I read this was the best sushi place in Halifax and I wasn’t disappointed! Got a sushi bento, dragon roll and eel roll and it was a good portion for 2 people - and at a very affordable price too (~$30)! The rice was well seasoned and had a good texture. The tempura in the rolls was also deliciously seasoned too. The portion of fish was a good thickness as well. The kaarage was dark meat with a thin, but crunchy batter - excellent in my opinion. Service was quick and polite. Would recommend this place to locals and non-locals alike

My go-to sushi in the city. Rice is perfect, deliciously seasoned and the sushi is always fresh. The couple who runs it is so friendly and wonderful. Also the miso soup is one of the best I've had. They are also super fast, efficient, and consistent.

Fantastic place for poke bowls, although I haven't tried their sushi. Authentic doesn't begin to describe it. Their eel bowl is 😘👌

Best miso and Karage in town, and my absolute favourite roll of all time, the queen roll. Extremely friendly, always quick, and great prices.

Tokyo Roll's tokyo roll is AMAZING! The rice was perfect and the avocado is so soft and flavourful. THE BEST! I also ordered the deep fried karaage chicken which was tender yet crispy, extremely tasty and not greasy at all. Yoshi and Sophie have the best sushi in Halifax!!!

I have only tried sweet potato rolls and they are very delicious. Taste is way better than you will find at anyother restaurants. They don't have delivery through uber eats or doordash etc. So it is not easy to order from them

Tokyo Roll is an amazing little sushi restaurant. The owners are delightful and friendly. Their excellent sushi follows the same trend, with a diverse menu and quick service! This is my go to spot for something to eat, and I cannot recommend it highly enough!!!

Quick, delicious, and affordable. Got a bento box and it was ready in 3 minutes. Took it back to the office for lunch and was thoroughly impressed with everything in it. Absolutely tasty. Perfect takeout lunch spot downtown!

super good!! They only have takeout but that was okay! Got the tofu teriyaki with no sauce on the salad because it had mayo and the edamame, which was not too salty which I find happens a lot. The restaurant is cute and very clean. The prices were not expensive at all and food tasted fresh!! would definitely come again and it is vegan friendly:))

Tokyo Roll is amazing! I lived in Japan for years and this place was 100 percent authentic and delicious Japanese cuisine. The sushi chef is from the Chiba prefecture on the Honshu Island in Japan. I highly recommend you stop by and grab some takeout 🍱🍣🍜

Really good sushi! The pieces were a bit small, but the price was good. I ordered four rolls: Alaska, Atlantic, king and queen. They were fresh and delicious.
