Ordered takeout, still standing here waiting 20 minutes after the online order was supposed to be ready and there's maybe a dozen people here. Pretty sure they didn't even start it until after we arrived and said we were picking up. Wont be coming back anytime soon that's for sure.

Ordered online for pickup and got to the store ten minutes earlier then it said for pickup. There was a few people already waiting and there seemed there may be a delay. One gentleman was very rude about his wait and needed to chill out. Eventually I was told there was an issue with online ordering which I understand happens. The staff was doing an amazing job handling the situation and deserve pats on the back for having to deal with certain customers. Will not hesitate to go back again as the food and staff is wonderful

If I could put zero stars I would. Very understaffed. I felt bad for the two waitress serving the entire restaurant. Everybody was wearing their coat as the indoor was definitely cold (was probably warmer outside than inside at this point in January). We saw a mouse just wandering around. . We mentionned it to the waitress and she said "don't worry its okay". Really?!?!?!?! We regularly try many different type of restaurants, from fancy to just casual dinners and its the first time I see a mouse in a restaurant, AND the waitress was looking like it was normal. We decided to take our food for takeout as it made us very uncomfortable. At least the food was okay but we had gift cards to buy the food. Just take the food for takeout if you really want pizza delight, but there are way better options in the area for the same price range or cheaper.

This place always seems a bit empty, but I was pleasantly surprised! The interior is nice, and clean. The staff was fast and friendly! Got a really good lunch deal, only $15 for a drink, side, and main! Food was good quality for what you pay!

Haven't ate here in ages. We don't have one locally and it was a very nice treat. Restaurant was clean and the service was absolutely exquisite. The atmosphere was relatively calm because there weren't that many people here today. It was a very enjoyable experience

Lets start with the men's bathroom, not sure what was going on with the soap dispenser but it was a plastic bottle with top off in the sink, the touchless paper towel dispenser wasn't working and the mirror looked like it was cleaned with ranch salad dressing. My wife said the same thing was happening in the woman's bathroom. The table and menus were sticky and benches loose. We ordered a 2 topping pizza and we received a 1 topping pizza. The waitress did her best and rectified the problem. The dough was super thin and mixed with the grease it was super soggy. Overall the food was not delightful. I can say that the service was friendly. We will not be returning.

I haven't been to Pizza delight in many years. The four of us went in for lunch and to reminisce. The pizza was good, they do have a unique sauce. I wish they still used the candles under the pizza trays. The 7 up tasted like soda water but we informed the waitress and she brought us a Pepsi instead. I hate to criticize things that I probably could have corrected at the time but I found the table and the booth in general to be a little unclean and the piped in dance music didn't seem to match the vibe. Very impressed with the garlic cheese fingers. You don't want to ruin your meal but I highly recommend them. I would go back.

On Tuesday, July 26, 2021 attended with my husband and I ordered the chicken goat cheese salad. We waited 20 minutes for our meals. It was not busy at all. The lettuce was brown on edges, spinach limp and chicken dry. I picked at it trying to find some fresh pieces. The waitress had disappeared, so I called "excuse me, hoping someone would respond.. A staff member sitting in a back booth came over. She assured me everything was fresh, and invited me to the kitchen! They would make me a fresh one! I declined and scraped back into the bowl several rotten pieces of lettuce and handed it to her. That evening I was extremely nauseous through the night with diarrhea. This evening I vomited. I have food poisoning! Why I ate any of it horrifies me! I should have known better. I guess because I was hungry and knew it would be another 20 minutes or so for a different order. The most astounding part of this story is that a week earlier I had attended the same restaurant and had the same meal. It was fresh and delicious and the reason I had returned. Go figure! I go from an outstanding meal to food poisoning! What a difference a day makes. There is definitely something wrong with this restaurant. Avoid at the peril of your health!

The best feature of Pizza Delight WAS its lunch and supper buffets. It was something you could bring almost anyone to and they could find something to eat (Dessert pizza was a childhood memory of mine). At my last visit I was informed that they no long do buffets. There is no longer an incentive to go to this subpar pizza and pasta fast food joint. Hopefully they realize their mistake and bring it back.

