s more local vendors selling handmade goods, home cooked food, coffee and some businesses promoting their products. Either way it’s nice.

Stopped by this Farmer’s Market before heading home to Toronto, and there was such a friendly vibe here. Shout-out to Sable shortbread for their delicious Father’s Day souvenir treats!

Decent market. Has couple great food options. Ann the soup place had great assortment of soups. Filipino steamed buns were also great. And the lava honey. Must try if you are over.

Last stop before heading out to Peggy’s Cove, cool little market. Worth checking out. Bring cash for the folks. Parking was free. Bathrooms clean.

Excellent market! Many diverse food stalls (empanadas, Greek food, Indian food, bakeries). Shout out to the shortbread vendor, Nutty Acres granola and Rudi's hot sauce. Extra loved their products!

Great little market to go to! A variety of food selections along with small business owners selling their products. Great to go early in the morning, get coffee and bagel, and watch the ocean outside!

First time visiting the FM in this new location at Pier23. Great paroduce, bakeries, artisan food products and art. I bought a monster-size blueberry roll, ate 1/2. And a good bowl of seafood chowder for lunch.

The new location was vibrant and fresh! Full of vendors and customers that were taking it all in. Organized, well laid out, large clean bathrooms and great variety. Warm and friendly!

A lovely little farmers market. Lots of fresh produce, some pastries and coffee, and local products such as art, clothing, etc. Usually some buskers playing music. Recommend you bring cash, as some vendors take card but some are cash or e-transfer only.

This reminds me of a old traditional indoor farmer's market. It has lots of character. There's lots of different items on sale from fruits and vegetables, arts and crafts, and prepared food.

The market is not only best weekend morning outing place but also serve it's purpose with fresh produce and meat products. There's also plenty of vendors selling different local and handcrafted products from across Nova Scotia. You also can enjoy many tasty breakfast including some gluten free options while looking at the morning sea. Definitely worth a visit and your visit helps locally sourced products to thrive.

Great venue, lots of amazing vendors! An overall great experience for our family. It was great meeting local farmers and business owners. We loved the port as well and the face painting :) Food vendors were yummy and clean! We especially loved the bakery that had gluten free options :) Just wish there were more fish vendors ;). Definitely worth a visit if you are traveling to Halifax!

I preferred the old location and there are hardly any vendors on site on Sundays anymore. I used to love going to the market and then spending time downtown but will be giving it a pass in the future. The vendors who did show up were great but there just weren't enough to get me to go back. The waterfront also just isn't nice enough to visit anymore so without the draw of the market, it makes for a disappointing visit.

This has always been a great experience on a Saturday morning. The wide variety of fresh produce and locally made items was worth the buzz. The pandemic has definitely changed things from not many vendors to less buzzing atmosphere. Please continue to support our local vendors and remember their new location at Pavilion 22.

This is a nice, albeit small, Farmers market. There is lots of fresh produce, as well as vendors who sell various meat and cheese products. There are also a number of artisans selling handmade products. You can get a snack or lunch here as well. Plus it's a nice walk down here at the end of Harbor walk.
