Amazing food, Meat is braised till it falls apart & is very flavorful. The vegetables garnishes are always really fresh, My favourites that's I would suggest are : the beef Chimichanga, & green chicken enchilada's. The nutella cheesecake is some kind of wonderful.

This is my new favourite restaurant. The food is FANTASTIC, the prices are really reasonable and affordable, and the staff are SO EXTREMELY KIND and considerate. I seriously can't express enough how amazing they are. Delicious authentic Mexican food at a great price and incredibly kind staff? You literally can't get better than that. Great service and amazing food. We ordered the trio which came with housemade nachos, salsa, rojas hot sauce and guacamole. Then we ordered enchiladas which came with beans and Mexican rice. All of those were amazing. Then we got combo number 10 which came with enchilada and chimichanga which also came with beans and Mexican rice. Service was amazing and the food came out in seconds. The shop has Mexican sauces, cookies and chillies in the shop. Overall great experience. Price range was very economical. Total bill after 3 people were full was 60~ bucks. Totally worth it. Street parking only. Would definitely recommend for authentic Mexican food!!

This place has the most incredible fresh mexican food. The taste is perfect, the price is fair and the staff is super friendly. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

This place is wonderful. I was sad I was only recently introduced to this restaurant as they are soon to be closing their doors after many great years. My single experience was wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was thorough. I wish I knew about this place sooner but completely understand why it's been a popular little spot as long as it has. ThankYou for a great evening with Delicious as authentic Mexican food. I brought some home to my family who also loved it.

Very tasty & authentic Mexican food! We had the tacos, three different flavours all very yummy, chicken tostada (crunchy & delicious) and the rojas enchilada meal with Mexican potatoes which was filling and delicious. No wonder they have been rated best restaurant outside of downtown! Friendly service as well, overall great experience and we'll be back to try the burritos!

Very nice small Mexican restaurant and I don’t think twice when I want to have mexican food. The food: no doubt one of the best authentic mexican food places in HRM and I can confidently say it is one of the best in the province and its surroundings. The served portion is very generous and filling (you dont want to stop eating because of the deliciousness of the enchiladas) Service and price: Anna, Wilson and the other woman are super nice and Very welcoming and you will feel the warmth the moment you step in to the restaurant. The price is reasonable compare to the portion served. The only thing is they open 2 days only for lunch. Dont forget to try the jarritos.. I definitely recommend it and I will go again.

If you want authentic Mexican food cooked by a Mexican chef, this is the place to come. Delicious! Can be popular at meal times, so book ahead if you can. The enchiladas with beans and rice sides were expertly crafted and exactly to the level of "heat" we requested. And the Agua Fresca was a perfect complement to cool things down a little.

Accessible by public transport, some difficulty finding parking, and most is paid parking. Small well decorated venue, inviting and cosy. The food is priced right and the portions are good, is also tasty. I enjoyed very much the watermelon Agua Fresca. The servers are nice and service is quick. Great spot for family dinner! Or for an informal date, you can talk without shouting.

I just had the Chicken Enchiladas Verdes combo with rice and refried beans, and asked for "spicy". Spicy for real! and was just so good. Such excellent quality and price, still, after all these years.

A cool, hole in the wall, authentic Mexican place. The Mexican potatoes were epic and the quesadilla was pretty good, if not a little much on the lettuce. But everything overall was awesome, ambience was rad, and service was very sweet

Always wonderful food! Authentic Mexican cuisine. And now with less seating because of covid but it works. Not as noisy as it used to be :)
