    Best gym in Halifax! It’s not just a gym, it’s a whole experience and an amazing inspiring positive community!! It always feels like a safe space and the trainers always make sure you give everything you got on the floor and get the best quality training ever!! Would always be my favorite and definitely recommend it to any woman out there!! 😍

    The gym is perfect for people who have busy schedules. It's only 30 minutes long, but feels like an hour of workout, you definitely feel it! Jodie, the owner, who is also a trainer, a mom, a super athletic lady, a business woman, is very inspiring. Her positive energy is contagious.

    I cannot say enough great things about this gym. All of the staff are incredibly welcoming and the community is so supportive. The workouts can be as easy or difficult as you’d like and there are always new challenging exercises to upgrade to. I am so happy I took the leap and tried out 30 minute hit, I will be a member for life. 10/10 would recommend!

    I joined 30 Minute Hit-Halifax in April with my daughter. We have family who have been members for a while. We are so happy we finally joined them. Coming together in our small group has been wonderful. That being said the friendly, family environment at this gym is tremendous-second to none. The trainers welcome you each time you arrive right up until you leave when they wave goodbye from the circuit floor. I never expected to love the workout so much…. I find myself challenged and stimulated every workout. The techniques of the week add variety to the stations and I find myself incorporating them into my circuit. The trainers are so encouraging and positive, are always available to show you proper technique or to offer ways to push harder. The support from other members is also something I’ve never experienced at previous gyms, we are getting to know folks and everyone is always cheering you on and encouraging. It truly is a great environment! The website speaks about our journey of health, empowerment and happiness…. This gym makes me feel healthy, empowered and happy every time I go!

    On my road to recovery from years of disordered eating and an unhealthy relationship with exercise, I tasked myself to discover a way to enjoy moving my body that didn’t feel image-driven. I started 30 Minute HIT at the recommendation of family members, and instantly felt the strong sense of community in the gym. It’s a really inclusive environment (people of all ages, sizes, abilities), which was a relief after leaving past gyms feeling uncomfortable/judged. I’m a fairly shy person, but I’ve managed to make friends through all the panting and sweating. I’ve never laughed with strangers so much in my life! The circuit is challenging, stimulating and goes by quickly. Knowing you’re building a skill is satisfying, and recognizing your improvement over time is a huge confidence boost. The trainers are wonderful people who truly want you to succeed and have fun. They all genuinely understand the needs of each member on the floor, and provide the appropriate personalized support. I feel so grateful to be a part of the 30 Minute Hit family. I can’t imagine another gym ever making me feel so strong, happy and healthy :)

    This is my happy place! I joined last August after a free trial and did not think I would ever be this happy working out! I feel so much stronger, mentally and physically than I was this time last year. The trainers and the owner make you feel like you are a part of a community, not just a gym. Its never boring, because they are always giving you tips of ways to improve and do new combos. I just recently did my 100th HIT since joining, and it was the BEST feeling! I recommend this to everyone!

    30 Minute Hit is by far the best workout I have ever done. It is work but it's also very fun so I want to go! There are no classes so you go when you want to. The staff are all knowledgeable and can show you new techniques equally you can do your work out on your own. It truly is the best of both I think.

    Exercise has been apart of my life and at 59 I’ve done it all. I was intrigued with 30 Minute Hit when I first saw them and won a charity auction bid so decided to give it a whirl. So very glad I did. The circuit is intense and challenging but certainly doable! The trainers are amazing, cheering you on, offering tips and always motivating. The option to Hit at Home is one I take advantage of when getting into the studio doesn’t work. A win win for me It’s truly the best program I’ve been a part of. ~ Cathy

    Book yourself in for a free trial, you won't regret it! The trainers are amazing, pushing you to be your best self in a very supportive community of women of all shapes and sizes. I've been going to this gym for 5 years and am the strongest I've ever been. Don't hesitate to try it out!

    Highly recommend! After a brief hiatus I wasn't sure if I would come back to 30 Minute Hit, but after going to Halifax the atmosphere and training was just what I needed. I can't wait to meet more Halifax members and those I meet along the way as I HIT-hop my way through. Amazing workout, only 30 minutes of your day and so much variation to keep you motivated!

    Best gym I have ever gone to! I've been working out with 30 Minute Hit for 3 and half years now and I still leave every workout feeling challenged. The trainers are great at helping you perfect your technique and teaching you new moves when you need to level up. The positive, non-judgmental atmosphere makes this such an enjoyable place to get active!

    Thirty minutes! And on your own time schedule. I used to go to classes at other gyms, but struggled making the times work as life got busier. This environment is guided and encouraging, no need to make up a plan on your own. So glad I reached out.

    30 minute hit is a wonderful workout kickboxing circuit to achieve fitness goals with the right guidance by the instructors. Jodie (the owner) is amazing and so are all the trainers who always go an extra mile to motivate you, to modify your workout if you have any prior injuries or any such issue. Just ask the trainers! I love to sweat whenever I indulge in intense kickboxing regime there and you can see results soon. I highly recommend it to each and every one who hasn't tried it before. Just step-in and team will take care of the rest. Take that first step, you will be surprised to see the transformation!