...more like Pizza Un-delightful! Too bad...this place used to be great comfort food but has done downhill fast after re-opening not long ago. The tables were so sticky even after them being washed. Most likely from sanitizer during pandemic but...yuck. Need to be resurfaced or replaced! The paper placemats were fully stuck! Once order arrived we were asked if we wanted anything else because litchen was closing. It was 8:15pm. The restaurant posted open hours are 9pm. We ate our food ..no one checked on us. Four people came in at 8:30pm..they were told restsurant was closing soon, kitchen closed ( 9pm) so they left quite upset. Probably never to return. Anyway, waiter finally comes back. Husband asks for a box for his pizza but obvious we are not ready to leave. I am still actively eating! Clearly not finished. Still not even 8:40pm yet! She returns with the bill and debit machine! So rude! We say..could you give us a minute? Blank stare. Husband pays. I finish. We leave. No one acknowleges us..in fact no staff near front end at all. Get inthe car...8:47..Open sign still on. If you are open til 9, stay open but dont rush everyone out or close at 8:30. Terrible service. Wont be back.

Service was great, food was absolutely disgusting. Stop cheaping out on ingredients, oven baked Alfredo was absolutely flavorless. The wings were a fatty mess. Worst 100$ I've ever spent. By the way, what's up with the sticky tables? If it's the sanitizer causing it, stop buying the cheap stuff and fix the issue. Will never return.

Food is really bad and takes a long time to come. The waitresses are wonderful and it’s not their fault but there are obviously big issues with kitchen management/food quality. Don’t waste your money but if you do please don’t take out frustrations on the servers

We were seated quickly but that's where the good service ends. It took 15 minutes! for the waitress to to check back and take our order and 10 minutes later we still didn't even have our drinks!, we left at that point. This place used to be good, it gone very down hill, it's not even worth rating. 0/5

We ordered the Kids BAD dog Pizza And it came over baked and very dry. Also in their menu the boneless chicken wings served as Chicken tenders (sort of chicken nuggets) and when I asked why, the waitresses said this is what we offer, and she will inform her manager. I had to accept it as my kids were hungry and we had no time to wait. Restaurant was empty, no ambience , staff were missing or behind the counter on their phones. Their tables are so sticky, waitresses said it because of the sanitizer type they use. And i found it discomforting. Not recommended!!

The service was terrible ,Waited over 30 minutes to get 3 children's pizzas and one 9 inch pizza .When the time came for the dessert after the meal only two children got ice cream ,had to wait another 10 minutes for the third child to get theirs , with no utensils to eat it with .One waitress say on her phone the whole time we were there .If it was busy ,I would have understood ,but there was only one other couple in the restaurant at the same time as us .Will not be going back

Been going here for years and this was the last time I will be going. First it took 10-15 minutes before our server came to ask for our orders (before she asked for drinks) had to tell her we wanted drinks. Second the menu is most certainly not what it used to be , there’s nothing really to choose from anymore . We had no ketchup , pepper , salt etc on the table or brought out and no extra napkins when requested . I should add the restaurant had maybe 3 other tables so it wasn’t busy at all. The ceaser salad for 9$ is the most pitiful thing and can’t believe I paid for it. One of us ordered the ribs and was told 10-15 minutes later there was no ribs and was put on the spot to order something else so she could put our order through. This used to be my 8 year old nieces favourite spot , she herself said she doesn’t wanna go there anymore, and to end the night she wanted her Sammy the Spider with chocolate pudding and they didn’t even have that.

This place seems to always be closed down, closed early or just closed. Very irregular hours. Food is over cooked & inconsistent. On Tuesday night I ordered Pizza, garlic fingers and chocolate eruption cake. The pizza and garlic fingers were over cooked to the point of dryness. The cake that usually comes with chocolate & caramel sauce with whipped cream came with nothing. On this day they closed early once again and not as advertised. If you wonder why you loose customers it is because of the above as your business becomes undependable especially when you charge more for less. My wife contact you guys to let you know and there was zero getting back to her. We will not be returning to Pizza Delight as it’s just not the place and atmosphere it once was. That being said there our a lot of other pizza places out there that offer good quality food and stand by there posted hours of operation.

I used to love Pizza Delight. This was not an exceptionally pleasant experience for us. We arrived about 5pm to a mostly empty restaurant so our party of 4 were seated quickly, but it went downhill from there. The table was incredibly sticky, all of our paper placemats were immediately glued to the table and we tried our best not to actually touch the table as clothing was sticking to it. No one came for an initial drink order. When the waiter did arrive to take our orders we ordered everything at once. About 15 minutes later a pizza and a garlic fingers came to the table, we had no plates or cutlery, and the pizza was not one we had ordered (the pizza was brought by the hostess and we informed her immediately it was not what we ordered, she replied "the kitchen said it was yours", we insisted we did not order these toppings so she took it back, and then the waiter came back out with the same pizza and loudly exclaimed "pepperoni with cheese pizza!" as if we somehow did not recognize that? We did not order anything with pepperoni, we sent it back again) We were finally brought plates and cutlery and soon realized the tiny table we were at was not going to fit more than a single pizza, so we asked to move to a larger table, this was accommodated with no issues, although the next table was also sticky. The rest of our party's food was brought out and we were informed the pizza we sent back was being remade as the correct one we ordered and would be about 4 minutes. The food was mediocre at best, crust was not crispy, it was very doughy, excessive sauce on the pizza, the donair sauce was so garlicky that it stung to eat it. We never saw our waiter again after we finally got all of our food so there were no drinks refilled, we ended up sharing the rest of my drink. The ladies washroom was out of toilet paper in the regular stall, and nearly out in the disabled stall, I checked the "bathroom check sheet" on the wall that shows each day and the times the bathroom is supposed to be checked and there had been no checks on the sheet for 4 days. My son had initially wanted to have his birthday party here in October, we will definitely be going somewhere else.

