We stopped in to this place on a whim, I didn't even know it was here. Food is higher end quality, service was friendly. The girl there was sweet, working hard and was customer service oriented. The only thing I found a bit strange was the type of restaurant they are. They serve quality food but run the restaurant like a take out. I think they should be offering a more sit down service and less of the take out style. I believe more money would be spent and tips would be higher. A tad more professional service would be better. Over all it was great. Thanks!

Another wonderful meal! Pizza crust has the best flavor and you can get a large variety of specialty pizzas. Their Donair poutine was good with the house fries. And the pickle garlic fingers ? Awesome!

We were hungry and looking for a bite to eat for lunch. It was so difficult to find a decent restaurant in the area. Minimal choices to say the least. Luck was on our side when we found this spot. We ordered: Smash burger Fish and chips Club sandwich Fried chicken Big chocolate chip cookie The fish was extra crispy and so was the chicken. Both were delicious. The burger was enormous but the peanut butter was overwhelming. Not too expensive and The portion size for each dish was “yuuge”.

We were unsure what to expect from the mostly positive but somewhat mixed reviews. We were very pleasantly surprised! The service was attentive and friendly (Barbara was enjoyable and friendly), food was flavourful and good quantities, coffee was standard but bottomless, and prices seemed on par with similar food establishments these days. We ordered the haddock eggs Benedict ($16 very tasty, nice sized portion, perfect poached eggs), the breakfast pizza ($16 again, nice sized serving and good for the meat lovers), and a breakfast poutine with a poached egg on top ($15 the veggies were delicious!). All around, very pleased and we'll be back to try other menu items. Grabbed a giant cookie for our ride home and ended up spending just under $70 for 3 people with taxes and tip included.

We eat here all the time. It is the highest class of your favourite comfort foods, done with amazing ingredients and lots of love. Staff is warm and friendly and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re eating in your best friend’s beautiful home. They also have a new location, Savary Pit which serves AMAZING BBQ and is located in a wonderful local distillery, Black Harbour. Can’t recommend them enough.

When you walk in the door it's warm and welcoming. beautifully laid out. Food is amazing staff is great Couldn't ask for a nicer place to spend your morning just relaxing with some soft music and great food

Not exaggerating when I say I had one of THE best burgers here. First time going. Staff was great and friendly, food was amazing Ordered the wings, the Waffle Crunch burger and the Chicken bacon ranch wrap. Burger was perfection 👌 Highly recommended

Quaint little place with great prices to catch a bite. Looks like a pizza place from outside but they actually have a lot more than that. They were really nice to me with vegan options and the veggie burger was delicious. The rest of my party got club sandwiches and enjoyed a lot too. The fries are plentiful!

I just ordered a large donair pizza that I paid $28 for and I would expect it to actually have donair meat on it and onions and tomatoes. I had to dig to find 3 little 1/2" inch pieces of meat on the slices . I found next to no onions and only 2 pieces of tomatoes. I didn't know I was ordering a dough , cheese and sauce pizza . I would not order it again .

Haven't been home in years and we stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious! The staff are so helpful, incredibly friendly, and welcoming--feels like coming home. Stand outs were the coffee, Belgian waffles (apple & cinnamon), and the historic photos around the restaurant. Make this a must visit on your list for Hubbards! We'll definitely be back 💞

Best cinnamon roll I've ever had! The atmosphere is cozy, the food is delicious and staff is attentive. I enjoyed my experience.

We ate Breakfast here a number of times while we were on vacation, the food was great and the service better! Some of the friendliest staff I have ever met! Georgia was so sweet and friendly and Doreen's cinnamon were amazing! Thanks and my daughter lives them!

Wonderful food! Had the brisket burger with the handcut fries, and shared a side of fresh potato chips. Amazing! So much flavour and the brisket was tender and juicy, and the chips were amazing. I prefer my fries extra crispy, and they weren't but they were well cooked and tasty. Looking forward to future visits

We stopped in to eat after the Harvest Moon Market last week. The restaurant was really busy and they weren't prepared for the influx. Our amazing waitress, despite being run off her feet (she was the only one), and having already worked twelve hours, she was full of smiles and extremely pleasant. I wish I had gotten her name to reach out to her manager to say what a great staff member she has!

If you have a food allergy don't eat here. Stressed it to the waitress about the allergy. Both orders came and were wrong but we kept them regardless rather than wait. Fortunately I checked my Burger before and sure enough the offending item had been put on and then scraped off. The "cook" should know about allergies. The crispy chicken sandwich was crispy as all food is when you fry all the moisture out of it. The FRENCH fries were tasty though we both ordered home fries. Oh well don't think I'll trust it here again. Cant trust anyone that is that careless with the food.

This is one of the most epic yet unassuming meal stops of our NS road trip. Tucked into an unremarkable strip of stores, this gem is filled with creative local art, delicious coffee, creative and delectable menu choices and warm welcoming staff. I enjoyed the Haddock eggs Benedict with home-cut potatoes for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Fresh, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a stop!!

I just moved to Fox Point and I am so happy to have the Savory plate close by. I've ordered there multiple times and tried different things on their menu. Their pizzas are delicious, the sauce is a bit too sweet for me, but I love everything else about their pizzas. The haddock burger is really good too.

We ordered the fish & chips. Cool atmosphere, nice staff, short wait time. The fish was great! I’m not sure if it was topped with a fresh dill but loved it. We chose home fries with unique seasoning. Tartar sauce wasn’t home made but it also wasn’t Kraft, which was nice. Gravy reminded me of a thick au jus. This does not come with lemon. Forgot to order it. I will definitely come here again.

Unfortunately disappointing experience - “with maple syrup, fruit, and cream” on the menu but came with glucose pancake syrup, very few pieces of strawberries, and fake dairy whipping cream that never change its form:(. If you mention “maple syrup”, you really do have to offer real maple syrup. For $14 on the menu, the quality has to be real. It was not worth the long distance drive:(.
