πŸ‘πŸ‘ I'm not sure what the other reviewers are saying about this place, but I'll preface my review with this: when it comes to doctors, I've noticed the happy people are the silent majority. Those who are unhappy are the most vocal. I love this walk-in clinic. I wait no longer than I would for my family... People often mention clinic, doctor, family, walk-, wait, time, visit,

I'm not sure what the other reviewers are saying about this place, but I'll preface my review with this: when it comes to doctors, I've noticed the happy people are the silent majority. Those who are unhappy are the most vocal. I love this walk-in clinic. I wait no longer than I would for my family physician and this place was a godsend when we lost our previous family doctor left the province. We were without for 7 months and relied on this walk-in exclusively. I've never had the same doctor twice that I can recall, but they've all been pleasant and helpful. The wait times are also quite reasonable on most days. I'm sure that immediately after school or work it can be busy, but what else would you expect? 5/5 for sure. I still come here in a pinch when I've forgotten to get an Rx refilled at my family docs (or other similarly small issues). Don't let negative reviews fool you - try it yourself before passing on a great clinic with friendly staff (Cayla at the front desk is one of the best medical admin staffers I've dealt with).

I went to the walk-in clinic this morning for the first time to renew a prescription that had expired upon moving to Bedford. Dr. Wong was so kind and friendly. I would absolutely recommend her again! When you arrive, take a number, then wait while the desk helps other patients. Once your number has been called you can check in. Several people did not do this when arriving and were confused or went to the wrong desk (despite a lot of signage with clear instructions). It was relatively busy but I did not have to wait very long at all.

If you are walk-in patient, they will put you in between the scheduled patients. The wait time was almost 3 hours because of that, despite I was the first few people got the ticket during the afternoon shift. So don't believe the online estimated waiting time. Secondly, I am sure there are better doctor in this clinic, but the one I meet was horrible - biased, don't listen to what you have to say, and a sense of entitlement. I will not come to this clinic again.

The doctors can barely speak and understand English. We needed our son referred to a urinary specialist and he couldn’t understand what we were even saying and gave us prescription for antibiotics when the test was negative for uti. We are just going to another clinic and never going back here again. Not the first time there has been serious language barriers for simple conversations even when I have a regular cold and just need a note for work.

Receptionist staff is incredibly inattentive, impatient and frequently uncaring/rude, bordering on hostile, whether coming in for a visit to a family physician , or simply looking for a walk-in examination, with one particular employee literally unable to see someone right in front of her. When making phone calls, I’m often met with the same rude, needlessly aggressive tone I received on my last walk-in visit. On that subject, walk-in hours are not visible in the building or made distinct on the Family Focus website, so don’t be surprised if the aforementioned receptionist staff is needlessly frustrated at you for not knowing those hours. I would likely be less focused on the issue of these receptionists if it were not a consistent problem, but it is, and why I frequently choose to visit a walk-in clinic closer to my home rather than visit a family doctor. The only reason I choose not to give this otherwise abhorrent and unwelcoming facility 1/5 stars is because MY experiences with the doctors has mostly been positive, informative and thorough whether my appointment is booked or impromptu, though I HAVE heard mixed results from friends and family in the past. If you have diverse options for your choice of health care, I implore you make this facility your last-resort option.

This clinic may as well be my family doctor, i hate the poor reviews i am seeing. Sorry that these things are occasionally happening to some patients but they take good care of me and my daughter, and have done so for the past 4 years. Some doctors may have language barriers but i have never had one completely unable to communicate. They answer all my questions in one visit and give samples when available. When they know of a family doc accepting new patients the secretary will pass the info along... always get amazing service there... typically decent wait times, but one time i was feeling miserable and it was going to be a hour and a half wait so they told me i could come back without losing my spot.

Very surprised to see all of the negative reviews here, as my experience was anything but negative. Visited the clinic for a persistent ear ache over the past few days. Arrived at 8:30 am and waited for about ~40 minutes to see the doctor (reasonable, in my opinion). I would recommend arriving as early as possible because it seems to fill up by ~9:00 am. The folks at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly, especially with my extra paperwork as a non-Canadian resident. The doctor was also quite helpful, clear, and friendly. I did not feel rushed or pressured to leave in any way. She was thorough in her examination and explained her reasoning for my diagnosis. Overall, very happy with my visit. I would return without question if other issues arrive I and don't yet have a family doctor.

I am ammeding my review of this clinic. One day they were terrible, and the next they were wonderful. I'd prefer to think they are wonderful more often than terrible, so this review reflects the good experience I had here. The wait time was super short, the doctor was very kind and helpful, and I was in and out of the office in 10 minutes. It was great!

Dr. Dalafu is very thoughtful. My eleven-year-old daughter lost approximately 70% of her hair in two months and we were desperately scared! Dr. Dalafu's compassion and kindness with us were more effective than any medicine! On the medicine side, she did all she could to make sure my daughter was healthy and safe, but her compassionate words will never be forgotten. I'm so happy to have her as our family doctor!

They failed to give blood test result back to me. I called so many times and even went to clinic ask about it. A month later I heard nothing from them. Medical office administrators are not trained properly and tried to cover silly mistakes. They refuse to cancel appointment at hospital and gave me a number to let my do it myself. I am totally disappointed with this clinic and their system. If u just need a doctors notes, u can come. If u need them to do anything for u, u wish. If for something serious, don’t be here to waste your time.

Very disappointed. Had a consult with Dr.dejager and days later realized, because of additional symptoms, that what he had told me was incorrect. I had called the receptionist (Lolaine Macleod) explained my situation and she told me the doctor wasn't in, (although the voice message indicated he was and also indicated his other days working) but that she would call me back. Lolaine promised 3 times to call me and never did, I gave her 4 days to do so and all she said was " that she gave my name to the doctor and that he wasn't in"....again, even tho the voice mail indicated he was. Lolaine said "they hadn't changed the messages". The lack of care and incompetency in this office is unmatched and shameful. Go elsewhere......

😠 Absolutely atrocious medical care. My partner was experiencing extreme chest pains all night. 811 advised not to go to the ER and to be seen by a doctor within 12 hours. My partner showed up at this location 1 hour before opening, and still waited 4 hours to be seen by a doctor. This alone, while fr...

😠 Went here because I was in excruciating pain that I was pretty sure was a bad uti. The doctor didn’t believe me, said I was most likely fine just tummy trouble but would do a test anyway. I ended up going to the hospital because it turned into a kidney infection and a week later they called me to sa...

😠 The worst medical experience I have ever had. The doctor wrote me off as anxious before even checking my vitals. πŸ‘ Health care in Canada is like a communist bread line, if you get in line early enough, you may get bread. In order to see a doctor here at the walk-in clinic, you have to line up at 7:00 a.m. If you do manage to get in, some of the doctors here are pretty good. I've had some really good experience...