    I signed up for this gym last year thinking that it would be a great way to get fit and to enjoy working out, but I have gotten so much more out of it than I could have imagined! I love coming in, and the trainers and other members are so welcoming you always feel like you belong, and never feel like anyone is ever judging you for your abilities. I found with other gyms I was constantly trying to figure out what I should be doing for a workout, and if that workout was actually effective. Each time you go in to 30 Minute Hit the trainers are eager to help you, and willing to take the time to help you feel more comfortable with the movements at each station. Overall, it is a very positive environment with excellent trainers, and I can't imagine being part of any other gym! :)

    Subject: 30 Minute HIT I am so happy I discovered 30 Minute Hit. I absolutely love it! I am 65 years old and have been active my whole life. I became ill approximately four years ago, which is taking a very long time to recover from. Presently I still have minor residual symptoms and my physical and cardiovascular fitness deteriorated. I was never a person that enjoyed gyms or structured exercise classes. I played soccer for 20+ years (39-60 years old) and loved running. I knew I had to find something I really liked so I would stick with it. 30 Minute Hit is exactly what I was looking for! It consists of 12 two minute stations which involve punching (hitting) kicking and core. All of the stations are different and vary from lower to higher levels of difficulty. It involves learning the technique at each station and improving those techniques with practice and coaching from the trainers. The owner and trainers are fantastic! I cannot say enough about each and every one of them. So knowledgeable, helpful, patient, kind and motivating. You can work at your own pace and can modify the techniques to respect any injuries or problems you may have. The facility is very well managed, efficiently run and really clean. It is also an extremely inclusive environment. I have significantly improved in every way! General fitness, balance, strength and coordination.     I started 30 minute HIT, Halifax location in July and I can honestly say that it's something i look forward in doing. It not only helped with my physical fitness but also my mental health. I feel so much more at ease and it is a great reset when i am feeling overwhelmed.     Great workout solution for the busy woman. Flexible timings. Drop in when you can, there’s no fixed start time! Friendly instructors. Positive, powerful environment. Child friendly zone available on site at no extra charge. Three easily accessible locations with near by parking; use any or all locations. This business model makes getting your workout in easy; while providing a 30 minute challenge that just keeps on giving!

    I have been a member at the Halifax Hit since last fall. It has become my favorite place to be. All the trainers are tremendous , they are helpful and encouraging. Being a person with a few restrictions they will always modify stations so I have no trouble doing them. I really don't have enough good to say about them. I would recommend the Hit to anyone. I started only going twice a week and now try to go 6 days a week. I love it and it is like being with family. If you want to get in shape and enjoy doing it give them a call. I promise you will never regret going, I never have.

    Getting back into the groove of things after having your first child is NOT easy. The support, motivation and relaxed environment is definitely what I have needed! I don't feel self conscious or nervous stepping in, everyone is SO welcoming. The trainers push you and make sure you make the most of your 30 minute Hit. Best workout made FUN!     By far the most inclusive, supportive gym I've ever been a member to. There is always a trainer here to pump you up through your workout. The 30 minutes flies by and the members are all super friendly. An absolute game changer! It's also a plus that memberships are competitively priced!

    I basically like everything about the 30minute hit gym, from the moment I enter the gym to the moment I leave. Just as I enter , i always find the trainers smile at me and welcome me with the most warming conversations. I think it is by far the best decision I took in 2016. The hit gym has a very friendly enviornment, where everyone feels just welcomed and energetic. Everyone is focused on getting the best of their workout. The trainers are as dedicated to you, as much as you are dedicated to improving yourself. Being a hitter is not about being a member at a gym, but rather a member of a family. A family that will always motivate you and keep you committed to becoming a better person everyday.

    I signed up for a free trial in November 2015. It was tough! The support and encouragement in that gym is so inspiring and motivating. Danika, Anna and Maddy are so incredibly encouraging and know just what to say at the right time to get that energy level cranked up a bit more to ensure each member has the very best workout! I love that it is a community of supportive women working at their own goals yet collectively supporting one another. It is the most empowering workout and the fist pumps at the final station are very gratifying for a workout well done. Facilities are clean and the downtown location and hours allow me to fit in a workout at lunch time. Best investment in me:) Thanks for making it such a welcoming space.

    Really GREAT gym! The trainers are all wonderful -- they push you to work really hard and are super encouraging. Ideal for busy women -- in 30 minutes, you've done a completely satisfying workout, with all the sweat to prove it. A great de-stresser too!

    Absolutely the BEST gym ever. I went in for a free trail and I was addicted right away. Very supportive group of ladies to be around and the high intensity training makes you feel like you've accomplished so much in reasonable amount of time. %1000 would recommend.