My parents demanded I take them in for lunch while they were visiting the city and it was the right choice! Food is hot and fresh and we had a very attentive server. My mom was very happy to see that the food is just as amazing as it was 10 years ago. Will definitely be stopping back in again soon!

I think they recently have new owners and the quality of the food is seemingly trending up after the disasterous late 2010s. Service is consistently good, and Halifax is a good service city. The last time I was there, tables were sticky - and I mean all tables, I walked around and touched them all. The staff said it was so humid they couldn't stop them from being sticky. I believe they tried their best, but they need to really invest in the place to bring it up to a better standard.

On August 20th, My mother, aunt, brother, cousin and I went here. We went mainly because we all had good memories of the old restaurants with the buffets. I ordered the goat cheese & cranberry salad. We ordered two different appetizers to split. We waited 45 minutes for our food, and the only time that we saw the waitress when she was telling us that they didn’t have something, or the three different times where she asked questions about my salad, and they didn’t have the dressing that I wanted. They served us the appetizers at the same time as our food, and we had to remind the waitress to give us cutlery and napkins. My salad was flavourless and the chicken was rubbery, my mom’s fries tasted like they were heated in a microwave, and my brothers pizza was not cooked. The whole centre of the pizza was doughy and uncooked. While all of this was happening my mom had asked the waitress 3 different times for water, which we didn’t get until we were almost done our food, and we were still waiting on the second pizza that they said they would have ready for my brother, and we probably waited about 20 minutes for. My mom just asked for the bill and a takeout box for my brother’s pizza because the rest of us were done, and after she paid, we realized that a part of my brother’s pizza was still undercooked. All five of us are quite disappointed from a place that we all used to enjoy.

This location was very clean and well maintained. My pizza was made to perfection - hot, fresh, and, fast. I also had a wonderful waitress named Miriam who was knowledgeable about the menu, very welcoming, and great personality! Hope to come visit this location again some day as the food, staff, and service were amazing!

We had ended up here because everyone else was full, what a happy little accident this was, the waitstaff, particularly one lady, I unfortunately didn't get her name was absolutely fantastic.. they were very short staffed and had forgotten to add my chicken to the pasta I ordered, she took the meal off the bill completely and was super sweet about the whole thing, this poor girl was run off her feet but still had a beautiful smile on her face the whole time. Judging by the reactions of the costumers who had to wait the waitresses don't get the credit they deserve. The food was good but our waitress really would be the reason we went back.

I've always loved Pizza Delight but hadn't been in a few years. We went to this one the night before our flight to my in-laws for Christmas, and they didn't disappoint! The food was delicious and the service was good. I think they may still be a bit understaffed, but I'm so glad they were able to come back after closing down. We will be back!

Service was good, pizza is good, garlic fingers are good. The pizza style is a little different but I like it. Their sauce is tasty. I haven't eaten anything else here as Pizza Delight for me is just about pizza. Hit a nice Italian restaurant or something if you want pasta.

We have been several times to this restaurant in the past couple of weeks. The staff are fine. Tables have some sort of damage to their surfaces that make them super sticky (feel dirty but I was told it was damage during COVID). How hard would it be to put some plastic over the tops...Many of the items we ordered were unavailable (promotional sangria - several visits they had no fruit). Was there last night. Again, no fruit so no sangria (yet it is a fall promotional item). There has been fruit in all the groceries stores I go to in town....;o(. Hubby ordered fries - no ketchup, no vinegar in the restaurant. There is a Giant Tiger within walking distance (other side of parking lot). How hard would it be to buy some ketchup for your customers? Fruit? This is not a Third World country. All these items are found on grocery store shelves. We are not going back. Find it hard to believe they stay open since they continually are "missing" important yet accessible food items.
